Thank you to the Club for the invite to judge at this well supported show, A busy day which I

thoroughly enjoyed. Many thanks to the Exhibitors for bringing their dogs under me and

acccepting my decisions on the day.

ENGLISH SETTER

Junior 1,0

1.Hutchinson & Dennis: Mariglen My Heart Will Go on With Monaysbridge. B. Liked this young

bitch’s overall shape and size, pleasing head with kind gentle expression, good topline to her,

liked her angulation behind and found her steady on the move, with good straight lines both

going away and coming towards BOB

PG 2,1

1.Carlin: Ennydloc Yorkshire Image. D. Liked this males size, good head and strong neck, well

placed shoulders and good rib, just found him a tad bum high on the day, well muscled behind,

moved well showing a free graceful action, just preferred overall shape of the junior in the

challenge

1.Upton: King Fox to Tragus. D. Pleasing young male with bags of potential when he fully grows

up, liked his head shape, good front and well sprung rib, best of harsh coats, strong loin and

correct angulation behind with a good turn of stifle, still raw on the move but showed enough

about him to allow me to award him BOB, BP and PG4

Puppy 3,1

1.Terry: Shaggylands Midnight Train. D. B/W Roan boy lovely shape in profile, good head with

kind eye, clean through neck and shoulders, ribs developing well for age, preferred his topline

over 2, wide across the rump, found him in good coat, steady on the move with a good action

both front and rear. 2.Fawcett: Wissant About Flippin Time. D. B/W sweetest of heads, but not

the body shape of 1, fell away too much for me over his rear and appeared hunched up on the

day, just not the movement of 1 today.

Junior 6,1

1.Roberts & Smith: Rayol The Journalist. D. Black dog of a good type and size, prettiest of head

with lovely kind, gentle eye, clean neck and good shoulder placement, level topline and good

tailset, well angled behind and a picture on the move showing good lines both in profile and on

the up and back. 2.Randall: Fengrange Defender Boy. D. B/W roan, liked his shape and size

when stacked with a lovely head and short compact body, found him in good coat, moved ok,

but preferred 1’s drive today. 3.Lesley: Ferrersedge Shilling JW. D.

PG 7,3

1.Brothwell: Wissant Dear Darlin. B. Nit picking in this class, either 1 or 2 could have swapped

places, liked the overall shape and balance to this bitch, clean pretty head, gentle expression,

good neck and shoulders, good topline and well angled behind, moved well with drive, but just

flagged his tail a bit too much. 2.Randall: Plaiglen Sunshine with Fengrange. B. Another who

presented a good shape in profile, in good coat, good head and expression, and strong compact

body, a “fat bum” well muscled behind, but found her a tad straight in stifle, moved with gay

abandonment. 3.Beddows: Glowhill Stairway to Heaven. D,

1.Remington: Rozamie Black Pearl Jessremjul. B. Black bitch who I’ve judged before, lovely

shape in profile and good width all through her body head on, clean head of lovely shape, good

neck and shoulders, well sprung rib and good topline, short strong loin and good tailset, super

mover, showing typical cocker tail action BOB 2.Clifford: Int Ch Wyncastle’s French Quarters

Smash with Chamford H JCH ShCEx (Imp Hun). D. Spoilt for choice with another super boy who

pushed close, loved his shape when stacked and presented an overall balanced picture,

sweetest of heads and found him in good coat, moved well with good drive and another with a

“merry” tail action RBOB 3.Brothwell: Wilanorah Ticket to the Moon at Wissant. D.

ENGLISH SPRINGER SPANIEL

Junior 3,1

1.Topliss: Beresford Stand N’ Stare. D. two lovely young dogs, both tick a lot of boxes, on the day

I plumped for the movement of this boy over the bitch, he was steadier and showed a tad more

drive, liked his head shape and good body shape, coat coming along nicely for age and has good

angles both front and rear BP 2.Topliss: Beresford Stand on Ceremony. B. Sister of 1 and not

much to choose between them, another who’s shape I liked on the stack, clean lines and

balanced throughout, good angles behind with a good turn of stifle, just preferred the maturity

on the move today of the boy.

