I would like to thank the officers and committee for asking me to judge at your prestigious show. A thanks must also go to my two stewards who kept the ring running smoothly. A big thank you to the exhibitors for your lovely entry. There were some tough decisions and you all showed good sportsmanship which was nice to see. Finally thank you to the Chihuahua Club of Scotland for sponsoring my classes. 

Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) Puppy Dog (5)

1st & BPIB - Conway’s Silverchi Tonight We Dance, 6mth old fawn who caught my eye as he entered the ring. He was so alert and happy that he was clearly enjoying himself in the ring. Well rounded skull with definite stop. Dark eyes and well set large ears that he used well. Forelegs straight with a level back and good hindquarters. Feet small and dainty. Tail set high and never stopped wagging. Moved with drive round the ring saying look at me. Will watch with interest.

2nd Lynch’s Arkoschi Rite Here Rite Now another 6mth old who was unlucky to meet one today. It could have gone either way but for me 1 was more outgoing and confident. Dainty and compact with a good brisk movement when going round the ring. Head well rounded and muzzle moderately short. Ears large and set well apart. Neck of medium length into well laid shoulders. Level back and tail set high. Hocks well let down and nice feet that were small and dainty. Another one to watch with interest.

1st Hartley & Fahey, Messrs Zoomeera Home & Dry 13mth old with a nice apple dome head, Dark Eyes and Large, well set ears. Jaws strong with complete scissor bite. Straight Forelegs and strong pasterna. Hocks well let down and a good turn of stifle. Tail set high and moved round the ring with a brisk action and good drive. 

2nd Maclean’s Bellino Azure Bella Note 6mth old who was more settled in this class than the puppy class. Good skull with nice dark large eyes and definite stop. Neck of medium length, well laid shoulders and straight forelegs. Feet dainty and small with nails short. Moved nicely round the ring when he was more settled.

1st & Best Dog Stading’s Toltechi’s Dante Le Poete JW 16mth old Tri Colour who owned the ring and the challenge. Good apple dome head with strong jaws and lean cheeks. Ears large, flaring and set at the correct angle. Neck slightly arched going into well laid shoulders and good depth of chest. Level back that was held on the move. Muscular hindquarters that gave him drive when moving. Brisk movement with good reach at the front. 

2nd Kerr’s Silverchi Island Dreaming From Rhinns 2 year old who was not as confident as one. Head of good proportions with dark eyes and large ears. Straight forelegs and flexible pasterns. Level back with well sprung ribs. Hindquarters muscular and tail set high on the move. Moved nicely round the ring.

1st and BVIB Kerr’s Silverchi Charlie Chan From Rhinns 8 year old male with an apple dome head, good large ears that were flaring. Definite stop and muzzle moderately short. Neck slightly arched. Straight forlegs, well sprung rings and body slightly longer than height. Hocks well let down and a good turn of stifle. Moved with drive round the ring.

1st and BPB Silverstein’s Misty Meadow’s Wish Come True for Silverchi (IMP IT) 10mth old tri colour who was so delightful to go over. Large flaring ears set on a nice apple dome skull. Short muzzle and definite stop. Straight forelegs that showed good reach when on the move. Level back and well sprung ribs. Hocks well let down, feet dainty and flexible pasterns. Tail set high. Moved with a brisk action round the ring. 

2nd Emmerson’s Ismirelle’s Smooth Move 7mth old who moved lovely round the ring. Head of good proportions with large ears and dark eyes. Neck slightly arched going into well laid shoulders. Feet dainty and small. Body slightly longer than height and level. Good turn of stifle and tail of medium length. Moved round the ring with a brisk action.

Well sprung ribs and level back. Straight forelegs and well laid shoulders. Good turn of stifle and muscular 2nd thigh. Moved round the ring with a brisk action and keeping her topline. 

2nd Conway’s Silverchi Dixie Darling 13mth old who was not as confident at first but once she settled she really showed herself. Body slightly longer than height. Level back and nice tail set. Head of good proportions with a moderately short muzzle and dark eyes. Forelegs straight with strong pasterns. Moved round the ring nicely and you could see her grow in confidence throughout the class.

1st Silverstein’s Silverchi Endless Love Lovely head with good ears and nice dark eyes and definite stop. Good spring of ribs and level back. Straight forelegs and small, dainty feet. Muscular hindquarters with hocks well let down. Tail set good and wagged her tail on the move. Moved round the ring with some drive and brisk action.

1st and BOB Gray’s Hughgra Chiquitita 4 year old who owned this class. Apple shaped head with well set, large, flaring ears. That she used well. Dark eyes, stong jaw and complete scissor bite. Nice neck leading into well laid back shoulders and good depth of chest with well sprung ribs. Level topline that stayed in tact on the move. Tail set high and always given an impression of I am here look at me. Moved round the ring with a brisk action and good drive in the hindquarters. Pleased to award her BOB. 

