Miniature Poodle

Graduate

1st Wightman's, Highsummer Delta. 17 Month old girl. Correct head with lovely dark eye matching coat, alert in expression. I have a feeling nothing would miss her attention. Elegant and lovely temperament. She has a lovely neck into shoulders. Fore chest bone. I can see she has a little more maturing to do in depth of chest and that will come with age. On the move she held a fab top line, with that proud carriage you would expect a poodle to have. Her coat texture was crisp and thick and groomed to perfection. Correct size. Pleased to award BOB

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Junior

1st Linton's, Thekops Si Sinor. Black and Tan. Free stood perfectly showing off his outline. When I got my hands on him he did not disappoint. Correct bite with jaws strong, head scull round and flat between ears, his head with good nose length, and kind dark eyes. Good coat and feathering on legs. Correct tan markings. Good neck into shoulder which flowed into a good top line on the move. Good depth of chest, and hocks true at the back. Happy on the move.

2nd Miss L Linton's, Thekop's you little charmer. Blenham in colour, this enthusiastic youngster needs some more ring craft, but I would rather have a happy dog like this, than one not so happy. Very friendly, sweet expression, longer length of nose that of 1, good open nostrils, ears set high and good hair coverage, neck into shoulder and top line could be seen, stood freely. Hard to assess movement due to being so enthusiastic. BP

 Post Graduate

1st Hood's, Rabymar New York. Movement won this dog the class as he went around the ring. Lovely typical cavalier head piece with kind eye, dark in colour. Lovely high set ears with hair coverage. Lovely neck and shoulders, with correct top line on the move. Moved true fore and aft. In the challenge he held his tail little higher but it was a close call. Wished there was a RBOB award as he would have got it.

2nd Eccle's, Llapsttam get knotted JW. More coat than exhibit 1, well groomed Black and Tan colour. Moved well with good top line, good fore chest and depth of chest. On the up and down just missed out as he swing his back end out. Super outline when stood, with level top line. Another very good dog.

 3rd  Kynaston's, Granasil Ovaltine JW.

Open

1st Walker's, Stavonga Sky walker Kayceekay JW OSW ShCEx. Wow soon as this dog entered the ring I knew what a quality dog this was and he did not disappoint. Coat Blenham and well marked. Groomed perfectly. Started at head and this round head but flat between ears, and eyes nice and dark with no whites showing, nice length of nose with good open nostrils, kind expression. Good neck into shoulders, with straight front legs, with just right feathering on the legs. Depth of chest and held good top line on the move, and moved happily and freely. Good turn of stifle. Moved correctly up and down. A dog in his prime and happy to be enjoying his day out. Pleased to award BOB and he also got G3

PUG

Puppy

1st Attwood & Taylor's, Taftazini Fluffy Ruffles. What a quality. youngster which was alert and enjoying his day out. Everything to like about this dog. He stood square, looking cobby. From the front he has fore chest bone, and straight front legs with super feet. His expression is alert, with black eyes, good nostrils, and correct button ears. His head just the right size going into strong neck into shoulders. Double curl to tail. With a level top line on the move. He has good turn of stifle into straight hocks. Stood naturally and on movement he did not disappoint. He powers off around the ring. Lovely to see a Pug with such good movement and he will only get better. BP

Junior Same exhibit as puppy.

Post Graduate

1st Cairn's, Anzhela scent Francis JW. Smart little pug who powered around the ring. Loved the size. When stood was square on all fours, looking alert with expression. Good nostrils, ear shape and front. Hocks with good turn of stifle. Square appearance. Single curl in tail. This pug held good top line when stood freely, and moved.

2nd Walker's, Afterglow Wild West hero at Sunlea JW. Again another lovely exhibit which could swap places any day with 1. Good colour to coat, alert expression, looking at the front correct legs straight. Head so typical of the breed, with button ears, good nostrils. Fawn colour. Strong neck and side profile square, This dog stood more patient in the line up than 1, but just tended to hold tense in the back, but on movement did not. Single curl to tail.

