Breed: Dalmatian

Judge : Nina Pace (Sadiedel)

Thankyou to my fellow Dalmatian Exhibits for the fabulous entry and no absences at this show, I understand that this is a very good entry for this venue, I am truly grateful to you all for your support in my Judging journey

The ring was extremely poor in size, I moved the judges table to make as much room as I could, but it was really far from ideal to see any Dalmatian move and give a fair assessment.

I awarded RBOB as it was in my judging book, although I understand from exhibits after that this caused confusion as it wasn’t in the catalogue.

Post Graduate ( 4 entries, 0 absences)

1st H Davies – Maddidalli True Loves Kiss. 13 months B/W

This btch is quite eye-catching and I have admired her from ringside for some time, so it was nice to have her here today. There is a lot to Iike about this smart girl. My notes say “ I liked her style”

She is rather mature for her age and is well schooled, being picky I would have liked a little more weight on her

She is feminine and elegant with substance and balanced throughout, in particular I liked her front angulation and assembly and her topline. She had the best topline here today, that she held at all times.

BOB

2 - T Davies- Maddidalli Auroras Heart. 13 months B/W Btch

Litter sister to 1st, another smart youngster with a lot to like, she is holding on to her youth and taking her time to mature, her sister better watch out. She is very pretty with such sweet expression, correct front and rear angulation and completely balanced throughout and well-muscled. Her decoration is heavier and not as well defined in places. At times she tended to over concentrate and fly her tail, which was slightly shorter than desired this also caused her to lose her topline.

Called in to challenge for RBOB but wasn’t as settled, I understand this to be due to the confusion of being called back in unexpectedly– see earlier comment

3- Kystuno Jasappel

Open (6,0)

1- E Williamson – Decoda’s Captain Tom. 5YO Liver male

Well this young man came to win today, every time I looked at him he was giving it his all. He had this persona about him that kept drawing my attention. He was the only dog today that adapted his movement to allow for the ring size and what directions I sent them in. He showed smooth, rhythmic gate and adapted his stride accordingly, every direction was smooth, just as it should be with the correct head carriage on the move.

Typical dalmatian head, double patched ears. Good length of neck & lay of shoulder with defined wither. RBOB

2- P Edens – Steyndal Diamond White at Dalens JW. 4YO BW Btch

One ive judged before and on this occasion, she is just returning from maternal duties, so not yet in full sports mode. She is such a showy girl, who works so well for her handler. Feminine with a lovely shape to her head, good length of neck which she golds so well, she holds herself so powerful on the stand.

3- Shydally Ultimate Edition JW

BP- C Smart- Wibmeister Remy at Coastalcove. 11month BW Male

Full up boy, who was rather unsettled today.
