Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at their show, a warm welcome and fantastic atmosphere. Generally good quality across the breeds, especially in the Vulnerable Native Breed Stakes which is encouraging to see. 

Boxer

1st Mitchell DICEULON LULAHMITZ SURPRISE SURPRISE 

13 month brindle bitch, clean eye of good colour. Head developing well with correct proportions, ears carried well to complete expression. Good reach of neck, onto well laid shoulders, chest developing well. Tidy feet. Top line maintained well. Slightly untidy on the move today but settled to show ample drive.

1st Merritt DICEULON TOP HAT AND TAILS AT MERQUIN (AI)

23 month old male, clean eye of good shape and colour. Head developing well with clearly defined stop. Well muscled neck with good reach. Ample bone throughout with tidy feet. Well constructed fore and after and shown in fit firm condition. Moved well, covering the ground with purposeful action. Pleased to award him BOB. 

2nd Longley LIMKYNS MOONLIGHT TANGO WITH ATTOMIC

2 year old red bitch, head of good proportions, eye clean. Ears set well to complete expression. Strong neck of good length. Well boned for size and shown in firm condition throughout. Slightly untidy on the move today which cost her.

1st Wheeler OLIBETAY BELLA ROSE AT HIPKINS JW 

4 year old brindle bitch, broad in skull, eyes on the larger side which distracted from expression. Good underjaw. Neck strong, well boned throughout with tidy feet. Strong top line with correct tail set and carriage. Sound mover, covering the ground with drive.

1st Santoriello MANZART BECAUSE OF YOU NOIRATAN

13 month old male, scissor bite, clean eye, pleasing head which is developing well. Good length of neck. Well boned throughout with tidy feet. Unsettled today which let him down as lots to like about this youngster. Once settled he moved well.

1st Gallagher MANZART EXCALIBUR AT IZRALIGHT JW

Just over 2 year old male of good size, scissor bite. Loved his head, well proportioned throughout with sufficient stop. Clean eye of rich colour. Good reach of neck onto well laid shoulders. Well angled throughout. Strong top line which was maintained on the move. Shown in firm condition and effortless action on the move. Pleased to award him BOB and Group 4.

1st Ingram, Ingram, Tousent & Lack JOJAVIK SPANGLED MOB JW

2 year old bitch, scissor bite, clean eye of good colour. Ears larger than I would like. Good reach of neck, moderate angulation throughout. Forechest well developed with good depth of chest and length to ribcage. Moved well once settled. RBOB 

2nd SANTORIELLO RAFTHOUSE AMULET’S CHILD

4 year old male of good size, scissor bite. Clean eye with good expression and neat ears. Strong neck with good reach. Ample fore chest and well angulated throughout. Moved well once settled but didn’t seem to appreciate the flooring today. Coming into his prime with lots to like.

8 month old bitch, scissor bite. Head developing well, clean dark eye. Ample bone throughout with tidy feet. Top line firm and maintained on the move. Sound mover for age with correct tail carriage. Presented in clean condition with plenty of coat. A nice youngster and pleased to award her BOB and BP & Puppy group 3. 

2nd Simpson SIMBERGER FIRE IN MY BELLY 

7 month old dog, scissor bite. Clean dark eye. Well off for bone. Front well constructed. Lacked angulation in the rear which affected his top line today. Very raw which showed in his movement. Presented in good coat condition.

2 year old bitch, scissor bite. Clean eye of good shape and colour. Head of good proportions, would like more reach of neck to complete picture. Level top line which was maintained on the move. Well boned throughout with tidy feet. Carrying a little extra weight today. Steady mover covering the ground well. RBOB

Young male Rottweiler, correct bite. Clean eye of dark colour. Head developing well with clean muzzle. Good reach of neck onto well laid shoulders. Well boned throughout with tidy feet. Shown in top condition, covered the ground with powerful drive. Tail carried slightly high but didn’t detract from overall picture. An exciting youngster. 

2nd Kichenside DELTAROTT DIN DJARIN 

Another pleasing young male Rottweiler, scissor bit, eyes dark and of good shape. Broad in skull. 

Well boned throughout with tidy feet. Lots to like about this youngster. Covered the ground with drive and worked well with handler to get the best from him.