2nd Stading’s Stadmeyer Jesslyn JW Good head proportions with dark eyes and moderately short muzzle. Straight forelegs with good pasterns and short nails. Level back leading into strong hindquarters with well let down hocks and good turn of stifle. Mover nicely round the ring saying look at me.

1st and BPD Russell’s Chirouxe Major Tom 8mth fawn who was alert. Well rounded head with nice dark eyes and a definite stop. Shoulders well laid back and straight forelegs. Level back and strong hocks. Feet small and dainty with flexible pasterns. Tail set good when used. Moved round the ring lovely and alert to his handler. 

2nd Emmerson’s Ismirelle Dont Giva Fluf another 8mth old who used his ears well. Apple dome head with large ears, definite stop and showed a nice expression. Body longer than height leading into nice hindquarters and good tail set. Moved round the ring with ease and made a presence.

1st Gilling’s Rubyanlo Tommy Hilfiger 13mth old youngster with a lot to like. Head well rounded with apple dome shape. Well set feathered ears. Dark eyes and definite stop. Shoulders well laid back leading into straight forelegs. Good depth of chest, level back and hocks well let down. Tail long with some feathering. Moved with a brisk action round the ring. 

2nd O’Neill’s Chirolin Tik Tok 16mth old with a lovely coat. Nice head proportions with feathering on the large ears. Dark eyes and moderately short muzzle. Well sprung ribs and body longer than height. Hindquarters muscular and well let down hocks. Tail carried well and full as a plume. Moved well round the ring.

1st Emmerson’s Jahneemahs Good Luck Charm 2 year old fawn boy with dark eyes set in a nice well rounded skull, lean cheeks and definite stop. Showed a lovely expression. Good ruff on the neck of medium length leading into well laid shoulders. Straight forelegs, strong pasterns and dainty feet. Good bend of stifle and strong 2nd thigh. Tail well feathered and carried over the back. Moved round the ring with a nice free flowing action. 

2nd Todd-Mccoid’s Bramver’s Fresh Cream Over Rubyanlo another fawn boy who was unlucky to meet one today. Good apple dome head with moderately short muzzle, dark eyes and large feathered ears. Good depth of chest, straight forelegs and flexible pasterns. Level back which he held on the move. Nice plume on the tail. Moved round the ring well.

1st & BOB Sangster’s CH Kirlasidh Young Pretender I liked this boy. He commanded my attention in the ring and was a pleasure to go over. Lovely well shaped head with ears in the correct position and showed alertness all the time. Dark eyes showing a lovely expression. Jaws strong and cheeks lean. Slightly arched neck, well sprung ribs and deep brisket. Forelegs straight with strong but flexible pasterns. Strong hindquarters and well let down hocks. Tail carried well, full of plume. Moved round the ring with a brisk action and commanded your attention. Pleased to award him BOB.

2nd Symon’s Bramerita Here’s Trouble At Charabri 7 year old veteran who has a lot to like about him. Well proportioned head with lovely large eyes that showed an intelligent expression. Moderately short muzzle, definite stop, lovely teeth and strong jaws. Body as long as height with a deep chest and strong muscular hindquarters. Tail set well. Moved round the ring like a youngster and good drive holding his level back.

2nd Hunter’s CH Jotolemar Best Of Time 7 year old female who has a lovely coat. Nice well rounded apple dome head with short muzzle and definite stop. Ears large and set well. Straight forelegs, good depth of chest and level back. Feet small and dainty. Tail carried well and good bend of stifle. Moved round the ring with a lovely action and full of life. 

Chihuahua (Long Coat) Puppy Bitch (8, 2ab)

1st & BPIB Silverstein’s Bramerita If I Ain’t Got You 9mth old fawn who made an impression in this class. She was very alert and happy to be here. Nice large dark eyes in a well proportioned head. Good ear set with nice feathering. Cheeks lean and definite stop. Neck slightly arched, Well laid back shoulders and good straight forelegs. Level back which was maintained on the move. Hocks well let down and a lovely full of plume tail. Moved round the ring with a spring in her step but showed good drive.

2nd Kerr’s Silverchi Rhapsody In Blue From Rhinns Was a little reserved compared to one but when she was more settled she did really well. Good head proportions, nice muzzle and well set ears. Body slightly longer than height. Deep brisket and good hindquarters. Tail well set. Moved round the ring nicely.

1st Hunter’s Jotolemar Time To Shine Blue 13mth old who was very alert and had a lovely expression. Head of good size and proportion. Nice front with Straight forelegs and strong pasterns. Well laid back shoulders and good depth of chest. Level back and good tail set. Hocks well let down. Moved round the ring with drive. 

2nd Gilling’s Rubyanlo Cherry Bon Bon Of Talocan another nice girl with an alert expression and really happy. Apple dome head, dark eyes and large ears. Straight forelegs, well sprung ribs and level back. Good turn of stifle and a lovely full of plume tail. Moved round the ring well.