PG 3,1

1.Frusher & Slack: Chanangel When you Believe at Shersona. B. L/W bitch, Lovely shape to this

bitch overall, good head proportions, but I found her a tad shallow in her flues compared to 2nd

,

correct neck and good shoulders, well sprung rib and good topline, short strong loin, well

muscled thigh and good bend to hock, steady on the move showing straight lines both going and

coming towards, found her in good coat. 2.Topliss: Shersona I Believe in Angels at Beresford. B.

B/W boy of good type, liked his head shape, just found him a little upright in shoulder on the

stack today, good topline and well developed rear, another in coat, moved well showing clean

lines.

1.Weyman: More Than Amazing Wanna be a Gangster at Spuffing JW (Imp Bel). D. I’ve judged

this boy before and he’s improving with age, liked his head shape with gentle expression, strong

neck set on well laid shoulders, well sprung rib and level topline, strong short loin and correct

angles to his well muscled rear quarters, found him in good coat today, lovely mover, straight to

and fro, showing super drive and reach. Pleased to award him BOB and G4 from a very strong

group 2.Topliss: Sh Ch Bereford Lockdown. D. Lovely dog unlucky to come against 1 today, liked

his shape when settled and stacked, good head and clean through neck and shoulder, good

topline and in plenty of coat, good angles behind which allowed him to drive around the ring,

just preferred the steadiness of 1 today. 3.Frusher: Dexbenella Fenella at Shersona. B.

AVNSC GUNDOG

Puppy 4,0

1.Glover: Yankeetank Princess Ida at Mickcals. Am Cock Sp. B. Black bitch, lovely shape for a

puppy, not over the top and no exaggeration in body shape, clean head with a clear defined

stop, good neck and well laid sloping shoulders, good rib for age, short loin and good topline

with correct slight even slope, strong behind and good coat for her age, steady on the move,

presenting a good picture both in profile and on the up and down BP 2.Sutton, Whitehead &

Whitehead: Foxriver Immortal Spirit. Curly Coated Ret. D. Still a raw young pup, but loads of

potential, lovely shape and size for his age, good head and correct front assembly, liked his

topline and rear quarters muscling up nicely, in good coat with tight crisp curls, steady on the

move for his age. 3.Bradley: Nyllaup Oregon Sunstone. IWS. D.

1.Darby: Crumpsbrook Anneke to Incadar. Large Munster. B. Just 12mths old, but looking

mature for her age, Well balanced throughout, feminine head with kind expression, good body

shape and mature on the move, strong yet graceful. 2.Whitehead: Foxriever Sea Fyre. Curly

Coated. B. Young curly who appeared spooked on the day, liked her shape and size and in good

coat, but she struggled today, not the movement of 1. Showed good lines when she settled, but

couldn’t give her anymore today.

1.Drozdova: Malik Team Del Crepo (Imp Srb). Brittany. D. Liked this boy in profile, good head

shape, and short cobby body, well placed shoulders, good front assembly and tight feet, good

muscles behind and moved well in profile, found him a bit wide behind going awa,y but did

enough for me to give him RBOB

1.Bradley; Sh Ch Stanegate Stage Debut (AI) ShCEx. IWS. B. A Fab class with 3 super examples

of their relatives breeds, Loved this IWS when she walked into the ring, full of type and swagger,

good head, good neck set of well placed shoulders, lovely barrel rib allowing plenty of heart

room, good topline and found her dripping in coat, lovely angles behind and moved with a

swagger about her, plenty of reach and drive. Please to award her BOB and G2. 2.Stevenson: Sh

Ch Mymmsbrook Matador With Blythway JW. WSS. D. Felt sorry for this boy coming against the

water spaniel in such good form, Beautiful head and expression, good neck and front assembly,

well sprung rib and short loin, If I’m being picky I would prefer a tad more rise over his loin,

strong rear quarters, moved with drive, showing nice straight lines. 3.Williams & Drozdova: Sh

Ch Bonapartist Peaky Blinder Avec Aukskara. Brittany. D.

