Thank you kindly to the society for this invitation to judge Pugs today. Despite a lower entry,I have a lovely day time. I must also give a mention to my excellent steward Helen whom was doing a great job for the toy ring.

1st Afterglow Wild West Hero At Sunlee j.w.

Very nice fawn male of 1 and ½ years old, maturing just lovely. Very attentive boy to handler throughout showing a super outline on the stand. Nice strong head, square and blunt in muzzle with good width to lower jaw. Black nose pigment with open nostrils. Large dark eyes and correct ear placement, small and soft to the touch. Strong in body with depth to forchest. Level in topline maintained and tight high set tail. Strong bone to straight legs, moving level and freely.

Pretty, feminine bitch of 2 and ½ years old. Another lovely outlined shape. Fawn in colour. Pretty features on a square head piece. Nice dark ,expressive eyes. Small and velvet like ears of correct placement. Blunt and short muzzle with fairly strong lower jaw. Black nose with good open nostrils. Strong arched neck with depth to forchest. Level in back, well rounded in body, short with good spring of rib. Tail tightly curled and set on high. Strong in legs with good muscle tone. Moving she did so with ease as she glided freely on the move reaching straight in front and pushing off from behind. Awarded Reserve Best Of Breed.

Miss Atomic Bomb

Fawn bitch aged 4 years old, smaller girl but well put together. Another of nice outline on view. Feminine head piece, square with strong blunt muzzle, nose with open nostrils and black pigment. Large dark eyes rounded, ears small placed high on. Short, yet strong neck flowing down to a level topline and high set tightly curled tail. Body nicely rounded, cobby with good spring of rib. Strong in leg bone moving level and straight.

Wow this bitch caught my eye as soon as seen. Fabulously shaped outline maintaining level and confident posture. Feminine head piece but she means business! Well placed small ears, large dark rounded eyes which sparkled. Short and blunt in muzzle, wide lower jaw. Nose wide open nostrils with good black pigment. Strong and short in neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Nice and strong forchest, level in topline on a short and cobby body with good spring of ribs. Tail set high on and tightly curled. Good muscle tone in rear with strong legs pushing off from behind and reaching with drive in front. Moved with ease throughout. Delighted to hear she took Toy Group 1!! Very nice female and well done.

Sunlea Ledgend Of The Sword For Aneeva j.w.

Super handsome male of 7 years old. A delightful older boy, still showing a good outline to his shape. Very nice in head, square and masculine. Ears small and velvet like. Dark eyes showing good attentiveness. Some frosting to his face but doesn’t take away his sweet, gentleman like features. Another in good outline on view. Strong in neck flowing to level top line, well rounded spring of rib, short and cobby body. Tail held high and tightly curled. Straight in legs with good muscle tone. Moved freely in front and drive from behind. Keeping level and sound throughout.
