The front is straight with strong bone and tight, well-arched feet. The rear is muscular and well angulated, providing powerful drive and effortless, sound movement around the ring. Presented in superb condition and handled with confidence, she demonstrated true breed type and outstanding movement. A deserving winner of the open class and ultimately best bitch.
2nd Mr P Campbell – CLANSMANN FLAME OF GLORY
A quality bitch showing good overall balance and breed type. She has a well-shaped head with pleasing fill and a bright expression. Neck and shoulders are clean and well set, with a level topline and a deep chest. Front is straight with adequate bone and neat feet. The rear is well muscled and angulated; however, her movement behind was just a little close at times, which affected her overall drive and fluidity compared to the winner. Handled confidently and presented in good condition. A very honest exhibit with much to like but just edged out today on rear movement.
Class 14 – Veteran Bitch (4,2)
1st Miss K Malden– LOUKA MASKED MAIDEN
A lovely veteran bitch showing good breed type and character. She has a well-shaped head with pleasing length and fill, complemented by a kind, alert expression. Her eyes are clear and dark, with ears correctly set. She moved well for her years, covering the ground steadily and with purpose, though not quite with the drive of the younger exhibits. Presented in good condition and handled with care, she showed true quality and experience in the ring. A credit to her age and a fine example of the breed.
2nd Miss E Pullen – BLAZINBULLYS SWEET SURPRISE AT RAZOREDGE
A well-balanced veteran bitch with a pleasing head showing good shape and expression. Eyes are bright and ears well set, though could be more expressive to enhance overall presence. She moved steadily and soundly around the ring but did not quite match the drive and fluidity of the first. Good rear angulation and topline supported her movement, which was honest and purposeful. Presented in good condition and handled confidently. A very respectable veteran who ran the winner close but lacked that extra sparkle in movement today.
