Thank you to the society for invitation to just BIS at your show. Judging the BIS and BPIS bodes well for the future with some incredibly exciting prospects for their retrospective breeds. I wish I had more places to hand out as I was truly spoilt for choice. The BPIS was a joy to judge with some super examples of their breeds and no doubt will go on to do well in their showing career.
Italian Greyhound
Junior (1,0)
1 - HAGUE, Ms L J - Bartondax Lumi - 17 month old bitch who is a little unsure of herself on the move. She is of good size. Elongated skull with enough width. Ears are set well and of good shape. Eyes are of good shape size and colour set well in head. Little heavier in bone than preferred. Chest is still developing well. Good length of neck into a long sloping shoulder and a good return of upper arm. Topline good on stand with the rise over loin to a low tail set of good length. Angles in rear have a good turn of stifle and well let down hocks. Just needs to gain confidence on the move to really get the best out of herself.

1 - PENDLEBURY, Mrs C - Raising Venus Du Zephyr De Bizance Pendlethrine. 4 year old with a long lean head of good proportions. Lovely eyes set well. Ears ok. Good for bone. Front assembly ok, would like a more lay to the shoulder which would help with the lift and reach on the move. Lovely length to neck with a deep chest. Topline is very shapely with a low set tail. Rear angles ok but muscled well. On the move a little wide in rear movement.

1 - HAGUE, Ms L J - Ristretto Super Charty At Laborghini (Imp Pol). 22 month old dog who I wouldn’t want any bigger. A masculine head with good muzzle to skull ratio and enough width to skull. Ears set ok of good shape. Eyes placed well in head and of good shape. Front assembly positive with a good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm, straight front and good for bone. Would like a little more length on feet. Lovely reach of neck. Topline firm with good length to loin. Chest deep. Rear angles has a good turn of stifle and let down hocks muscled well. Good rear drive and enough reach and lift in front. BOB.

1 - HEWITT, Miss Catherine & HEWITT, Mrs B - Ymar Tamborine Man. A pleasing shape and size to this 9 month old red dog. Just needs to settle into his frame as he develops. Good muzzle to skull ratio with good width to skull. Lovely dark oval eyes placed well in head. Ears are small and erect set well finishing the cheeky expression. Forequarters well constructed with a good lay of shoulder and good for bone stood on cat like feet. Sloping Topline to rear which has a high tail set carried well. Muscled well in rear with a good turn of stifle and let down hocks. On the move there is a positive drive in rear, just needs to tighten in front.

2 - PARK, Mrs J A - Rayjen Rum And Raisin. What an enthusiastic young man this Black and Tan boy is. He really did give his handler a harder time. Pleasing shape to head. Good width to skull and ears are set well on skull. Eyes have a wicked expression. Would like a slightly better mouth with a less prominent chin. Good length to neck with a good front assembly. Straight front with good bone throughout. On the stand this boy has a good Topline with a super tail set which is held well. Chest has a good depth and spring of ribs. Rear has a good turn of stifle with muscular thighs and well let down parallel hocks. On the move there is a strong drive from rear just needs to settle in order to gain that front action and maintain topline.

2 - HINCHLIFFE, Mrs Samantha - Keniateen High Class. Pleasing size to this 7 year old Black and Tan dog. Masculine headpiece without being coarse. Would like a fraction more length in muzzle to balance the headpiece, that said it has good width with small high set ears. Lovely length to neck with a good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Straight front with good bone stood on strong patterns and cat like feet. Preferred the topline on 1. Super tail set which is carried well at all times. Rear angles ok. On the move had a lovely lift in front just needs a little more drive in rear.

