I would like to sincerely thank the committee of Boston and District Canine Society for inviting me to judge several breeds and the Pastoral Group. It was a tremendous honour, and I had a thoroughly enjoyable day. I greatly appreciated the support of my stewards, who helped everything run so smoothly. My sincere thanks also go to all the exhibitors who entered under me and entrusted me with their much loved dogs. I was delighted with the lovely quality presented across the breeds and within the group, and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to assess so many wonderful exhibits.

1st Mejlola Some Girls Do

A lovely 8 month-old bitch with a beautiful head and expression. She has the correct length of upper arm and a well constructed front assembly, with her elbows correctly positioned beneath her. Moved out well, displaying good forward reach and fluid movement. A very promising puppy. Reserve Best of Breed and Best Puppy

2nd Mejlola Edge of Glory

Another lovely 8-month-old bitch of pleasing feminine type. Slightly smaller than the winner and not quite possessing the same length of upper arm, which affected her forward reach today. Nevertheless, a promising youngster with plenty of time to develop.

1st Mejlola Endeavour

A very promising 8-month-old male with a good head, eye and correct dentition. A lovely type, well made throughout, with correctly placed ears and a good length of upper arm. He moved fluidly around the ring, maintaining a pleasing and balanced outline.

2nd Corydon Christiana

A 19-month-old tricolour bitch, finer throughout and slightly smaller in type than the winner. Nevertheless, she was correctly proportioned and presented a feminine, balanced overall picture.

1st Bel Ch Takhisis Lady of Mystery BW24

A lovely 4-year-old bitch with a pretty, feminine head and expression. She has correctly placed ears, a pleasing eye and good dentition. Moved out extremely well, maintaining her shape throughout and displaying good forward reach with free, fluid movement. A quality bitch who presented a beautifully balanced overall picture. Best of Breed

1st Ch Blamorder Double Or Quits of Oakestelle JW

A very feminine 19-month-old tricolour bitch with a lovely head and eye, presenting a beautifully balanced shape. Good shoulder placement and well constructed throughout. She moved with swift, fluid action and was an absolute pleasure to watch as she flowed around the ring. Best of Breed

1st Blamorder I Dreamed A Dream at Wystry JW

A lovely 19-month-old bitch of excellent type, with a correct feminine head and pleasing eye. She has a well-constructed front assembly with good angulation and moved out well. Beautifully presented and handled, with good pigment, she made a very pleasing and balanced overall picture.

2nd Koczkodan Well I Never

An attractive, nearly 3-year-old male with a good head and correctly placed ears. Longer in body than the winner, and I would have preferred him slightly shorter and more compact. He was not quite as settled in presentation today but nevertheless had much to admire.

1st Blamorder Magic Maker With Freejack JW

A very attractive 3-year-old male with a good head, pleasing eye and well-shaped muzzle. Correctly proportioned, with good pigment, correct dentition and a lovely coat. He moved around the ring like the wind, displaying free, effortless action and making the most of the space available.

1st Vandereem Imperial Mario at Norjack

A stunning male puppy approaching 12 months of age. He has a beautiful head and eye, together with an excellent coat. Correctly constructed front and rear, he moved around the ring with ease while maintaining his balance and outline. Handled and presented to perfection, he was an impressive youngster with a very promising future. Best of Breed and Best Puppy

2nd Vandereem Imperial Olympia

A very feminine 7-month-old bitch of correct shape, with a lovely head and eye and good dentition. She was a little playful in the ring, but this was entirely understandable in one so young. A promising baby with plenty of time to settle and develop.

1st Taronakits It’s Kaboo for Frostia

A 3-year-old bitch with pleasing angulation. Smaller in build, but correctly proportioned and balanced throughout. She has a good head and eye, correct ears and good dentition. I would have preferred her coat to have been presented in cleaner condition on the day, but she nevertheless possessed sufficient overall quality to win the class.

2nd Rosnorske Royal Freesia

A smaller 3-year-old bitch with a good head and pleasing eye. Longer in muzzle than the winner. On the move, she tended to crab and toe in at the front, which affected her overall balance and performance today.

