Bernese Mountain Dog Puppy Dog or Bitch - 5,(1 abs) 1st - King’s Arvella Busy Bea 8 month old bitch of nice size for age with good natured and confident temperament. Strong and pleasing head for age with flat skull and strong straight muzzle with correct bite, and dark almond eyes. Compact body and correct proportions with good bone for her size, a good rear angulation giving good drive once settled. Pleased to award Best Puppy. 2nd - Evans’ Etterbern Made in Essex for Evansly 10 month old bitch of medium size shown in good condition. Good temperament if a little hesitant to start. Feminine head with correct flat skull, correctly placed and shaped ears and dark eye giving a pleasing expression. Tight flews and correct dentition. Strong forequarters with good reach on the move. Junior Dog or Bitch - 4,(1 abs) 1st - King’s Arvella Busy Bea 2nd - Wood’s Oskevabern Hellraiser 16 month bitch of medium size with compact frame. Confident in temperament. Head in proportion with flat skull, slight furrow and defined stop. Ears of good shape but held slightly low. Correct dentition. Good angulation to the forequarters leading to tight feet. Slightly straight in rear angulation but moved freely. Shown in excellent condition. Post Graduate Dog or Bitch - 4,(2 abs) 1st - Wood’s Oskevabern Hellraiser 2nd - Meakin’s Bellatrix Do Monte Dos Ursos (Imp Prt) 18 month old bitch of medium size with a good, confident temperament. Feminine head with pleasing expression, dark almond shaped eye and scissor bite. Correct shape ears held slightly low. Good front angulation but would prefer to stand stronger on front pasterns. Open Dog or Bitch - 5,(3 abs) 1st - Copeland’s Kernow Dollar Promises at Maxjabar 4 year old masculine dog of good size with eye catching outline. Strong head with dark almond shaped eyes, correct shape, size and ear set giving a pleasing expression. Presented in an excellent condition with a lovely straight and rich coloured coat. Well placed shoulders and strong front legs with excellent correct feet. To be critical I would prefer a little more breadth of chest. Level top line leading to nicely rounded rump and correctly set and length to tail. Moved well. Pleased to award Best of Breed. 2nd - King’s Parwizz Vom Durrbachler Wald at Arvella (Imp Nld) 6.5 year old male with a large strong and mature frame. Strong masculine head with dark almond shaped eyes, ears set slightly low. Good length of neck leading to well set shoulders and strong front assembly. Strong level back and well set tail. Moved well though taken slightly slower, understandable on the slippery floor. Good colours to coat and well presented. Reserve Best of Breed.