1 - WATKINS, Ms Tereza - Ch Hawksflight American Jazz Jw. 2 year old red dog who is good for shape and size and very much the showman and gives everything to his handler. Lovely masculine headpiece without being overdone. good muzzle to skull ratio. Dark oval eyes set well in head. Ears are set well but would ideally like them a fraction small to really finish the headpiece. Lovely neck into shoulders that have enough lay and return of upper arm. Straight parallel front of good bone. Firm Topline which slopes to rear finishes with a good tail set. Chest developed well with a good spring of rib. Rear has a good turn of stifle well muscled thighs and parallel let down hocks. On the move this boy has a super hackney action but just needs to control the speed as he can get a little untidy in rear. Pleased to award BOB
2 - HEWITT, Miss Catherine & HEWITT, Mrs B - Ch Adurus Sundance Kid For Catamyrann Jw. Another that carries his title well. Heavier boned than 1 but presents a lovely shape. A well proportioned, masculine headpiece with ears that are of good shape and size set well on skull. Eyes are a lovely oval shape and dark in colour and good under fill. Neck is strong and leads into well constructed forequarters. Well laid shoulders, elbows close to a well filled chest and straight parallel front. Topline slopes to an equally well constructed rear with a good turn of stifle and well let down hocks and muscled well throughout. Another exhibit who is quite the showman and on the move he is powerful in the rear with a good parallel drive, just not as co-ordinated in front as 1.

I could have placed these 2 puppies differently but today I preferred the rear drive on 1.
1 - MORLEY, Miss E - Londer Black Infinity At Lizlanmor. A lovely black 11 month old dog who really appealed for size, shape and weight. Lovely flat skull with good width and depth. Ears are a good shape and set well on skull. Lovely dark round eyes. Good length to muzzle with wide open nostrils. Super width to underjaw. Short strong neck leading into well laid shoulders and return of upper arm. Good bow to front and good for bone with feet slight turned out. Topline firm with strong muscular loin. Tail set high of good length and covered well. Angles are good in the rear which is advantageous to him on the move where he displayed a good drive from rear and a good roll throughout.
2 - BLAKEWAY, Ms Heather - Bellablake The Dixie Chick. Close up on 1. Very pretty bitch whose head is still developing. Lovely flat skull with good depth. Ears are level with skull and of good shape and size. Dark round eyes that have a soulful expression. Padded muzzle of good length with wide open nostrils. Good width and strength to underjaw. Neck is strong which flows into well constructed forequarters. Topline level finished with a high set tail furnished well. Rear is muscled well with good angles throughout. Good weight when picked up. On the move she has a great roll just preferred the more positive drive on 1 today. Lovely exhibit nonetheless.

1 - CLIFTON, Mrs Karen - Yakee King Of The Kop. Masculine headpiece being wider than deep. Flat skull with correct shaped leathers of good length furnished well. Lovely dark round eyes set well in skull. Good depth to muzzle with enough cushioning and wide open nostrils. Would like a fraction more width of under jaw. Enough wrinkle. Short neck into well laid shoulders and correct bowed front with good feet. Super width to chest which legs wrap around and elbows close to chest: Lovely topline with a strong loin and a high set tail. Rear is angled well with low set parallel hocks. Good weight when picked up. Moved out with correct roll in front would just like a little more positivity in rear. Presented and handled beautifully.

1 - DRISCOLL, Ms J & ALDRED, Miss M - Rickennys Shelby. 2 year old bitch who has good substance throughout. Feminine headpiece with good proportions. Good width to skull with ears set level and of good length and shape. Eyes are round and dark and set well apart. Muzzle is well cushioned with good depth to muzzle and wide open nostrils. Good width through body. Neck strong and leads into well laid shoulders. Good bow to front. Would like a more level Topline and a higher set tail. Angles in rear good with well let down hocks. Moved out with good drive and enough roll.

