Class 1 Baby puppy dog or bitch.
1st Melvin & Jopson Nithview The Drifter, impressive sable baby appeals instantly for his balanced shape good reach of neck, well developed head and nice eye. Lovely coat for one so young. Moved confidently in all directions.
2nd Melvin & Jopson Nithview Black Velvet, Tricolour litter sister of 1 and not as advance but just right of age jet black coat and nice dark eye. Not as confident as her brother but a nice baby girl. Will watch both with interest as they progress in their show career.
3rd O’ Connel Sionnachdu Balach or
Class 2 Minor Puppy Dog
1st Ferguson Fervaila Black Cuillin
Surprised this boy was only 6 months old he was well developed for his age. Good dark eye and correct stop, however his expression was spoiled by his heavy set ears. Moved confidently.
Class 3 Puppy Dog
1st Hepburn Dippermoor Dare to Dream at Leterikills
This boy has matured well since the last time I judged him as a raw baby. Now he has a wealth of jet black coat. He has a good shape with nice arch to his neck and correct length of back. Good head with sweet dark eye and well set ears completed his masculine expression. he moved confidently on the floor, just felt he was carrying too much weight that affected his front movement, pushed for res Best Dog but had to settle for best puppy dog and eventually best puppy in show.
Class 4 Junior Dog
Absent
Class 5 Yearling Dog
1st Glencross, Interstellar Bohemia Classic (imp cze)
A lovely sable dog of excellent breed type. Balanced outline with good reach of neck and level topline. Good eye and well set ears. Head stronger than my type, correct wedge shape and sweet expression. Moved freely and with purpose. Coat in good condition for age and well presented.

2nd Ferguson, Fervaila Black Cullin
Class 7 Graduate Dog
1st Gartland, Arcot Polished Black JW
Another I have judged before, and my opinion has not changed. He is everything I look for in a sheltie, totally breed type. He is striking dog who draws you in with dark appealing eyes. Beautiful well refined head. Well-presented coat frames his elegant outline; his coat is certainly polished black. He has well laid shoulders He is still young but well-muscled, well laid shoulders, good length of back and well angulated rear. He moved well in all directions and covered the ground with ease. Pleased to award him Best Dog and Finally Best in Show.
2nd Thomson, Lochdee Dark Galaxy
Another well-balanced tricolour with pleasing outline. Head refined, ears could be tighter. Moved freely.
3rd White, Dajarls Glittering prize
Class 8 Post Graduate Dog
1st Smiddyshaw Here I Go Again
Lovely dog who presents a balanced outline. Clean head with no exaggeration. Good flat skull, lovely expression enhanced by correct eye and ear placement, giving him that soft masculine expression. On the move, he excels with drive , holding his shape and topline in all directions. Good body fitting coat presented well. Res Best Dog
2nd Rowancrest Rather Smart at Sionnachdu
Class 9 Limit Dog
1st Katiedale The Piper at Nithview sable dog who I have judged before as a young pup. He has matured into a lovely male and perfect showman. Now a dark shaded sable with a lovely clean head and lovely expression. He has good shape with everything in proportion I would just like more neck to complete the picture. He moved confidently around the ring.

Class 17 Puppy Bitch
1st Clemwood Fairy Glen
This was a charming blue merle baby who was not happy in the surroundings. I loved her and was willing her to perform. She is a beautiful shape, elegant length of back shapely neck. She has a clean head with just the right stop for her age and just needs time to fill in foreface to complete the picture. She moved well in the class in all directions. But asked for any more she put the brakes on. Hope she gets her act together as she is a very promising girl.
Class 18 Junior Bitch
A good class of mixed types
1st Shenachie Bubbles
Another exquisite blue merle, who appealed for her silvery blue colour and size. Head is well balanced with a sweet expression. Good body shape, and well-presented. She won this class on her Light effortless movement. She covered the ground confidently and with ease.
2nd Sommerville Sandmoon
This sable girl pushed first hard as she appealed for her elegance. Nice sable with a good eye and expression, she is well made through out. Just not as free on the move as 1.

Class 21 Graduate Bitch
1st Smiddyshaw All The Glitz
Now this is my type the one you would take home, a tricolour. She is quality through and through. Perfect show girl both standing and on the move.
Super head with dark eyes, perfect set ears giving the melting expression that only a tri can give with lovely rich tan. Everything is in proportion and balanced throughout. The best mover of the day her side gait is excellent. But she was in her bikini which cost her BIS over the dog.
The lack of coat only proved everything was in the right place, nothing to hide, once she is in full coat she will trouble the best. Best Bitch and Res BIS
2nd Sionnachdu First of Her Name
This girl was well handled to get the best out her, another tri longer cast than 1 but all in proportion. Nice clean head would like a fuller muzzle, good expression her ears are light if they could get over and stay over, they would enhance her further. Good shoulder placement and well angulated. Moved well.
Class 22 Post Graduate Bitch
1st Lochdee Galloway Gold
Feminine sable with a nice head and beautiful dark eyes. Good length of neck, and balanced outline. Would have preferred more positive movement.
Class 23 Limit Bitch
1st Ellenyorn Elixir
This was another classic sheltie, type that is not often seen now loved her. I thought she would push for top awards. Lovely head with dark eyes neat ears giving the sweetest feminine expression. On standing she is elegant and glamourise and will always draw your eye. However, her topline wasn’t level, I felt she, and dipping at shoulder due to a loss of coat and slightly more upright in shoulder, would have liked more positive movement, which cost her higher award today.
Class 24 Open Bitch
1st Leterikhills River Lass
This was another glamourise lady in full shaded sable coat and furnishing. Nice head pattern with well filled foreface her eye could be more oblique set, but it suits her expression with neat ears. She is slightly upright in shoulder but balanced length of back and well angulated at the back and let down hock and long tail. She moved positively in all directions and showed well.
Every time I looked round she was standing perfect and well deserving of res best bitch, in good competition.
Class 25 Veteran Bitch
1st Shenachie Lyric of Light
The first 2 in the class shared the same virtues and was hard to separate them.
This is an elegant senior lady who denies her veteran years. Another I have judged before and same remarks apply. She appeals instantly for her shape and well-fitting abundant coat in beautiful condition and presentation. She won over 2nd for her lovely eye and neat ears that she used all the time giving her the sweetest expression.
Lovely reach of neck flowing into well-developed body. Good length of back and angulation she is just a classic sheltie with well let down hocks and long well set tail. She moves so well for her age and could show some youngsters how to move
2nd Ch Smiddyshaw I’ll be there for U JW
Another fabulous senior lady and there were very much splitting hairs between them My final decision was I just preferred the eye of one. But this lady is equally as elegant, lovely rich sable coat and balanced body. She covered the ground with ease and couldn’t ask for any more form her. Another classic sheltie that is quality through and through.

1st Sionnachdu First of Her Name as 2nd in Graduate
2nd Shellamoyed Black Lace
Another nice tri bitch, good balanced heed and dark eye neat ears, good rich tan, well presented black shiny coat. Nice balance. Just preferred the more positive movement of 1.
Class 27 Special Open (Black & white / Blue Merle) Bitch
I would have liked a clearer blue colour on all these shelties.
1st Shenachie’s Storm Dove
6 year old mature lady. She is balanced throughout, nice head and eye.
2nd Di’Liela’s Sheltie Queen of The Light over Fervailia
Bigger type than one, and well-muscled, nice rich tan which enhanced her expression.
