Plenty of quality dogs to go over topped off with some super line ups for the top honours

Best In Show - Orchard’s Panspayon Pennyroyale JW – Papillon. A close call between the top 2 as one would hope for at this level. Just 2 days short of her 2nd birthday this young B has so much attitude. Her lovely head with super ears and an attentive expression, her lovely construction and faultless movement propelled her to the top spot today.

Reserve Best In Show – Kibby’s Trimere Taylor Maid at Pinhays JW ShCEx OSW – English Springer Spaniel. Once I had decided that she was in the top 2 it was a case of which spot. On the day, while she showed just as well as she had earlier, I just felt the young Papillon was showing herself off just that little bit better.

Best Puppy In Show –.Carter’s Matley’s Dreamchaser Final Fling with Karmeliann (Imp Can) – Bearded Collie. 11mths and showing beautifully. Presents a lovely picture on the stand, correct through head, well made fore and aft with a lovely level topline. On the move she was true, free and eye-catching.

Reserve Best Puppy In Show – Stirk’s Nyllaup Akoya Pearl for Grakar – Irish Water Spaniel. This young lady continued to take my eye as she had earlier in the day. Unfortunately, she was upset by some unattended dogs barking in their crate which just unsettled her. That said she could not be denied based on her performance throughout the day.

Best Veteran in Show – De Boo’s Enjoy-Pearl VD Vanenblikhoeve (Imp NLD) – Bouvier Des Flandres. This 8yr old won through a lovely lineup of veterans. Liked her overall shape, correct proportions to the head. Well made forequarters, strong bone and deep chest through to a moderate rear. On the move she is free & true with good drive.

Reserve Best Veteran in Show – Webber’s Kaolin Little Miss Sparkle – Airedale Terrier. And sparkle she did. On the stand presenting a lovely outline and on the move, free, true and full of purpose. Lovely long head, well balanced with flat skull. Good length of neck flowing into a short level back. Ribs deep and well sprung. Well muscled rear.

Best Reserve Best of Breed – Hirst’s Sundark Scaramouche – Shetland Sheepdog. A 3yr blue merle D. This young D is quite a showman. Lovely head of good shape and well set and well used ears. Good length of neck into well made forequarters with well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm. Level topline through to a well angled rear. On the move he is a show off, confident, true and free.

1st Amblelight Oleander. 10mth D, lovely type, size and shape. Correct head with dark eyes, good length of neck into well made forequarters with well laid shoulders and return of upper arm. Correct topline over a deep chest. In good coat, Moved steady and true with reach and drive. RBOB & BP
2nd Nyliram Poker Face. 13mth D, longer cast than 1 and would benefit from a little more width across his loin. Pleasing head with dark eye. Well laid shoulders but I would like more return of upper arm. Deep chest and well sprung ribs under a level topline. Moderate rear angles, moved with drive.

1st Roxdale Premier Rose. Pleasing 2yr B with feminine head and dark eyes. Good length of neck into very well laid shoulders, good return of upper arm and nice forechest. I would like a slightly shorter loin but she has a moderate rear and moved well.
2nd Islanzaallure at Karenza. 3yr B, Loved her shape, Feminine head of correct shape with dark eyes. Well laid shoulders and well sprung ribs. Moderately angled rear. Somewhat distracted and not showing well today.

Two very nice but different bitches.
1st Benoveor Endless Love at Rubydown. 4yr Mature B of lovely type and overall shape. Pleasing head with dark eyes and clean neck into super forequarters with well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and forechest. Correct bone and neat feet. Deep ribs of correct spring through a muscular loin to a moderate rear. Moved true with drive. BOB
2nd Roxdale Moody Blue. 2yr B, longer cast than 1 but I preferred her head proportions. Clean neck into well laid shoulders but not the return of upper arm of the winner, correct spring of rib and topline to a moderate rear, another good mover, true with drive.

