Southern Bishon Frise Breeders Association Saturday 29th March 2025

Firstly I would like to take this time to give my thanks to the committee and exhibitors. I was delighted with the support I received and to thoroughly get my hands truly on this wonderful Toy breed. My 2 stewards did a Stirling job with keeping our ring flowing nicely. Both of whom were most welcoming and very professional in their manors. I felt the atmosphere was nice and everyone showing support to one another.I really enjoyed my day and again I give my thanks to you all for the support in furthering my experience judging this delightful breed.

1st Hill Miss A. – Petit Ami's Hungry Heart With Deizi (Imp Nor)

Handsome young male of just 8 months old. Beautiful in outline with a lovely happy temperament. Head piece smart, slightly rounded. Dark eyes with nice black rims. Arched in neck flowing to a level back, tail held curved gently over back. Straight in legs of good bone, nicely muscled in rear. Feet rounded.a Groomed nicely, not over done. Was such a happy little chap as he moved round the ring with good rear drive maintaining balance.

2nd Robbinson Mrs A – Wattlemeade Just Walter

Another lovely youngster of just 6 ½ months old. Another with good temperament and enjoying himself. Lovely in head, dark rounded eyes giving a soft expression of a puppy. Body still plenty of time to develop, with tail carried over back nicely. Legs of fine bone and straight. He moved well enjoying himself with good reach in front.

1st Stokes MaryAnne – Anneymar Jamican Me Jive

11 months old young male, super in outline. Head piece giving a gentle masculine expression with large sparkling eyes. Moderate stop with correct muzzle length. Scissor bite. Slightly arched and long in neck with a level topline. Well bodied and nice depth to forchest. Tail held up and over throughout. Well muscled in rear end with good angulation, straight and level on the move reaching out in front and pushing well from behind. Delighted to Award him Best Puppy Male, Best Puppy In Breed and further adding Best Puppy In Show. A wonderful youngster to watch in the future.

1st Reid Mrs F – Wolimorb Cosmic Star Over Dixido

18 months old handsome male. Lovely outline and shape. Moved very well coming and going keeping a steady pace. He was very attentive to handler, very leased with himself. Slightly arched to neck flowing down to a Level back, well sprung in ribs, fairly square in body, Depth to forchest. Nice lay of shoulder with legs straight and fairly fine rounded feet, true black pigment. Maturing just nicely.

1st Johnstone Mrs M -Lovejen Angel Of Fire

2 Years old male beautifully outlined and super attentive to handler. Head in balance to body with dark large eyes. Muzzle housing a scissor bite, lips black. Very good pigmentation. Slightly arched in neck broadening down fitting nicely in to shoulders. Legs straight of good bone, tight rounded feet. Level in back, Ribs well sprung on a square body. Tail carried over back. He moved very well coming and going. Fairly balanced, and very attentive.

2nd Burnet Sue – Wolimorb When Stars Align

2 Years old lovely male. Handsome in outline, a bit bigger in stature than 1st but still well put together. Friendly happy Dog. Slightly rounded in skull, moderate in stop, scissor bite . Fairly long neck carried highly. Nicely developed in chest area, deep brisket in body with ribs well sprung. Chest developing nicely. Pushing from behind with well bent stifles. Feet well rounded and tight. He glided very well on the move keeping good balance.

Wow what a class of 3 top males all very deserving of top honours and I’m sure change places often.

1st Mrs D Carr – CH. Daveyluv’s D’artagnan JW

6 year old outstanding male. As soon as he came through the ring he caught my eye. Beautifully presented with a silhouette outline. Super attentive to handler throughout just looking to please the whole time. Lively happy and alert chap. Most pleasing of heads, slightly rounded skull. Large dark eyes which sparkled. Decent definite stop with correct ratio to head and muzzle. Equilateral triangle lines if drawn from large round nose, to outer corners of eyes. Well covered ears hanging closely to head.strong in jaw with a correct scissor bite. Square body with deep brisket and well sprung ribs. Level in back, croup slightly rounded. Tail curved over back set on level. Effortless movement as this boy kept parallel, and balance. I was really happy to Award him Best Male Dog, and delighted to say further Best In Show.

Another male of equally good qualities. 4 years old, mature boy, alert and full of being friendly. Very pretty for a male in head, most beautiful large dark eyes showing great expression. Scissor bite housed by a nice muzzle with strong jaw. Depth to forchest and fairly long in neck fitting well in to shoulders. Level in back with tail held up and over. Straight legs with enough bone, tight rounded feet with pure black pigment. Moved very well behind maintaining good drive. A very hard decision from these 3 males but I was delighted to Award this male 2nd in his class. He then came back in for the challenge and I decided he was well worthy of being given Reserve Best Dog, then awarded Reserve Best In Show.

Beautiful female just 8 months old. Super outline with such a pretty head piece, sparkling dark eyes with a feminine expression. Black, fine pigment. Muzzle of enough length, definite stop, Good bite. Flowing neck down to a level back. Nicely rounded in rear, good muscle tone for a young one with good angulation. Straight legs with enough bone. Tight rounded feet. Moved freely and level in such a lovely fun happy way. Very happy with herself aiminv to please handler throughout. Another youngster to watch come on.

