SAC classes

I would like to thank everyone who stayed behind and bought their lovely Smooth Collies for me to go over, the quality was exceptional and all could do a great days work no problem. I would also like to thank the committee for giving me the opportunity to judge the Smooth Collie SAC classes. As I said these collies were very high quality and the decisions on the day were very hard.

Special Award Puppy Dog or Bitch

1. Wensley’s BLAMORDER STARSTRUCK 8 month old sable and white girl and I cannot agree more with her name, She is wonderful and would love to see her fully grown. She has the sweetest expression with lovely dark almond obliquely set eyes. Her head has lovely parallel lines and a nice scissor bite upon examining her mouth. Good ear set with 1/3 tip at the top. Good length of neck and slope of shoulder, slight rise over loin and excellent rear angulation which allowed her to move with drive and purpose.

Special Award Post Graduate Dog or Bitch

1. Rodgers BLAMORDER HIGH BROW WITH JERDONI 4 year old tricolour girl who is very feminine. She has a good, shaped head, with lovely lines and a lovely oblique dark eye. She has lovely slope of shoulder and well sprung ribs. Her topline is nice and level and well-muscled and good rear angulation which enabled her to move well. She is very nicely balanced creating a pleasing shape.

2. Rundle’s SHULUNE IMPERIAL BONNY BLU 23 month old blue merle girl. Extremely close with this one to my winner as there is a lot to like with this lovely young lady. She has a good head shape and very feminine with a nice eye set. Nice jawline and scissor bite. She is a lovely blue colour and look forward to seeing her growing up. She moved well.

3. Seager’s BLAMORDER SCALE FORCE WITH FREEJACK

Special Award Open Dog or Bitch

1. Seager’s BLAMORDER MAGIC MAKER WITH FREEJACK JW almost 3 year old sable and white boy who is all male. My notes start with the words WOW. This boy is of good size with a very masculine wedge shaped head. He has nice well placed ears and very nice almond dark eyes. He is muscular with level topline and slight rise over loin. This boy can move! He would have no problem doing a full day’s work and has good angulation throughout.

2. Rodger’s BLAMORDER MISCHIEF MAKER WITH JERDONI almost 3 old sable and white boy who I was interested to learn is a full brother to my winner. He has a lovely expression enhanced by his lovely dark almond eyes. He moved well with good angulation and nice ground coverage.
