Worcester & Malvern Canine Society

It was a pleasure to judge at this well organised and friendly show. My thanks go to the committee of the society for inviting me, the stewards who kept the ring running smoothly and the exhibitors for preparing their dogs and accepting my decisions with good sportsmanship.

1ST 5 - Diersett Moon of The Skies (Mr I & Mrs K Reid) 11 month old bitch with correctly proportioned head with deep muzzle. Muscular neck into well placed shoulders, balanced body with level topline, well presented and positive on the move.

2ND 6 - Bongate Miss Melodramatic of Settavista (Miss R & Ms K Stead) 6 month old bitch at her first show. Pleasing head and muscular neck. Beautifully put together all through with tail of the correct length. She is raw as you would expect at this age.

1ST 1 - Elvistar Falling in Love (Mrs A M Forrest) 15 month old bitch with appealing head and long lean neck. Soundly made and balanced with level topline and ever wagging tail. Giving her handler a hard time initially she moved freely on well padded feet in the end .

2ND 13 - Goldbirch Northern Disco at Skippit (Mr B & Mrs J Williams) 16 month old bitch with typical head and bright expression. Adequate angles fore and aft, with good depth of body moved OK.

Lean neck into well laid shoulders. Balanced with level topline and strong loin, he has quality bone and moved freely on tight well padded tight feet.

2ND 2 - Elvistar Private Dancer (Mrs A M Forrest) 3 year old pretty bitch with appealing head and expressive eye. Strong neck and well made all through she wasn’t co operating with her handler today.

Good length of neck into well placed shoulders. Balanced body with good depth and strong loin. Pleasing turn of stifle, tight feet and quality bone. In good coat and condition he was a positive mover for one so young.

2ND 141 - Sylahra You Are My Sunshine (Miss T & Miss J L Weeks & Brown) 7 month old pretty bitch with feminine head dark eyes and kind expression. Muscular neck into strongly constructed front. Balanced with level topline and correct rear angles. Unlucky to meet 1 today.

1ST 129 - Fenpinque Royal Rascal by Molestream (Mrs S Norris) 3rd in the previous class this 8 month old lad moved a lot better in this class. Handsome head with good pigment and well set neat ears. Muscular neck into nicely made front, pleasing rear angles, with quality bone he moved on well padded cat like feet.

2ND 139 - Strettonhills Bees Knees (Miss C & Mr M Taylor & Tenn) Pretty 6 month old bitch who was more confident in this class. Typical head with dark eye and kind expression, good length of neck into well made front. Strong topline with rear angles to match her front, she has quality bone and moved on tight catlike feet. Sympathetically handled.

Masculine head without any coarseness, correctly set ears, dark eye with soft expression and good pigment. Good reach of neck into soundly constructed front. Nicely put together all through with quality bone and tight feet he moved well holding his topline.

2ND 121 - Ambersun Winter Storm (Mr N & Mrs M Mears) 13 month old dog who is more mature than 1. Appealing head with dark eye and pigmentation. Good length of neck into well constructed forequarters, strong loin and well let down hocks he was in his best jacket today.

Good reach of neck and soundly made front with matching rear angles and strong topline. I would prefer slightly more length of leg but she has quality bone and moved on well padded catlike feet.

Muscular neck, he is beautifully put together, balanced and unexaggerated. In hard condition and good coat. He holds his topline stacked and on the move. With quality bone and tight well padded feet. I feel the best is yet to come.

2ND 105 - Phoslas Polly Flinders (Mrs L & Mrs S Bufton & Riley) 5 year old pretty bitch who is a nice size. Typical in head with dark eye and soft expression. Correctly made all through with quality bone and beautifully presented. Positive and sound on the moving.
