BOB: Muliebrity Purple Princess avec Tonerrier (Mr A Hall) RBOB: Touessroks Little Jewel (Miss A Sabin)

Limit (2, 0a)

1st Muliebrity Purple Princess avec Tonerrier (Mr A Hall) Feminine bitch of pleasing type and outline. Head is long with delicate chiselling, dark keen eyes, correct bite, and ear set which she uses well. Forelegs are straight with sufficient bone. Neck of good length, flowing smoothly into well-laid shoulders. Body is a little lean and would benefit from a touch more substance. She maintains her topline, has well-muscled hindquarters, and moved with good propulsion. Pleased to hear she went Group 4.

2nd Touessroks Little Jewel (Miss A Sabin) Another quality dog of good substance. Masculine head with a strong muzzle, dark eye, although ears are set a little wide. Neck of good length, well-sprung ribs, with muscular firm loin. Strong hindquarters with enough bend of stifle. Moved freely, but front movement was a little untidy. Presented in a smart, wiry jacket.

Top quality entry, and what a pleasure it was to judge this breed today.

Puppy (3, 2a)

1st Watercroft Sticky Wicket (Mrs R Gee) At just six months, there is much to admire about this young bitch. She has a most appealing head with a dark oval eye, strong muzzle, and correctly set ears. Has good bone and substance with a straight front of correct width. Neck of sufficient length, clean through the shoulders, with a compact body and level topline, which she maintains on the move. Pleased to hear she went Puppy Group 2.

Junior (3, 1a)

1st Ch Layhefields Great Ridge by Belleville (Mrs C S Thompson-Morgan) A dog of excellent breed type, showing typical characteristics and attitude. He has neatly folded ears set correctly on a broad skull, with muzzle wedge shape, dark oval eyes, and keen expression. Moderate length of neck flowing smoothly into well-laid shoulders, with a firm, level topline. Short in back with correct tail set and well-muscled hindquarters. Presented in an excellent double coat of correct texture.

2nd Watercroft Stitch in Time (Mrs R Gee) Another quality exhibit. This feminine bitch is strong in head, with medium-sized ears. She has

lovely front and rear angulation, a compact body with sufficient forechest, and moves freely with good reach and drive.

Post Graduate (2, 0a)

1st Watercroft Showboat (Mrs R Gee) A classy bitch with a pleasing expression and dark, well-set eyes. Medium length of neck flowing smoothly into well-laid shoulders, level topline which she held well on the move. Good spring of ribs carried well back, short and strong in loin.

2nd Belleville Scarlet Starlet (Mrs C & Miss M Thompson-Morgan & Iida) Another quality bitch with a feminine head, dark keen eye, and full of her own importance. Well bodied, with tail set on top. Moved freely, covering the ground with ease.

Open (3, 0a)

1st Watercroft Time After Time (Mrs R Gee) A masculine dog of excellent type, showing plenty of bone and substance. He has an exceptional bite with large, strong teeth. Straight front with good width and forechest, head set at right angle to a moderate length of neck, sloping smoothly into well-laid shoulders. He stands square and balanced, with a correct tail set carried on top, plenty of rear behind the tail, and hocks well let down. He moved freely and purposefully, maintaining his topline on the move. Presented in a correct double coat of good texture.

2nd Belleville Counting Stars (Mrs C S Thompson-Morgan) Feminine head with a dark eye and good bite. Straight front with good bone, well-laid shoulders, and pleasing return of upper arm. Ribs well sprung, short back, and muscular hindquarters. Moved freely. Presented in a super jacket of correct texture.

3rd Watercroft Cosmic Dust (Miss M L Davis) Another quality exhibit with good overall balance. Head well proportioned, with a strong muzzle and correct wedge shape. I liked his ribbing, short back, and rear angulation; it is just a shame he is carrying a little too much weight.
