Midland Doberman Club

The Midland Dobermann Club

8 June 2025

Thank you to the committee for the honour of judging your club show and their hospitality, and to the exhibitors for a lovely entry. Such a shame the venue had double booked and we didn’t have use of the field. However, that did not detract much although I am sure the dogs would have moved better outside.

Pleased with my winners and some lovely dogs throughout the classes. A couple did not settle well with runners

Minor Puppy Dog

1st Hickling & Hemmings’ Evalesco’s Shade Of Class. Loved the shape of this 8mth black D. Correct head shape with lovely dark eyes and high set ears. Strong neck into well laid shoulders with good return of upper arm and showing forechest. Chest reaching to elbow. Gentle slope to topline and correctly angulated rear. True and steady on the move.
2nd Ingram’s Jojavik Assassin’s Code. 7mth and built on finer lines than my winner. Lovely head of good shape with dark eyes. Well made forequarters with lovely forechest, straight front and neat feet. Deep chest and loin, just needs to strengthen in topline. Moved true and free.
