Breed: Russian Black Terrier

Junior Class:

1st. Newton, Mrs L. Lintweed Black Lucian

16 month old male of medium size but developing well for his age. His head still needs to broaden but he has the correct scissor bite, level skull and muzzle, well set ears and a tight dark eye. He has a strong neck leading down to laid back shoulders and a deep enough chest. His topline is level and tail set high on the croup. Rear angulation and well muscled thighs lead to well let down hocks. Legs both front and rear are parallel and on the move he has good reach and drive. Coat presented beautifully.

2nd. Smith, Mr B & Mrs G. Omiant Arthas

12 month old male larger than the first with good bone and width throughout. Flat skull showing signs of broadening correct with his developmental stage. Scissor bite and dark eye with good skin pigmentation. He has a deep chest with good spring of rib. Parallel legs both front and rear when standing. Young and enthusiastic on the move loosing his topline but this will improve with age. Well presented with ample coat.

Post Graduate Class:

1st. Newton, Mrs L. Lintweed Black Betty Boo

16th month old litter sister to Junior winner. Developing head for her age but with flat skull, well placed small ears and correct scissor bite. Tight eye of medium brown and feminine expression. On profile she presents a well balanced outline. A good reach of neck leading into laid back shoulders, chest of good depth meeting elbows and straight front legs. Her rear angulation is good and is well muscled all over. Topline is level and is kept on the move. Movement is free and fluid with the best reach and drive of the day giving her the class win and Best of Breed. Beautifully presented throughout.

2nd. Baldwin, Mr T. Lintweed Black Zamara

2.5 year old bitch well boned with good width through out. Scissor bite and well set small ears are combined with a broad skull and level muzzle. She has well laid back shoulders and depth of chest with spring of rib. Short in loin and tail high set on a sloping croup. Well muscled rear legs with moderate angulation. Was not a tidy on the move as 1st, Well presented.
