Firstly I would like to thank the committee for the invite to judge at this show, my stewards for keeping the ring in order, and the exhibitors for their entries.

Cairn Terrier

Puppy (2,1a)

1st Keeves’s Seveek Spring Blossom

Alert young bitch has a feminine head, with a lovely expression. Her ears are neat, well placed and of correct size. She has enough length of neck, a level topline and correct tail set. Would prefer a tidier front, and a little shorter in loin. BP

1st Ballinger’s Cloverbrook Forget Me Not

A smart bitch, with pleasing overall balance. She has a strong muzzle with a definite stop, and broad skull. Her front is clean and straight with well -placed shoulders and has a enough forechest. Presented in correct double coat. Moved with good reach and drive a real show girl. BOB

2nd Keeves’s Seveek Peaches N Dreams

Not enjoying herself today. Pleasing body proportions, has enough spring of rib, back level. Is hindquarters well –muscled. Moved ok. Would prefer a more feminine expression.

Lucas & Tobutt’s Seveek Country Lad

1st Grey brindle dog, with dark sunken eye, framed by small pointed ears. He has good front and rear angulation, medium body length with strong loin, and muscular hindquarters. Moved freely although rises on his topline. RBOB

1st Kay’s Jackopeaks Peaches Legacy

Typical brave temperament, entering the ring with confidence. Correct head proportions, with neat folded ears. She has a good lay back of shoulder, level topline with slight rise over loin. Spannable with pliable pelt. BP.

Junior(1,0a)

1st Lane& Lane-Ridyard’s Kulawand White Diamond

A star in the making, this dog has a strong muzzle, flat skull with moderate width. His ears are of correct size and set on level with the skull. He has a super straight front, a good length of neck, pleasing rear angulation and tail set. Moved with real purpose. RBOB

1st Thornley & Smiths’ Dancing In The Dark at Robythorn.

Masculine dog, with strong head, dark eye, ear in proportion to head with well filled muzzle, and correct scissor bite. He has sufficient length of neck, well sprung rib, and pleasing rear angulation. He is spannable and has a thick pliable pelt. Moved with good reach and drive. BOB.

2nd Harris’s Kulawand Wicked Womble

Flat skull with keen expression, dark almond eye, and distinct stop. He has a clean front, elbows tucked in, with good body proportions. Tail set high, carried erect, with stifles well bent. Moved freely’

Open (2,0a)

1st Thornley & Smith’s Fast Love with Locheil ShCEx.

This dog has a lovely head with dark eyes, ears folded above skull. His muzzle is well filled with pronounced cheek muscles. He has a moderate length of neck leading into a topline with the slight required rise. His loin is well muscled and tail on top with good rear angulation. Moved with reach & drive.

2nd Kay’s Blazingjacks Best Mate with Jackopeaks

He has a good reach of neck running into well laid shoulders. His front is straight with ample bone. Rib cage is oval and well sprung and has a moderate tuck up. Smart movement covering the ground with ease. Presented in a smart coarse jacket. Would prefer him a little shorter in loin.

Puppy (2,1a)

1st Burrage’s Lojza Garex (Imp Cze) -Cesky

Light grey, with friendly expression, large black nose, well developed head with distinct stop, medium ear folded above skull. Neck elegant into muscular shoulders, correct angles fore and aft, with enough body length to balance him. He moved with propulsion although a little nervous, with confidence you can see he has plenty of potential.

1st Tate & Wren’s Jaeva On The Run – Norfolk

Compact young dog with good substance, she has a feminine head with dark eyes, and medium v shaped ears. Ribs are well sprung, she is short in loin, has correct tail set, and pleasing rear angulation Presented in a hard wiry jacket. Moved with drive, needs to tighten a little in front.

2nd Edington-Hall & Ballinger’s Est Etiam Novus Angelus Mit Wendaire (Imp UKR) - Airedale

Solid dog with brick shaped head, straight front and elbows perpendicular to body with enough chest room. Muscular neck into sloping shoulders, ribs well back, short in loin, complimented with powerful hindquarters. Presented in a smart harsh jacket.