1 - LEONARD, Mr Andrew - Ch Lizlanmor King Of Diamonds. What a top drawer exhibit this is who catches the eye from all angles. Both breeders and owners must be incredibly proud of the quality. This dog wears his title with ease and there is no denying he is male. A fabulous headpiece being wide and shallow. Ears are set level of correct shape and size furnished well framing the face well. Gorgeous round dark eyes full of personality. Good depth to muzzle with the unbroken wrinkle. Well cushioned. Where this dog excels is the balance between front and rear angles. His front has well laid shoulders with a good bow which wraps around the chest of good width and drops down with good bone to feet that are positioned correctly. Short neck that leads into a firm Topline strong loin and finished with a high set tail furnished well. Rear has a good turn of stifle, well defined and muscled thighs with parallel low set hocks. Super weight when picked up. Coat presented immaculately being harsh in texture. On the move is where you truly appreciate this male. He is balanced with a correct roll in front and a super drive in rear. BOB and I seriously considered him for BIS but had to settle for BIS 2 behind the Pom.
2 - MORLEY, Miss E - Klerkshof Red Rum At Lizlanmor. 22 month old who has so many great attributes. Wide shallow headpiece with correct proportions. Lovely flat skull with ears of good shape and length fringed well framing the face. Lovely dark round eyes set well apart and has such a soft expression. Good length to muzzle with wide open nostrils and black shiny nose. Just a little heavier on wrinkle than 1. Super width to underjaw and tight lips. Short strong neck that sits well on well laid shoulders with a good return of upper arm. A good bow to front which wraps around a wide chest with elbows close. Super bone and good feet. Lovely level Topline with good waist. High set tail of good length which is plumed well. Rear is very well constructed with a good turn of stifle, super muscle tone with low set parallel hocks. Another presented in immaculate condition with a harsh textured coat. Good typical roll in front, just didn’t quite have the rear drive as 1.

1 - BERRINGTON, Mrs Tina - Divinity On The Rocks. A very smart compact puppy dog who when develops in confidence will push for top honours. Really good for size and weight. A head that is developing really well with good muzzle to skull ratio. Good width to skull with small erect ears set well. Dark eyes that are full of character and set well in head. Short neck which leads into a super front assembly. Good lay of shoulder, straight parallel front of good bone and stood on small compact feet. Chest is developing well. Super Topline which he holds on the stand and move. Tail is set correctly and of good length. Where this boy excels is his rear assembly, good angles throughout and very well muscled for one so young. On the move this boy is brisk with a super rear drive and a lovely reach in front.

1 - SMITH, Ms S - Sueacres Catch A Dream. I have seen this boy walking by at shows and I thought he was super smart so was excited to see him here to day I was certainly not disappointed! When looking in my catalogue he is a repeat mating of my open class winner who I have done well in the past at a club show. I’m sure it won’t be long before he wears his crown as he is a super example of the breed. A masculine head with great muzzle to skull ratio with enough stop. Small erect ears that are placed well on skull. Eyes are dark in colour of good shape and set well in head and full of cheeky expression. Neck short which leads into the cleanest of forequarters. A well laid shoulder with super return of upper arm, elbows close to a deep chest, super bone being parallel and straight and stood on strong Pasterns and compact feet. Short back and well ribbed finished with a high set tail of good length and enough covering. Lovely angles in rear with good muscle tone throughout. Good weight. On the move this little one has power all whilst maintaining balance, level Topline and being brisk around the ring. BOB and I couldn’t take my eyes off him in the BIS line up and ultimately took the top spot as he never put a foot wrong. I will follow his career with great interest.
2 - DEVEAUX, Mr Pete & DEVEAUX, Mrs Janet - Sueacres Quickstep With Pieldi. Bigger in stature than 1. A well put together male who has a masculine headpiece with good muzzle to skull proportions. Small ears that are set well in skull. Lovely eye shape and colour set well in head. Short neck with a good lay of shoulder. Straight parallel front with fine bone and stood on compact feet. Good depth to chest with a level Topline finished with a high set tail covered well. Rear angles are good throughout and muscled well. On the move he was brisk with good reach and drive.