1.Taylor: Swiss Sh Ch Fabpoint Pagan Throught Pointoak WW23 (Imp Prt). Port Pointer. B. What a

find, Super head with good 3:2 proportions of skull to muzzle, strong clean neck and well laid

shoulders, good rib, and short strong loin, good topline, well muscled behind and with good

angles, clean mover, perfect footfall and showing strength behind, but also graceful. Although

on her own in the class it was my pleasure to give her BOB, and ultimately the Gundog Group.

Pleased to hear she went RBiS

1.Beecham: Grafskoe Gnezdo Arlo (Imp) Bracco. D. impressive W/O boy who came into the ring

with the “look at me” attitude, clean head of good shape and size with correct head planes,

strong neck and well laid shoulders, deep well sprung ribs, good topline to him and short strong

loin, muscled backend and liked his angles when stood, Straight and true on the move showing

good drive from behind and excellent reach in front. 2.Mcmahon: Ir Sh Ch Silverkelvin Jupiter

Over Magdala CW22. Weim. D. Liked this dog when he came in, screamed Weimaraner, lovely

shape with a deep chest , good topline, short loin yet correct length to his body, steady on the

move showing good drive behind. 3.Wilson: Hameldowntor Music Of The Night VW. Flat coated.

topline, found him in good coat, muscular behind with well bent stifle, benefitted from opening

up the ring showing a super gait in profile. 4.Weyman: More Than Amazing Wanna be a Gangster

1.Stilgoe & Fox: Teisgol Sweet William. Pointer. D. o/w Super young boy who I’ve had the

pleasure of judging before, best of heads, all Pointer with no coarseness, loved his body shape

with good topline, super shape to his rear quarters, moved with a steadiness that defies his age.

2.Harvey-Major: State Park in Linjor. Lab Ret. D. Yellow boy of a good type, Liked his shape and

size for his age, clean head and well placed shoulders, well sprung ribs and good topline, good

width across his loin and hammy rear quarters, otter like tail and found him in excellent coat,

clean and tidy on the move showing good drive behind for a pup. 3.Angus: Edelmidpoint

Silhouette For Sparkenhoe. GSP. B. B/W bitch of a good type, feminine head with a lovely kind

eye, liked her body shape when stood, no exaggeration to her topline, short loin and a slight

slope from croup to tailset, good angles behind and liked her free flowing movement. 4.Upton:

King Fox to Tragus. D.

BORDER TERRIER

Puppy 2,1

1.Jordan-Smith: Jordith Vespera. B. Stood alone, but a real sweetie, fine through body, good

otter head, good neck and shoulders, spanned around rib, and harsh jacket, racy behind and

moved well for a youngster.

Junior 4,1

1.Jordan-Smith: Jordith Serenella. B. Sister to Puppy winner and like peas in a pod, beautiful

head, correct shoulders and good rib, harsh coat and thick skin, liked her overall body shape,

good hind quarters, straight and true on the move. Pleased to award her BP and PG2 2.Jones:

Otterholme Under The Stars. B. Loved her shape and size, but just a bit nervy for me on the day,

liked her head shape, good overall balance, but preferred movement of 1 today. 3.Gwilliams:

alert expression, good jacket to him and spanned around the rib, liked his balanced outline

good head and keen expression correct through shoulders, thicker around the rib than I would

like, harsh jacket and not an ounce of fat on him, racy behind, straight and true on the move.

1.Munday: Furythor Reluctant Villian. D. 14mth old, still developing, good outline when stood,

good head with coat coming on nicely for age, good rib and strong loin, correct double coat still

not fully mature, moved well. 2.Dawidowska: Space Rhapsody Seglavi (FCI) NAF. B. A real baby,

good shape for age, liked her head shape, good neck and shoulder, and correct body for age,

still very immature, showed glimpses of her movement when she settled.

1.Hiam: Ch Carradine Arfa Pint JW. D. Beautiful shape to this dog, balanced, lovely head of

correct shape with keen expression, strong neck set on well laid sloping shoulders, good rib and

correct topline and good tailset, found him in muscular condition behind, spritely on the move

with a free flowing action, in full harsh coat BOB 2.Lucas & Tobutt: Seveek Country Lad. D. good

head and expression, thought him shorter on the leg than 1, good topline and correct tailset,

correctly double coated, moved well. 3.Munday: Lentrica Mystic Warrior. D.

