A big thank you to the committee for the invite to judge at this well run show. A fabulous entry of
Terriers to go over. Thank you to the exhibitors for coming under me.
TERRIER GROUP
1. Ramus: Tulawyn Garretson by Onthill. Border. D. Stood out in a lovely entry of Borders
and didn’t disappoint in the group. He has the best of otter shaped heads, good front
assembly, and good rib that spanned well, found him with a super harsh tight jacket,
muscular yet racy hindquarters, super gait on him, straight and true on the up and down
and effortless in profile. Pleased to award him BOB and G1.
2. Nash: Earthtaw Owain The Celt At Raphiggy JW. Norfolk. D. A super compact black and
tan boy. Lovely head set on strong neck and well placed shoulders, super body shape,
compact with short back and strength to his loin and rear quarters, found him with a
harsh wire coat and good tail set, brisk on the move with a driving action behind.
3. Ruffles: Holbam Midsummer Knight at Ruffmar (AI) JW. Irish Terrier. D. Although stood
alone in his breed classes, thoroughly deserving of his BOB and G3, good head shape
with it being long and narrow and with a sparkle in his eyes, good length to neck, clean
front assembly, liked his shape when stacked and his straight lines on the move, harsh
jacket on him.
4. O’Connell: Letoha Maid in Italy. Welsh Terrier. B. Find of the day, hard to believe this
firecracker is only 11mths old. Lovely head with super ear carriage, good neck, long
sloping shoulders, and straight forelegs, good rib for age, short backed and soundness
behind, straight and true on the move and found her with a proper terrier temperament.
Couldn’t deny her BOB, BPIB G4 and PG1.
