1st Mitchell’s Bordabears Strikin Liaison. 3yr B of super shape and outline. Feminine head with dark eyes, well set ears and a defined stop. Good length of neck into a level topline. Well made forequarters with good return of upper arm, nice amount of bone and tidy feet. Short loin to a well angulated rear. On the move she is true with drive, correct head and tail carriage. BOB

1st Mitchell’s Bordabears Strike It Hot. 3yr D and litter brother to my BOB. A masculine version of his sister with a pleasing head shape, defined stop and well set ears. I would prefer a darker eye. Well made forequarters but not the forechest of his sister. Correct rear angles and level topline held on the move, good head carriage but tail a little low. RBOB

1st Fowler & Mancey’s Toptune Angeleyes. 4yr B of good shape and proportions, lovely head with dark eyes, slight stop, high set, erect ears. Good through her forequarters with well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, deep ribs back to a short loin and a correctly angulated rear. So typey on the move, true all round. BOB

1st Ross’ Siluto Blue Wizzard at Amberwish. 2yr blue merle D. Masculine and refined, good shape to his head, slight stop and well set, mobile ears. Well made forequarters with well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm, deep chest and straight front. Well angled rear and carrying a good coat. Animated on the move, true fore and aft and showing reach and drive. BOB
2nd Whitaker’s Siluto Blueberry Mist JW. Litter sister to 1st and very similar, just in a smaller package. Super head and ears, good length of neck to well made forequarters and a deep chest, short loin to a well angled rear. Left her coat at home today. Another good mover.

1st Whitaker’s Siluto Silvary Blue Moon. 2yr blue merle B and another sibling to my PG 1 & 2. Another lovely head of good shape and proportions with well set and well used ears and dark eyers. Super forequarters with good forechest and neat feet. Correct topline to a well angled rear. Another lovely mover, true with drive and a correctly carried tail. RBOB
2nd Rose’s Uffspring Ultravox for Coloratura. 6yr Tri B. Another well made B with good head shape and lovely dark eyes. Well made fore and aft and carrying a good coat. Rather lazy on the move but true.

1st Atkin’s Esstremere Diamond Lady. 6mth blue merle B and what a sweetie. Lovely head shape with slight stop, dark eyes and well tipped ears. Well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, well sprung ribs, good bone and neat feet. A steady mover, true fore and aft with good reach and drive. One to watch.

1st Walker & Jeavon’s Tooralie’s Vanity Pays. 11mth blue merle B. Took my eye for her size and shape. Feminine with a good head with well set and well tipped ears. Very well made forequarters with well laid shoulders and return of upper arm. Deep chest under a level back with a slight rise over the rear. Super mover, true with drive and lots of attitude. BOB & BP
2nd Sorocky’s Sheltisha The One And Only. Just 8 mths this blue merle D is another promising youngster. Super head and ears, well made forequarters, deep ribs, good rear angles. True steady mover just not the confidence on the winner.

1st Fenton’s Shannmie’s Cartier. 2yr Tri D. Loved his shape and type, good shape to head with dark eyes and good ears. Lovely forequarters with well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm ahead of deep ribs, short loin to a well angled rear. Best mover.
2nd Greenwood’s Esstremere Easy Rider. 3yr blue merle D of good overall shape. Pleasing head and lovely ears. Well made forequarters and a correct rear. Good mover, true with drive

1st Atkin’s Esstremere Lady Isobel. 4yr tri B who won this close class on her super forequarters. Feminine all through, lovely head with dark eyes and nice ears. Super forequarters with well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, deep ribs through to a well angled rear. Best mover, true with drive and attitude.
2nd Sorocky’s Ch Sheltisha Royal Approval. 3yr blue merle B. Another lovely B, good head with well set ears, nicely tipped. Well made forequarters, deep ribs through to a correct rear. Not as fluid on the move but showing enough reach and drive.

1st Williams’ Shadowshack All Breeze – White Swiss Shepherd Dog. 4yr B. Liked her balance and outline. Lovely head and ears with dark eyes, so well made fore and aft with well laid shoulders good return of upper arm giving some forechest with good bone and feet. Deep well sprung ribs through to a well angulated rear. Super mover, true, easy with good reach and drive. Shame she didn’t stay for the group.

1st Clark’s Aateli Koira Vakker Yuna at Lumenico (Imp Fra) – 17mth Finnish Lapphund. Lovely type and size with a feminine head of correct proportions and dark eyes. Super forequarters with well laid shoulders and forechest, good bone & feet. Deep ribs, moderately sprung to a correct, moderately angulated rear. Lovely free mover, true with correct reach and drive.

2nd Bailey & Hancocks’ Parabar Pistachio – 12mth Lancashire Heeler. Masculine liver & tan D. Pleasing head with flat skull & hazel eyes. Well laid shoulders and return of upper arm giving forechest, level back over well sprung ribs. Moderate rear, well muscled, moved well.

1st Roper’s Twinan Raise Your Game JW – 23mth Welsh Corgi (Pembroke). What a lovely young B. Liked her outline, nice head and ears, hazel eyes blending nicely with her coat. Super forequarters with lots of forechest, level back over well sprung ribs to a well angulated rear. Moved true with drive and attitude.

1st Brett’s Ch Goldmali Over The Rainbow – 8yr Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois). My notes start with ‘Oh wow’. Super type and shape, this young lady belies her years. Correct through head with lovely dark eyes and super ears. Muscular neck to very well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and lovely straight bone with neat tight feet. Correct spring and depth of rib to a well muscled and moderately angulated rear. On the move she is a joy to watch, so true from all angles, light and brisk with correct reach and drive. She ticked all the boxes for me to win Best AVNSC, Best Pastoral Veteran and Pastoral Group 2
2nd Howsam’s Melleonars Keep It Cool Branston at Jandoes (Imp Deu) JW – 23 mth Old English Sheepdog. Another super exhibit of lovely shape and size under a good coat. Well shaped head of good breadth with dark eyes and small ears. Well made forequarters and good bone. Deep well sprung ribs through a short loin to a moderate rear. Just not as precise on the move as the winner. Reserve Best AVNSC

2nd Jay’s Talraz Gift of Gold – Bearded Collie. 8yrs and what a super B. Head of good shape with lovely expressive eyes. Well made forequarters, good bone and feet. Deep ribs under a level back, good rear angles and carrying a lovely coat. Another super mover, true fore and aft with good drive and correct tail carriage.

Group 1 Hutchcroft’s Allmark One of These Days – Australian Shepherd. 5yr black tri D. Won through in a very close group. Typey D with a lovely head of good shape and expressive eyes. Super forequarters with well laid shoulders and return of upper arm giving forechest. Good bone and feet. Deep well sprung ribs through to a well angulated and well muscled rear. Super true mover with correct moderate drive.

Puppy Group 2 Jay’sTalraz Midnight Lady – Bearded Collie. Just 6mths. A very nice youngster but rather ‘bouncy’ on the move.