FOX TERRIER (Smooth)

1.Dolman: Bisquit VD Bismarckquelle TAF. B. A real sweetie of a 6mth old, still very immature in

body, but time on her side, beautiful head of correct shape and lovely ear set, good length to

neck and clean through shoulders and front, good rib for age, short backed and strong through

loin, steady on the move for such a youngster, BP and pleased to award her PG1

PG 1,0

1.Brookes: Zetamaz Drama Queen. B. A bitch who so remined me of my first smooth fox with her

beautifully proportioned split marked face, good neck and well assembled front with lovely

straight legs, good rib and short backed and good tail set, well muscled behind if I’m nit picking

would like a tad more bend of stifle, straight and true on the move RBOB

wedge shaped head and alert expression, slightly hunched up on the day, but when relaxed

could see his construction is sound, good rib and good tuck up, good rear quarters with good

turn of stifle, would like a bit more oomph on the move. BP. PG4

size, good head, expression and correct ear carriage, good neck set on well laid sloping

shoulders, super shape when stacked, good rib and correct topline, well muscled behind, clean

movement showing good straight lines going away and in profile RBOB

1.Walker: Wystry Depths Of Glory For Sizlin JE. D. Super looking dog as he entered the ring, good

head of a lovely wedge shape, good neck and good shoulders, straight front legs and tight hare

like feet showing distinctive thumb print on his “wrists”, well sprung ribs, good topline and short

strong loin, muscled rear quarters, and liked his angles with good turn of stifle, good reach on

the move in profile and liked his straight lines on the up and down, did enough in the challenge

for me to award him BOB over the PG.

impressive male, good proportions to head and strong jaw and a glint in his eye, strong neck of

good length, well placed shoulders and good front, deep in rib and level topline, good tailset,

and strong rear quarters, dense harsh coat on him, move well with good drive behind BOB

her in excellent coat, good head with a hint of devilment in her eyes, clean neck and shoulders,

level backed and liked her shape behind, straight and true on the move, would like a tad weight

on her RBOB

before and she doesn’t falter with age, best of shapes when stacked, found her in good coat and

excelled in her movement, straight and true and showing great propulsion BV 2.Sanderson:

Esgia Highland Laddie. D. Skye Terrier. D. As the Standard says, Long and Low, super shape to

this male, in full coat, good head with correct pricked ears, strong neck and good length to body,

clean on the move. Pleased to award him G4 later on. 3.Edington-Hall: Wendaire Kissed By An

Angel JW ShCM ShCEx VW. Airedale. B.

TERRIER GROUP

1.Crawley: Ragus War Paint. Norwich. D. A proper little bobby dazzler, lovely head shape that

screams Norwich, good eye and correct ear carriage, Strong neck set on well laid shoulders,

correct body shape, short backed and strong, short loin, super movement, nothing exaggerated

and straight lines both going away and coming towards. Found him in the best of coats, harsh

and wirey with a good undercoat. 2.Brookes: Ch Zetamaz I’m Your Man JW ShCEx OSW. Smooth

Fox Terrier. D. 3.Bettis: Ch Nunneley Hopscotch Over Ornella JW ShCEx OSW. Sealyham Terrier.

B. Lovely Oblong shape when stacked to this girl, good head and expression, thick, muscular

neck of good length, well sprung rib and correct length to body, well muscled behind and good

tailset, brisk movement showing good drive behind. 3.Sanderson: Esgia Highland Laddie. D.

Skye Terrier. D. As per Vet 2.

TERRIER PUPPY GROUP

1.Dolman: Bisquit VD Bismarckquelle TAF. B. Smooth Fox Terrier. 2.Jordan-Smith: Jordith

Serenella. B. Border Terrier. 3.Gee: Watercroft Goldfinch. D. Norfolk Terrier. Cracking little dog

unlucky not to be placed higher, compact in body with a short back and under his excellent

harsh coat, is a well muscled rear with a good turn of stifle, which propelled him around the