1st Urban Legend Dilorini at Twynmara (Imp Pol)

A 14-month-old male Beauceron who presented a pleasing, balanced outline for his age. Masculine and well proportioned, he showed himself confidently and made a strong impression in this mixed-breed class. Best AVNSC Pastoral

2nd X’Walter Des Etoiles Taquinantes (Imp Bel)

A blue, year-old male Briard who presented a pleasing overall picture. Still young and with further maturing to do, but displaying plenty of promise for the future.

1st Kayarrach Wish Upon A Star

A beautiful 2-year-old Estrela Mountain Dog bitch with an impressive broad skull while remaining lovely and feminine. Well proportioned, with good angulation throughout. An excellent mover who was very well handled and presented, making a striking overall picture.

2nd Fostebrie I Am Mika at Kimarlaz

A 2-year-old fawn Briard male whom I have judged previously. Well presented and handled, he displayed a pleasing overall outline. The superior movement of the winner gave her the advantage today.

1st Tin Tin Kopieccy Poland (Imp Pol)

A very promising 7-month-old Icelandic Sheepdog male who caught my eye in this mixed-breed class. Well balanced for his age and presenting a pleasing overall outline, he showed confidently and moved soundly around the ring. A lovely youngster with plenty of potential for the future. Best A.V. Imported Breed Register Pastoral and Best Puppy

2nd Whitehemi’s Chimaera

A nearly 12-month-old White Swiss Shepherd Dog bitch with lovely proportions and a pleasing expression. Very well presented and handled, although she needs to relax and gain a little more confidence in the ring. A promising young bitch who should continue to improve with maturity and experience.

1st Rasta Fellow’s OMG Che Gentile

A 3-year-old male Bergamasco of correct proportions. He has a great head and eye, with good pigment and correct dentition. Presented in the correct characteristic coat and made a pleasing, well-balanced overall picture.

2nd White Dream Team Simply The Best

A 3-year-old White Swiss Shepherd Dog bitch with a correct head and pleasing eye, together with good dentition. She had unfortunately left much of her coat at home on the day, which affected the overall picture, but her underlying quality was evident.

Repeat of Smooth Collie Special Yearling. A very feminine bitch with a lovely head and eye, correct head shape and good shoulder placement. She moved around the ring with a beautifully fluid action and was a pleasure to watch.

2nd Beabeardies Cinnamon Girl, Bearded Collie

Six-year-old fawn bitch of nice length and correct proportions. Good head and dentition, with an excellent coat. She was very well presented and handled.

1st Ch Thornshavn Maid of Blue for Rosschell JW (Imp Pol), Australian Shepherd

Seven-and-a-half-year-old Australian Shepherd bitch, beautifully presented and handled to perfection. Correct proportions with the correct depth of chest.

2nd Ch Goldmali Over the Rainbow, Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois)

Eight-year-old female of correct proportions, with good dentition. She was presented in lovely condition and handled extremely well.

Repeat of the A.V. Imported Breed Register Pastoral winner. A very promising seven-month-old male, well balanced for his age and presenting a pleasing overall outline. He showed confidently and moved soundly around the ring. A lovely youngster with plenty of potential for the future.

2nd Aussie Revolution Conquer with Grace via Takhisis (Imp Ita), Australian Shepherd

Seven-month-old blue-merle bitch with lovely proportions and a feminine head. Good dentition and very well presented. She moved out confidently with her handler and performed particularly well for such a young puppy.

1st Beabeardies Blue Monday, Bearded Collie

Eighteen month old blue bitch of good proportions, with eye colour toning well with her coat. Good coat texture, pleasing head and correct dentition. She moved out with good front and rear action, displaying plenty of drive.

2nd Stormin Norm by Tooralie, Shetland Sheepdog

Thirteen-month-old tricolour male with very pleasing proportions. Good head, with well-set ears and eyes. He was well presented and handled.

Class 349 Open (19, 16 absent)

1st Allmark One of These Days, Australian Shepherd

Five-year-old tricolour male, mature and masculine, presenting a balanced and well-developed outline. He possessed good overall proportions and was particularly impressive through the body, with excellent depth of breast giving him the substance required without appearing overdone. This depth and maturity gave him the advantage in the class.

2nd Twinan Raise the Bar for Fablecroft JW, Welsh Corgi (Pembroke)

Two-year-old with an excellent head, well-placed ears and good pigmentation and dentition. Good depth of chest and rib. He was presented and handled very well.
