NEWARK & DISTRICT CANINE SOCIETY – OPEN SHOW – SUNDAY 23RD FEBRUARY 2025.
I was a last-minute replacement judge for Mrs Sue Cole, to whom I send best wishes for a speedy recovery. Heartfelt thanks to the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at as the replacement and providing me with such a helpful and pleasant steward on the day. The show has a lovely atmosphere and is clearly well supported by the exhibitors. It was a real privilege for me, and I would like to thank all exhibitors for their good grace on the day.

1. Hudson’s, Mala’s Amal Johari Dayim Glenoak (IMP DEU). Very striking male, who was enjoying his day out. Lovely balanced head, strong underjaw. Dark eye, nice long and mobile ears which are not too low set. Long, strong neck, well laid back shoulders and long upper arm. Strong pasterns and well arched toes. Brisket long and deep, and good cut up and desired slight arch over the loin. He was excitable on the move, and it was a challenge to assess his movement, which was unfortunate as there is much to like about this handsome male. Once he matures and settles, I am sure he will go on to have a wonderful show career.