1st Trendlewood Long Time Comin at Pudleigh JW. 18mth yellow D, what a super youngster. Lovely type and outline, strong and masculine without being overdone, flat skull, defined stop, dark eyes and well set ears. Very well made forequarters with straight front with good bone and neat feet. Level back over deep well-sprung ribs, correct tail set and carriage. Well angled, muscular rear, moved with drive. BOB
2nd Lembas Brooklyn at Mibridge. 8mth Black D and a very promising youngster. Good type with a lovely head, flat skull, well set ears and dark expressive eyes. Super forequarters ahead of deep well-sprung ribs. Good turn of stifle. True steady mover. BP

1st Dreammaker For Tiaja JW (Imp DNK). Well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, good bone although I preferred the feet of 2nd. Level topline over deep well-sprung ribs to a well angled rear. Moved with drive.
2nd Clarisview Primrose. 3yr Yellow B. Longer cast than 1 with a feminine head of good shape and dark eyes with a very attentive expression. Well made forequarters, good bone and neat feet. Deep well sprung ribs under a level back. Moderate rear angles, steady mover.

1st Magnavalleys Moon Dance. 3yr Black B. Lovely shape and type, correct head shape with dark eyes and well set ears. Super forequarters with well laid shoulders, good bone and neat feet. Deep well sprung ribs through s short loin to a well angled rear. Easy true mover.
2nd Champles Golden Syrup. A 4yr yellow B with a pleasing head and dark eye. Well made fore and aft but a little overweight today and sluggish on the move.

Best mover, true showing drive. BP
2nd Polmennor Pandora. Very similar to her sister but slightly smaller. Another of good shape with Feminine head and dark eyes. Good forequarters but not the forechest of her sister. Correct gentle slope to her topline through to a well angulated rear. Another good mover.

1st Henaleas Go West at Teignestuary. Lots to like about this 17mth D. Lovely outline with correct gentle slope, long lean masculine head with dark eyes. Well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, deep chest, good bone and tidy feet. Well angled rear and moving with reach and drive. A straighter coat would complete the picture.
2nd Clonageera Summer Magic. A very nice 12mth B. Feminine head of good shape and dark eyes. well laid shoulders over a deep ribs, good bone and feet. Well angulated rear. Moved well, but not as smooth at the winner.

1st Bridgella's Jubilee Queen JW. 2yr B headed up a nice class. Pleasing B of correct shape, feminine head, long and lean with dark eyes and well set ears. Very well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, good bone and neat feet although nails need a trim. Deep ribs under a gently sloping topline to a well angulated rear. Moved true with drive.
2nd Sheldonite It Takes Two Baby. Liked his overall shape and balance, masculine head with dark eyes, good length of neck to well laid shoulders. Good bone but feet could be tighter. Well angled rear and moved well.

1st Covarney Estee Avec Marzanne JW. 6yr B with a classic outline with a gently sloping topline that won her the class. Correct, long lean head with dark eyes, good length of neck to well laid shoulders and enough return of upper arm. Straight front and neat feet. Deep chest through to a well angled rear. Moves true with reach and drive.
2nd Clonageera Take A Chance JW. 2yr B. Another nice B but tends to present a level topline on the stand. Correct through head with dark eyes, good length of neck to well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, good bone and feet. Deep chest and a well angled rear. Steady mover with drive.
3rd Harreds Dillon of Blaysdell

1st Staratlanta Get A Wiggle On To Marzanne. This 8yr old D won this close class on the final stand. Lovely type, balanced outline of correct shape. Masculine head, long and lean with dark eyes and a noble air. Well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and good forechest. Strong bone and neat feet. Deep ribs under a gently sloping topline. Well set and carried tail over a well angled rear. Super true driving mover. BOB
2nd Bridgella's Don't Push It. 6yr B and another with a correct outline. Feminine head with dark eyes. Straight front, well laid shoulders and a good return of upper arm giving forechest. Gently sloping topline over deep cribs. A well angled rear used well on the move. RBOB

1st Crimicar Blu Diamond. Just 12mths this blue roan B presented a lovely outline with a super head of correct shape & proportions with dark eyes and correct stop. Clean neck into very well made forequarters with well laid shoulders and nice forechest. Deep well sprung ribs under a level topline through a short loin to a correctly angled rear. Moved so true with good drive and plenty of attitude.
2nd Grandtully Biddy Ford. 11mth Liver B, another quality B with a lovely soft feminine head of correct shape and proportions, distinct stop and dark eyes. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, good bone & feet. Deep well sprung ribs, short loin and a well angulated rear. BP & Puppy Group 3

1st Albertean Minerva JW. A very smart 21mth blue roan B. Super youngster with feminine head of correct shape, dark eyes and distinct stop and low set ears. Very well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, deep well-sprung ribs under a super level topline to a well set tail. Another lovely mover, true with good drive and looking happy. 1st Stowledge Scilla at Incantevole. 10mth B presenting a correct square outline. Feminine head of correct shape and planes. Clean through neck into well laid shoulders, good return of upper arm and straight front. Deep well sprung ribs under a correct topline. Deep loin. Would like more bend of stifle. True easy mover. 2nd Tolosa Provolone. 2yr B, another of good overall shape and balance Pleasing head with correct planes. Well laid shoulders but not the return of upper arm, good bone and feet. Deep well sprung ribs and deep loin under a good topline to a moderate rear. Moved well, but not as confident as the winner today.