1st Gee’s Watercroft Copywrite - Norfolk - 10 months

Smart young dog with real ring presence, keen alert expression with dark eye, compact body with good substance throughout. Rear quarters well developed with plenty behind. Moved freely covering the ground with ease, keeping his topline. One to watch for the future. RBAVNSC/ BP/ PG1

Masculine wedge shaped head, broad skull, enough width between ears. Well sprung ribs, forelegs straight with good bone, enough length of neck, short in back, well-muscled hindquarters, with enough bend of stifle. Tail set level with topline. Moved with good reach and drive. BAVNSC & G3

 2nd Broome’s Liroda Midnight Kiss at Evingbriar VW - Scottish

 A bitch I have always admired, she has a super profile, a long head with neat well placed ears, and has a good depth and strength to her jaw. Neck flows into well laid shoulders, has a straight front, a good depth of brisket with good substance throughout. Presented in a smart double coat. Moved well.

1st Jordon-Smith Jordith Vespera - Border

This young bitch has a feminine head with a lovely expression, short muzzle and a slight stop. She has the straightest of fronts with enough width and forechest. A good layback of shoulder, depth of rib, and is narrow throughout. Moderate bend of stifle with hock well let down. Moved freely.

1st Hill’s Borderrush Cadbury - Border

This dog has a typical otter like head with strength, a well filled muzzle, and ears level with the skull. His feet are tight with enough bone. Chest is deep, ribs are carried well back and has a muscular loin with moderate tuck up. This blue & tan was presented in a correct coat, and a thick pliable pelt.

Wow what a class, many could easily change places on another day.

1st Burrage's Ch Komidion Prima Donna of Sametova ShCEx VW - Cesky

This dog presents a stunning profile, and is super attentive. Her head has good strength, with ears set on high and pendulous. She has an elegant reach of neck, with muscular well laid shoulders, a good depth of rib, medium length of body and pleasing rise over loin. Her hindquarters are high set which she uses to power her effectively around the ring.

2nd Curtis’s Ch Verumamicius Aurora of Brakemill JW OSW - Skye

Another stunning dog. She has a beautiful outline, a powerful long head with prick ears which she uses well. Her shoulders are broad, she is deep in chest, and has the required long low body, with a level topline, and muscular well developed hindquarters. Presented in a beautiful double coat in excellent condition . Moved effortlessly around the ring.

Terrier Group

1st Ramus’s Tulawyn Garrestson by Onthill - Border

One I have given the group to before, and was not disappointed today. Smartly presented in correct jacket. He has a typical otter head, with moderately broad skull, dark eye and small neat well placed ears. Enough reach of neck set well into shoulders, with well sprung ribs, muscular loin, racy hindquarters, and hocks well let down. Moves freely at a steady pace.

2nd Peakin’s Ubble Du Manoir Saint Adrien at Byzantine(Imp Fra) - Smooth Fox

Smart young dog, who has real ring presence, alert and on tiptoe of expectation. His skull is flat, with moderate chiselling and has an excellent scissor bite. He has a straight front, muscular neck of good length running into well laid shoulders, leading to a pleasing topline. Moved feely with purpose.

4th Bradshaw’s Holbam Midsummer Spirite (AI) - Irish

This bitch has good bone, with tight feet, her head is well filled and of good proportions, she has a muscular neck, leading into a moderate length of back with slight arch to loin. Hindquarters are well developed. Moved well.

A beautiful feminine bitch at just 6 month, is alert and fearless. She has a dark small eye, with neat well placed ears. She stands on neat tight feet, with a straight front, clean shoulders, short in loin, with well-developed hindquarters. Tail set on high. Moved with drive.

3rd Fallon’s Crofftysofty Bee Yonce - Soft Coated Wheaten

A well- developed young dog with good bone, his head is well proportion and has a good strength to his muzzle. Topline level, with muscular hindquarters. Moved freely with good extension.

4th Bailey & Hancocks Rattustrap Crimes at Night - Manchester

Correct wedge shaped head with dark eye and ears folded above skull. He has well balanced with a pleasing topline, correct tail set and pleasing markings throughout. Moved well once settled.

AV Veteran Stakes

1st Bowden’s Ch Subessen Blaze of Fire VW - Bearded Collie

Stood out in this class, as she flows around the ring. She creates a lovely profile both stacked and on the move. When you get your hands on her nothing is overdone, with her correct front and rear angulation, and level topline. She has a lovely feminine expression with a dark expressive eye.

2nd Benton’s Ch Oakestelle Artemis ShCEx VW - Smooth Collie

Pleasing head with slight stop, dark eyes and correct planes. She has a beautiful straight front, and has well sprung ribs, level back, completed with good rear angulation. Moved freely.