 Open

1st Turnbull's, Nicobri's Lord of the rings JW. Everything I was looking for was in this dog!. This super boy won on the movement of the day as he drove around the ring. Mature but not too course. Lovely outline, cobby. Lovely coat colour fawn, double curl to tail. Stood perfectly on all fours and presented a lovely picture. He has a lovely kind expression and very alert with button ears, dark eye, good dark mask. Feet nice and cat like, depth of chest and presented a square outline. Pleased to award him BOB

2nd Walker's, Afterglow Able Mable of Sunlea JW. This lovely girl could swap places with 1 any day. She stood well on all fours. Her face with that alert pug expression, beautiful with button ears. You could see she was a girl. Moved well but less confident than winner, because she got unsettled by a dog on the outside of the ring. But as I could see this I dismissed any unsettled behaviour. She held top line on the move. Good turn of stifle and true hocks. Lovely girl.

3rd Urwin's, Sunlea Legend of the sword for Aneeva JW.

 GERMAN WIRE HAIRED POINTER

 Graduate

1st Cox's, Ida Vom Holstef At Ovetil. Excellent wire coat with pleasing head shape, with a lovely beard which captures the lovely expression to the breed. Good eye colour. Depth of brisket okay and lacks a little fore chest, but that should come with maturity. Excellent top line, turn of croup to well held tail set. Back angles correct. Do not over stretch when standing as can tend to loose top line.

Open class

1st Cox's, ijildex vom holster at Overtil. Bigger dog but balanced through out. Lovely head piece and again that kind expression with that lovely beard and kind eye. Ear set correct. Neck into shoulder with laid back withers and top line held on the move. Again over stretched a bit, as leaning. Has good turn of stifle and let down hocks. Moved out well and handler kept pace with him very well. BOB.

 AMERICAN COCKERS

1st Morris's, Mycalleys itsallaboutmeme. Stood alone in this class but what a quality exhibit. Coat was to perfection, and what a super girl. She had a chiselled head piece, ears set on line of eyes, with lovely dark eyes, correct nose colour, and long neck into shoulder, the top line with that slight slant to tail. Under that coat she did not disappoint with correct depth of chest, fore chest and bend of stifle. Drove from her rear as she went around the ring and presented such a beautiful picture. BP and PG2

 Post Graduate

1st Morris's, Mycalleys Sirocco JW. Black and Tan with little tan markings. Good lively expression and alert, head shape so typical of the breed, with lovely dark nose and eyes. Lovely male head. Long neck into shoulders, and that correct top line on the move. Had a lot of coat again groomed to perfection, when I got my hands on again did not disappoint. Excellent drive.

1st Morris & Jefferson's, Mycalleys Koko JW. In all the dogs I judged today this is the one I would have took home. Wow! You could not deny this girl BOB. Black girl with coated perfection, she had a pleasing head shape, kind eye, rounded scull and median line with chiselling under the eyes. Muzzle deep and square. Correct bite. Lovely dark eyes and nose colour. She had again long neck into shoulders. Top line slightly slanted on move. When I got past her coat you could feel everything correctly from fore chest bone to depth of chest, long rib and turn of stifle, hocks true at back. When it came to movement she drove around the ring pushing off from her rear. Handled to perfection. So pleased to award her BOB.

Neck flowers into shoulder with good top line on the move. Front and back movement true. She was little less entussasic on the move at times but I could not deny her BOB with her just so balanced outline.

2nd Mann's, Elfrindew Kendrick to Valger ShCex. This super dog was larger framed than winner. Quite different in shape. But he had enthusiastic movement and steady on the move. They could change places so easily. He had a lovely head piece, with kind eye and expression. Had excellent fore chest and depth of chest, top line held on the move. Straight legs when viewed from front and good nail length. He was long in the rib but also loin a little long. He did power around the ring and I nearly gave it to him but he just swung his back end out little at times.. I just preferred moderation of 1.
