Dog of 71/2 mths who is still very raw. Balanced head and dark eye giving a lively expression. Front needs to tighten but he has plenty of time for this. Good fore-chest and depth of body with correct coat. Moved Ok once he settled. (BP).

3 year old dog who looks well stacked with appealing masculine head. Short muscular neck and correct depth of body and in good coat and condition. His movement was not as positive as 1 today.

A bitch I admired ringside at her first show with a noble head with strong underjaw and dark eyes giving an intelligent expression. Long strong neck into well laid shoulders and with beautiful construction through out and the correct double coat. She moves freely with reach and drive. My notes say beautiful which she certainly is. (BOB)

13 mth old dog who was full of himself today. Masculine well proportioned head with correctly set ears and dark eyes giving a friendly expression. Strong neck into well laid shoulders, nicely ribbed back with strong loin and rear angles to match front. With correct coat and nicely padded feet. Beautifully handled he moved with reach and drive.

A beautiful bitch with pretty correctly proportioned head with dark eyes and intelligent expression. Strong neck into well laid shoulders, deep chested and well ribbed back with strong loin. She was in good coat and moved freely. (RBOB)

A 2 year old typey bitch with correctly shaped head, dark eyes and friendly expression. Her ears are well set and hang with a fold. She has a good strong neck which flows into her soundly constructed front. Balanced, in good coat and moving with reach and drive she was unlucky to meet 1 today.

A 2 year old bitch who I last judged as a puppy. She is a lovely size with a correctly proportioned feminine head, dark intelligent eyes and well-set ears. Her strong neck flows into her well laid shoulders, well made all-through with the correct topline and tail carriage she moves with verve. Delighted to award her BOB and pleased to hear she had gone RBIS later in the day.

2ND 874 - Afterglow Curtain Call avec Roxastan (Mrs R Townsend)

5 year old dog with much to like, typical in head with dark eyes and low set ears, he has a strong neck set into well laid shoulders. Longer cast but with deep chest and pleasing rear angles, he has rough harsh coat, was in fine condition and sound moving.

This was a challenging class to judge as it was filled with quality. I shortlisted 7 exhibits and it was really a case of splitting hairs. I know there are differing schools of thought on showing champions at open shows but this class gave the champions a chance to strut their stuff.

1ST 92 - Sh Ch Tenshilling It's My Party for Salmonmist JW OSW ShCEx (Ms S R Philo)

This chap is symmetrical and well-built all over, his outline is a series of graceful curves. Beautifully constructed with well let down brisket and short coupled he was in hard muscular condition and moved with straight and true with ground covering movement. Sympathetically handled to advantage.

2ND 4 - Sh Ch Valcor The Confessor at Canemamans JW ShCEx OSW (Mr I Sladden)

A well-balanced dog with the required almost square outline. Masculine head with deep muzzle and large spongy nose. Soundly constructed with correct depth of body and well sprung ribs. Moved with drive on tight feet.