2 year old PWD black bitch, scissor bite. Dark eye of good shape with clean muzzle. Presented well. Well angled throughout with strong loin to support top line. Steady mover, covering the ground with effortless action with good head and tail carriage. 

2nd Lawrence, Lawrence & Ellis FALKOR POETRY IN MOTION

2 year old German Pinscher bitch, scissor bite. Another lovely example. Pleasing head piece, good reach of neck and well angled throughout. Firm top line, maintained on the move. Tail carried well. Effortless action, could easily swap places with one on another day.

5 year old male Rottweiler, in his prime. Impressive dog throughout, masculine head without being over done. Scissor bite, eye clean. Strong muscular neck, well boned with correct feet. Strong top line and correct tail carriage. Working well with his handler to get the best from him, covering the ground with drive. Pleased to award him Best AVNSC and Working Group 1. 

2nd Allen JODIPAS VALEN TIME (AI) JW ShCEx OSW

3 year old Rottweiler bitch, scissor bite. Head developed well, not carrying her ears well today which detracted from expression. Good reach of neck, well angled fore and after. Ample bone for size with good depth to chest. Top line level and maintained on the move, covered the ground with drive. In slightly soft condition today.

Strong neck leading onto well laid shoulders. Well boned or size, tidy feet. Strong top line which he maintained at all times. Tail carried well. Came into his own on the move where he covers the ground with effortless action. 

2nd Cruttenden & Pointer NATIVESPIRIT’S LEGACY

Another 7 year old side of different type to one but plenty of quality. Scissor bite, clean eye, ears carried well. Good reach of neck, well angled throughout with firm loin to support top line. Tail carried well. Lacked drive on the move today, potentially not enjoying the surface but another dog with lots to like about him.

Chest well developed. Fantastic bone throughout with tight feet. Level top line, maintained on the move with correct tail set and carriage. Shown in fantastic coat.

11 month old Siberian Husky dog, scissor bite. Ears well set to complete expression. Good reach to neck, well angled throughout with firm top line. Ample bone for size, with tidy feet. Came into his own on the move, covering the ground with effortless action working with handler. Pleased to hear he went on to win RBPIS. Pet name was still making me laugh on the journey home! 

2nd Moore & James STARNEWF MR DARK SKY 

9 month old black Newfoundland male. Dark eye of good shape, head developing well giving typical expression. Well boned throughout with large tight feet. Presented in fantastic condition and working well with handler.

Irish Water Spaniel, 6 months old, recently judged her at and she is still as eye catching today as she was 2 weeks ago. Comes into her own on the move where she covers the ground with effortless action and pleased to award her overall Best Vulnerable Native Breed, an exciting youngster who I will follow with interest. 

2nd Harman BOIMANS GREAT EXPECTATIONS 

11 month old ETT bitch, scissor bite, ears carried well. Good reach of neck with well laid shoulders. Compact in body, with clean lines throughout. Handled well to get the best out of her, another fantastic mover.

English Setter bitch, scissor bite. Clean headpiece with correct plains. Good reach of neck onto well laid shoulders. Tidy feet. Presented well to get the best out of her, moved well covering the ground with effortless action. 

2nd Horler, Horler, Sandiford & Sandiford HERNWOOD BLEU SPIRIT TO RACKENS 

Gorden Setter, scissor bite, loved his headpiece and expression, good reach of neck, well angulated throughout with tidy feet. Developing well in all aspects and a dog I will follow with interest. Moved well, covering the ground with effortless drive.

Bearded Collie bitch, scissor bite. Clean eye of good shape. Well boned throughout. Level top line which was maintained on the move. Presented in top condition and working well with handler. Slightly unsettled on the move at times.

2 year old ETT bitch, scissor bite. So much to like about this girl, really now coming into her prime. Well constructed throughout which shows in her effortless action. Working well with handler to get the most from her. A real advocate for the breed.

Eye catching Irish Terrier male, scissor bite, dark eye. Ears set well to complete expression. Good reach to neck. Well constructed male throughout with firm top line and presented in top condition. Sounder mover covering the ground with effortless action. Just my cup of tea!