1 - HYNES, Mr Charles - Poshdonpoms Touch Of Angels [ATC 15AB-9F7E-F7E-4473]. This 18 month bitch is of good shape and size. A pretty, feminine headpiece of good size and proportions. Fine muzzle of good length with enough stop. Good width to skull and small neat ears set well. Eyes are a lovely shape and good for colour. Neck is short leading into well laid shoulders and a straight front with fine bone stood on compact feet. Short through back and good length to loin finished with high set tail. Rear is well muscled and angled well. Movement was parallel with a brisk action driving well from rear and enough reach in front.
2 - BERRINGTON, Mrs Tina - Altina's Broadway Baby Of Sarasate. This girl presents a pleasing profile with being compact and good for size. Good through head proportions. Small ears set well on skull. Would like a slightly more oval eye but they’re set well. Good length to muzzle. Shoulders are laid, would like a straighter front. Good depth to chest and well ribbed. Lovely level Topline with a high set tail. Good angles through rear which she uses to power round the ring. Just needs to be a little cleaner in front.

1 - SMITH, Ms S - Ch Sueacres Centre Stage Jw. A lovely male that I have done well previously. He carries his title well, but I feel that his kennel mate will overtake him in the ring. A masculine headpiece with clean proportions. A refined muzzle leading up to the most endearing eyes of good shape and size. Ears are small and set well on head. Short neck leading into a well constructed front with a good lay of shoulder, elbows close to a good depth of chest then perfectly straight legs of good bone under body. Lovely through Topline with short back and well ribbed finished with a high set tail of good length and covered with long hair. Rear angles match the balance in front. Beautifully presented and handled. Moved like a dream just preferred the overall size and compactness of his kennel mate.
2 - PASTUSZKA, Mrs Mollie - Altinas What A Carry On. Feminine 5 year old bitch who was unfortunate to meet 1 today as she too has some lovely qualities to recognise. A well balanced, feminine headpiece with everything where it should be and correct. Her eyes are of great size and shape and are so full of character. Good length to neck leading into a well laid shoulder and straight parallel front and stood of compact feet. Compact through body with a level Topline and a high set well furnished tail. Rear is muscled well. On the move she stays parallel just needs a little more reach and drive.
Jack & Mavis Stacey Memorial Puppy Stakes ( 15,10)
1 - HANCOCK, Mrs C - Coton Karma's Shoot Me Down Bear At Cindaires (Imp Dnk). A striking young Coton De Tulear who presents a great shape with a super coat. Good proportions in head with enough stop to balance the head. Gorgeous dark round eyes which are full of personality. Ears are set well on head of good shape and well covered. Good strength to underjaw. Excellent pigment throughout. Lovely arched neck which leads nicely into a well laid shoulder with a good return of upper arm with elbows close to a developing chest. Good bone throughout. Lovely topline where it rises to a firm, well muscled loin and falls to a low tail set. Tail in correct position both on stand and the move. Good angulation in rear with enough turn of stifle and parallel hocks. Presented and handled beautifully which is advantageous and the rapport between dog and exhibit was so good to watch. On the move this youngster is balanced with a good drive and reach in front all whilst covering the ground.
2 - RUTHERFORD, Miss H & RUTHERFORD, Miss Grace & RUTHERFORD, Mrs Catherine - Rignolla Devon Dreamer With Potbelli. Took a little while for this 10 month old Blenheim King Charles bitch to settle but when she did she moved freely showing drive in rear and reach in front. A lovely feminine headpiece with good dome to skull. Ear set ok of good length and covered well for age. Gorgeous eyes of good size and colour. Good amount of stop. Good width and depth through muzzle with super strength to underjaw and free from lippiness. Good reach to neck leading to well laid shoulders and elbows close to a chest that is developing well. Straight front of good bone and stood on compact feet. Firm through body maintaining Topline and tail is set well extending the Topline. Parallel through rear with good muscle tone.
Dorothy Dearn Memorial Open Stakes (27,11)
1 - KEOWN, Mrs Mandy - Jorgealin Midnight Magic For Kingshaven. A tri colour papillon who could not stand wrong at any time. He has such ring presence and really covered the ground with lots of drive and reach in front all whilst staying light on their feet. Masculine headpiece with skull slightly rounded. Lovely large ears set well on skull with plenty of fringing. Round shaped eyes that are placed low. Fine muzzle of good length with definite stop. Lovely length to neck which leads into sloping shoulders and a good return of upper arm with elbows close to a deep well filled chest. Fine boned throughout with good hare like feet. Spirit level Topline with a high set tail with good plume. Lovely rear with a good turn of stifle and parallel hocks.
2 - SMITH, Miss Wendy - Moltobello Miss Myrtle Of Hulawawas. Close up on 1. I’ve judged this S/C Chihuaha girl before and I am so surprised she has not already achieved her title. She has balanced angles front and back and parallel through movement in all directions with super reach and drive throughout. Gorgeous headpiece with good length to muzzle and correct shaped skull. Ears are set well on skull and are of good size. Lovely large, round eyes that are set well in head. Arched neck leading into to well laid shoulders with legs well under body of good bone and stood on small feet. Super level Topline with good depth to chest and length of loin finished with high set tail carried well at all times. Rear has well muscled thighs with good turn of stifle and let down hocks.
Maurice Bellamy Memorial Veteran Stakes (11,4)
1 - WILSON, Miss D - Alizo Everyone Is Mad Here. Up to height masculine male who present a good overall silhouette and groomed beautifully. Pleasing headpiece with good muzzle to skull ratio and enough stop to balance head. Skull slightly rounded. Ears are set well on skull with leathers of good length framing face well. Dark round eyes with super pigment throughout. Neck is of good length and arched leading into shoulders that have good lay and return of upper arm with elbows close to a well developed chest. Well ribbed with a muscular loin and a good angle through croup. Tail set could be a fraction higher. But carried and covered well. Broad well developed thighs, good turn of stifle and let down hocks. On the move this boy powered round the ring with good reach and drive all whilst maintaining balance and covering the ground.
2 - FARQUHARSON, Mrs Mandy - Shanshal Prince Of Arabia Jw. A handsome Chinese Crested Powder Puff male with a masculine headpiece of good proportions. Elongated slightly rounded skull with good width and depth throughout. Well fringed ears that are of good size and set well on skull. Lovely dark almond shaped eyes which are set well in skull. Correct bite. Good reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders with a good return of upper arm. Elbows close to a broad chest and front is good for bone and straight. Longer than high in body but in great condition with slight tuck up. High set tail. Rear is good for angles with a good turn of stifle and well let down parallel hocks. On the move another that maintained good balance with reach and drive.

