1st Lord of The Glittering Caves at Ternspringer (Mrs L Hipgrave). 2 year old dog with masculine head of good width and proportion. Strong neck into sloping shoulders, well boned and good depth to chest. Deep ribs throughout, strong through rear quarters. On the move he way happy and free, his wagging tail complementing that characteristic roll. RBOB

1st Sh Ch Eald Village Gossip VW (Mrs L Hipgrave). Surprised to see this bitch was 9 years old. Loved her head shape and proportion, soft expression from her eyes and large thick ears. Good length to neck, carried well on the move. Good depth to her well balanced body. Excellent coat colour with gold tip. Moved with accuracy for and aft. BOB

2nd Sh Ch Eald Village Scandal JW (Ms V A Davey). Also a veteran, daughter of 1. Balanced head, strong neck. Good bone, chest well developed and depth through ribs. Moved well in profile, not as accurate as one coming towards me on the day.

3rd Sh Ch Varya Velikolepnaya Iz Valley Wins at Torshca (Imp Blr) (Mrs D Ashcroft).

1st Maursett Mergwynn (Mrs H & Mr D N Taylor). 6 month old bitch. Well balanced for her age. Broad yet feminine head with nice square muzzle. Strong neck of good length. Good bone, straight legs on large feet. Ribs carried well back. Strong in rear quarters. A little nervous whilst stacked but an animated, confident mover. BPIB

1st Tweedsmuir Midsummer Dream (Mrs J Shipsides). 17 month old bitch. Loved the overall shape and balance of this bitch. Well proportioned head with nice clean eye. Deep in chest, ribbed well back. Well boned and nice feet. Strong powerful rear. Moved out very well. BOB

2nd Maursett Menelaus (Mr D Tilston). 17 month old dog. Another quality youngster with masculine head, well developed flews and nice shape/size to his ears. Muscular throughout his body. Animated mover but not as accurate as 1.

3rd Knockhalon Hocus Pocus (Miss E G Dronsfield).

1st Stonielea Toast (Mr D Tilston). 2 year old dog. Pleasing head with deep stop and square muzzle. Strong bone, good depth to chest, well ribbed. Firm throughout rear quarters. Steady mover displaying drive, just not as effortless in the challenge as the BOB. RBOB

2nd Maursett Marayd (Mr A J W & Mrs M Taylor). Mature bitch who was balanced throughout. Pleasing head with thoughtful expression. Strong neck of good length. Pleasing angulation all through. Moved out well although seemed distracted so not as true as I think she could have been.

1st Sonnetend Eternal Flame (Ms M Mcvitty). Bitch with nice head shape and proportion, dark eye and gentle expression. Good length to neck, well ribbed and strong through rear. Moved out very well.

2nd Sonnetend You Belong with Me at Pennybeck (Mr G S & Mrs J C Jones). Litter sister to 1 with feminine noble head, good straight front, well angulated front and rear. Steady mover but not the ground covering stride of 1.

1st Elgert King for A Day (Mrs D Wheeler). 2 year old dog. Masculine and noble head of good proportion with gentle dark eyes. Good length to neck into well laid shoulders. Well balanced body with good depth to chest and well sprung ribs. Strong through loin and rear quarters. Moved very well, covering the ground easily. BOB

1st Sh Ch Sonnetend Faith (Ms M Mcvitty). 8 year old veteran bitch. A quality exhibited with lovely head shape and proportion. Good length of neck, straight front with good bone. Deep chest with good spring of rib. Another good mover. Just lacking the finish of coat and physic of the BOB winner. RBOB

2nd Ewtor Crazy Kinda Love at Pennybeck (Mr G S & Mrs J C Jones). 8 year old veteran bitch. Nice head shape with good eye colour. Nice shape and well balanced. More compact throughout than winner. Ribs well back. Move well but pulled on lead when coming towards, which threw the front out slightly.

1st Rochus Take Action (Mr M & Mrs H Jones). B/W roan dog with well proportioned head demonstrating that typical Brittany expression. Straight well constructed front assembly, nice length to leg, well proportioned to fine body. Moved well with lashing tail action.

2nd Rochus Sweet Pea (Mr M & Mrs H Jones). B/W roan bitch. Feminine head but not as defined as 1. Nice shoulder placement and front assembly. Lighter build then 1 but in overall proportion. When settled move soundly.

3rd Ravenna Noisette avec Meadowline (Miss L Thompson).

1st Minama Unforgettable at Stonesview (IKC) (Miss J & Mr G & Mrs M Nicholls). 18 month old O/W roan dog. Excellent head and expression with alert eyes. Straight front with nice feet. Good length to neck. Well ribbed and strong all through. Good angulation and width to rear quarters. Moved very well. Close call on reserve BOB.

1st Sh Ch Bonapartist Pickpocket (Mrs L & Mrs J Graham & Yarrow). 5 year old O/W dog in fantastic condition. Smaller dog but so balanced and cobby. His head and expression exude Brittany. Well ribbed and strong through body. Excellent mover with short gait covering the ground well. BOB and later BIS 3

2nd Sh Ch Highclare Only One avec Tailliside (ai) JW (Miss F Cook). Hard to believe this O/W dog is almost a veteran. Larger cast than 1 with a good leg to body ratio. Very balanced in outline. His head is the correct 3 to 2 proportion with expressive eyes and alert ears. A fit muscular dog who moved well. A very hard decision between two worthy Sh Ch. RBOB