Deep, well sprung ribs under a level topline to a moderately angulated rear. On the move she is a joy to watch, reach, drive, true fore and aft. In good coat and kept taking my eye today. 2nd. Teignvalley New Beginnings JW. A stylish, masculine, 18mth black & white D. Well shaped head with dark eyes and well set ears. Clean neck to lovely forequarters with well laid shoulders & return of upper arm, good forechest, straight front. Well sprung ribs of good depth. Handler can tend to over extend him on the stand which gives him a sloping topline. Moves true with good drive.

2nd Heartwood Mishules All Is Possible with Calico (Imp USA). 2yr tri B with a lovely feminine head of good shape. Lovely shoulders and return of upper arm giving forechest, broad deep ribs and deep loin. Carrying a few extra pounds today. Moderate rear, moved ok.

1st Keigamie Mystique Aurora. 12mths B presenting a nice square balanced outline. Clean head of correct proportions, dark eyes and well set ears. Clean neck into well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, straight front with good bone and feet. Deep chest well sprung and ribbed back to a short loin. Moderately angulated rear with correct tailset. Smooth, easy, true mover with drive. RBOB & BP

2nd Winterwell Starry Night At Mylanuka (AI). Just 6mths and different in type to the winner but a very promising youngster with lovely clean lines. Pleasing head with dark hazel eyes and well set ears and a very inquisitive expression. Well made forequarters with good bone and straight front. Body developing, good rear angles. Moved well.

Lovely head with dark hazel eyes and well set ears, clean arched neck into muscular, well laid shoulders, good return of upper arm and showing forechest. Straight front with good feet and pasterns. Chest deep with slight rise to loin, topline level to a muscular, moderately angled rear. Powerful, true driving mover. BOB

2nd Brightmeadow Wish Come True at Dreamcurl. A pretty, feminine, 18 mth black B, not as mature as her brother. Pleasing head and neck into well laid shoulders but not the return of upper arm. Good depth of chest. Tends to arch her topline on the stand. Nice coat with tight curls. Moved ok once settled.

Short neck to lovely forequarters with well laid shoulders, straight, well boned front with round feet, good depth of chest and well sprung ribs through to a moderate rear. 1st Nyllaup Akoya Pearl for Grakar - Irish Water Spaniel. What a stunning 9mth B. Presents herself with such confidence and attitude. Lovely head with correct shape, dark eyes and lovely ears. Strong neck into super forequarters with well laid shoulders, straight well boned legs. Deep ribs carried well back to a deep loin under a super level topline. A well angled rear completed the picture on the stand. Moving she is a joy to watch, true free with reach and drive. A rising star. RBAVNSC, BP, Gundog Puppy Group 1 & Reserve Best Puppy in Show.
2nd Crumbledor Cedric Diggory - Sussex Spaniel. 19mth D. Pleasing head and short strong neck into well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm. Strong bone and straight front. Deep well sprung ribs, ribbed well back to a deep loin and a moderately angled rear. Moved true and steady.
3rd. Maliik Team Del Crepo Imp SRB - Brittany.

1st Sh Ch Bonapartist Peaky Blinder Avec Aukskara - Brittany. 5yr orange & white D presenting a lovely outline on the stand. Typey head of correct proportions with dark expressive eyes and a cheeky look. Strong muscular neck into lovely forequarters with correct moderate front angulation with nice forechest. Straight front and neat feet. Deep well sprung ribs under a very gently sloping topline through to a moderately angled rear. Super typey mover. BAVNSC & Gundog Group 3.

2nd Highforce Future Legend for Vizslanya JW ShCEx VW – Hungarian Vizsla. 9yr D with lovely type and substance. Good shape and proportions to head with nice breadth of skull and dark eyes. Lovely forequarters with well laid shoulders and good forechest. Correct spring of rib and depth of chest under a level topline. Correct rear angles and another who can move with ease.