4 - WHATELEY, Mr Mark & WHATELEY - Lyckalotte Enzo Ferrari At Arkadian. A dog I have seen a few times and he appears to have balanced out and put on a great performance today to bag BiS 4

I’m sure any of these 4 places will gain their crowns as they are exciting promising youngsters.
1 - CROW, Mrs Donna & WALKER, Mr Peter - Petwalk Breaks The Laws With Casacavallo ( Kcj ) Taf - Chinese Crested. What a smart promising youngster this is: I wrote in my book. “this is a puppy that I would quite happily own and show” he ticked so many boxes and is super balanced for one so young. Didn’t put a foot wrong and I’m sure he has a very promising future ahead!
2 - HORNBY, Mr & Mrs Shelda & Kevin - Bramerita Blooming Gawjus - chihuahua Long Coat. This girl screams femininity with elegance and class. She is super for size and shape with the most appealing headpiece. Balanced angles front and back. Moves with good drive in rear and a lovely clean front action all with the extra bit of sass on the move.
3 - LEONARD, Mr Andrew - Witchstone Nasabe Strikes Back - English Toy Terrier (Black & Tan). This is a striking young man that I’m sure will wear his crown. Loved his wedge shaped headpiece with correct candle flame ears. Lovely topline which rises over loin, has a great angled croup. Muscled well throughout. Moved with a super drive and loved his front action.