Feminine 10 month old female, Very pretty head piece, slightly rounded in skull. Very expressive eyes, dark and rounded with halos. Well covered ears held closely to head. Strong in jaw with scissor bite. Decent depth to forchest, fairly long in neck fitting into oblique shoulders. Straight in for quarters with enough bone. Tail carried gently over level back. Broad thighs and fairly rounded, good muscle tone. She moved freely and in line maintaining overall balance.

2nd Osbourne Mrs C - Deizi Viva Forever For Magstarai

10 ½ months old female. Lovely feminine girl very attentive to handler throughout. Lovely outline and profile. Alert and happy temperament enjoying her day. Nice head with pretty features. Dark round eyes with halos. Scissor bite with strong jaw. Ears well covered hanging close to skull. Nice arch to neck flowing down to a level back. Square in body, with ribs well sprung. Straight in legs freely moving round the ring keeping level and in line.

Feminine 14 month old female, beautifully presented with nice outline. Very pretty in head showing a gentle expression from large dark rounded eyes. Good in stop and muzzle length with scissor bite. Body square, well sprung ribs, loin slightly arched and well rounded. Tail held over back set on level to topline. Straight and level on the move, gliding with ease. Moving straight in motion, looking very smart and owning her time in the ring. Pleased to Award Best Bitch and ultimately Best Opersite Sex.

Lovely youngster 21 ½ months old. Very pretty and feminine, lovely outline and shape. Slightly rounded skull dark eyes with black rims. Ears held closely to head with flowing hair. Scissor bite in just right muzzle, definite stop. Level back with body well sprung in ribs. Decent fore chest plenty heart room. Tail curved gently over level back. She moved very well showing good hind action pushing off with drive keeping to a level straight line. In front, straight of fine bone with feet round and well knuckled up.

Another lovely female showing smart, clean appearance. 22 months of age and maturing very nicely. Pretty head with feminine features. Dark eyes, forward facing and very alert. Strong jaw with good bite. Fairly long neck carried high. Level in back with croup slightly rounded. Tail curved gently over topline. Good muscle tone to rear with good angulation. She moved freely with nice drive from behind maintaining balance moving along a straight line.

A lovely female of 19 months old. Very pretty and feminine features. Lovely in outline, alert and full of spirit. Lovely head profile with dark rounded eyes fine black eye rims with halos, Soft expression. Well covered ears set on just above eye level. Definite stop muzzle of good length with strong jaw and scissor bite. Compactly neat in body with forchest well developed. Deep in brisket and ribs well sprung. Tail carried gently curved over level back. Good bone to straight legs, well rounded thighs to rear, feet rounded and tight. She moved super showing great alertness and keeping good balance moving in straight lines.

Another 19 month old female, happy and friendly temperment. Nice in outline, smart appearance. Pretty head with a feminine expression. Lovely sparkling dark eyes forward facing. Scissor bite set square to jaws. Neck slightly arched and of length broadening to fit well into shoulders. Front legs straight, fitting closely to body. Well knuckled up feet. Well sprung ribs to body, broad pelvis well covered croup. Tail gently over level back with plume. Moved very well with reach in front and drive from behind. Hard pushed class of 3 fine females.

Very pretty 2 years old female. Beautifully presented with nice overall outline. Friendly, alert happy girl smart appearance. Head feminine with large dark expressive eyes, ears held close to head with long flowing hair. Moderate stop, muzzle of enough length housing a scissor bite with black lips. Arched in neck with length carried high. Nicely developed in chest. Square in body well muscled loin with tuck up. Moved in line using good level of reach and rear drive maintaining good balance.

Lovely female, 2 years old sweet faced girl. Nice overall smart appearance. Pretty head, large dark eyes. Scissor bite with strong jaws. Black rounded nose on muzzle of enough width and length. Arched neck fitting well into shoulders, Depth to chest, body compact with deep brisket. Tail carried well throughout. Moved lovely coming and going keeping level, free action with reach in front and good drive behind.

4 years old beautifully presented female. Showy in outline with a happy alert temperament. Pretty features with a gentle expression. Rounded eyes forward facing with dark halos. Scissor bite with strong jaw. Ears well covered and hung close to head. Square in body with well sprung ribs. Loin slightly arched with tuck up and croup slightly rounded. Good muscle tone. Moved so freely and effortless maintaining a straight line of travel.

2nd Marquiss Ally – CH. Quissmar Chasing Lightning

Another lovely outlined female of 3 years old very pretty in shape and presence. Smaller in stature but still put together neatly and in proportion. Eyes dark and bright very expressive. Moderate stop, muzzle fitting well to face with a true scissor bite. Arched neck flowing down to fit well into shoulders. Square body well sprung ribs nice depth to chest good heart room. Good rear angulation to hocks, feet tight rounded and well knuckled up. In front, straight and of enough bone. On the move, she reached out with ease pushing from behind in a straight line of travel. A very close call between these 2 whom I’m sure switch places often.

1st Parkinson Mr D – Jaimens Petrichor

What a beautiful older female of 9 years old still looking immaculate. Wonderful in outline, dainty and compact but neat and well put together. Lovely feminine head with pretty features. Large dark eyes which still sparkled. Excellent pigmentation. Very attentive to handler throughout showing a super relationship. She moved with ease with true straight front reach and drive from behind. Such a delight to see an older exhibit still doing well and enjoying themselves. Very pleased to Award her Best Veteran In Show.
