1st Annilann Da Business at Wissant (Brothwell, Miss M & Miss M)

A raw 7 months old cobby blue boy who presents a lovely overall shape and make. Already showing good development of forechest, good upper arm and matching back angulations. Using the balanced structure to his advantage while moving freely and happily around the ring. Delightful pocket-rocket full of fun and show attitude. I’m hoping the age will bring a bit more masculinity to finish the promising ensemble. Lost the BP to a much older puppy from junior class, but it was a very tight decision.

2nd Aylesmaed Blu Rose at Colmandakev (Collings, Mrs A &Mr K R)

A typy blue girl with a feminine head. Lovely, moderate neck, enough upper arm. Compact body, well developed ribcage, short and firm loin. Moves well when settles. Appreciated the gentle handling of a puppy that occasionally has her own ideas what to do in the ring.

1st Whinburn Walk the Moon to Wensum (Ward, Mrs B M)

16-month-old black boy who creates a gorgeous silhouette.  An appealing head and such a gentle expression. Ample neck to well-placed shoulders. Lovely roundness in his well-developed body, ribcage and rump.  Firm loin and strong back angulations. Steady mover. A bit less hair would allow him to really show off his balanced confirmation. Reserve best of breed, in the challenge, I just preferred the mature forechest and overall drive of the open class winner.

2nd Babtonkelpie Cop the Lot (Hutton-Baber, Messrs J & D)

An honest, balanced 12-month-old puppy with a lot of substance for the age. Strong but not overdone head; however, I would prefer tighter eyelids. Lovely, moderate neck, fine shoulders and sturdy, compact body. Good forechest for the age. Nice round bum and good back angulations. Moves well with a level topline when settles. Best puppy in breed.

1st Chazbaz My Girl Melissa (Wright, Mrs S A)

Three-year-old b/t girl with lovely, clean markings. Gives a very balanced overall impression. Beautiful, feminine head and sweet expression. Lovely neck connects smoothly to the well-placed shoulders. Well-developed forechest, good upper arm and matching back angulations. Here too, a bit less hair would better highlight her balanced confirmation. Moves effortlessly with a happy disposition in a great cooperation with her handler.

2nd Wissant Dear Darlin (Brothwell, Mrs D)

A balanced, cobby four-year-old blue girl. Presents a very compact outline. Moderate neck, fairly well-placed shoulders, good forechest and angulations. Lovely, compact body, short loin. Moves well with a great attitude. Very well handled. I just preferred the head of the 1st.

Class: 58 – Open

1st Stobytill Bootylicious (Hutson, Mrs S J)

Four-year-old blue girl. Feminine head with a lovely expression. Moderate neck connects smoothly to the correctly placed shoulders. Great upper arm and wonderful forechest. Strong quarters finish the balanced picture. Well-rounded, long ribcage and short enough in the loin, but carries a bit too much weight today. Nevertheless, she carries herself beautifully with a firm topline stacked and on the move. Moves with great drive and covers the ground effortlessly. Just a really lovely, well-made girl who gave her best to her handler. Best of breed, shortlisted in the gundog group.

2nd Wilanorah Ticket to Moon at Wissant (Brothwell, Miss M & Miss M)

A well-balanced, masculine boy with the kind of showmanship that makes you smile when he moves around the ring full of himself. Balanced, masculine head with parallel head planes. Strong, moderate neck, well-placed shoulders. Lovely upper arm, forechest and ribcage. Round, strong quarters he used very well while powering around the ring. Loses his otherwise level topline occasionally just a tad when he is pushing himself on the move. Beautifully presented.