1st & Best Bitch Hunter’s Jotolemar Evie Time For Fun 2 year olds fawn with a beautiful tail and so much to like. Her head was in proportion with well set ears, moderately short muzzle and lean cheeks and jaw. Ruff on her neck leading into well laid shoulders, well sprung ribs and straight forelegs. Feet small and dainty with short nails. Body slightly longer with level topline. Strong hindquaters with good turn of stifle. Tail full of plume and carried well. Moved round the ring with great presence and drive. 

2nd Russell’s Chirouxe Moonage Daydream unlucky to meet one today. Lovely shaped head with large ears and dark round eyes. Jaws, strong and nice teeth. Straight forelegs. Pasterns are flexible and strong. Level back, good turn of stifle and nice tail set. Moved round the ring nicely.

1st Sangster’s Kirlasidh Secret Liaison 4 year old who clearly loved her handler. She was very alert and had a sweet expression. Nice well rounded skull with feathered ears. Muzzle moderately short and definite stop. Forelegs were straight and this allowed her to move well. Level back, deep brisket and well sprung ribs. Well let down hocks and good 2nd thigh. Moved round the ring well with a brisk action. Handler was very gentle with her and very attentive.

2nd Hunter’s Jotolemar Ellie’s Time JW 3 year old who was small and dainty in size. Good head proportions, dark eyes and moderately short muzzle. Feet small and dainty and pasterns strong. Level back and good depth of chest. Strong hindquarters which allowed her to have some drive. Tail well feathered and carried well. Moved round the ring with ease. 

Yorkshire Terrier Puppy (1)

1st and BPIB Robert’s Shawhills It’s Pawsible 6mth old puppy full of fun and just wanting to be everyone's friend. Head small and of good proportions. Dark medium eyes and small V-Shaped ears. Well laid shoulders and level back. Moderate turn of stifle and a nice tail. Moved round the ring clearly having such fun and enjoying her time in the ring. 

Yorkshire Terrier Post Graduate (4)

1st Mackay’s Denkevs Nick Nack Paddy Wack 12mth old who was very pleasing on the eye. Well set V shaped ears on a nice small and flat skull. Muzzle of good length. Dark eyes with an intelligent expression. Good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders. Legs straight with nice golden tan hair. Level back with moderate spring of rib. Tail of sufficient length and a nice coat overall. Still time to develop but he is lovely. 

2nd Williamson’s Joangelz Just The Way You Are At Dunsapie 2 year old who was another nice looking dog. She had the most sweetest expression but was very alert. Head was small and the ears were set well. Good reach of neck and well laid shoulders. Compact body with good loin and moderate spring of rib. Beautifully presented and moved round the ring with a free flowing action. 

Yorkshire Terrier Limit (2, 1ab)

1st Stading’s Joangelz Delilah Avec Stadmeyer Lovely girl who is still a youngster but is very likeable. Dark eyes and V-shaped ears on a well proportioned head. Good reach of neck and Level back with good loin. Moderate turn of stifle and good length of tail. Moved round the ring with straight action. Coat fine and silky.

1st and BOB Robert’s CH Shawhills Paws For Thought 2 year old who although stood alone could not be denied BOB. Small head with tan v shaped ears that were erect, muzzle of good length and dark eyes that sparkled. Good reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders and straight legs that are covered with rich golden hair. Moderate ribs and level topline, good hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle. Most beautiful coat that was silky and glossy. Moved round the ring with drive. 

Papillon Puppy Dog (1)

1st and BPD Wilachans Greatest Showman For Davankirk 8mth old tri colour with a beautiful head that you could clearly see the butterfly shape. Skull slightly rounded, with large ears and fringing. Dark medium sized eyes and fine muzzle. Shoulders are starting to develop nicely, forelegs straight. Level topline and well turned stifle. Tail arched over the back and a nice coat. Moved lovely round the ring. 

Papillon Post Graduate Dog (7, 1ab)

1st and BOB Davidson’s Elmaraine Guards Piper 2 year old tri colour who showed non stop for his handler. Well balanced dog with a lovely well proportioned head. Large ears that are heavily fringed and well set. Dark and medium sized eyes. Jaws strong with complete scissor bite. Good reach of neck with shoulders well developed. Deep chest and well sprung ribs. Forelegs straight and showed good reach on the move. Level back and well developed hindquarters. Tail well fringed and arched over the back. Moved round the ring with a free flowing movement. 

2nd Black’s Amicae Play With Fire younger than 1st but still a lot to like. Very attentive to his handler, alert and had a lovely expression. Head of good proportions with a clearly defined blaze. Well fringed ears. Straight forelegs, good depth of chest and level back. Abundant coat and well fringed tail. Moved round the ring with ease. 

Papillon Open Dog (6, 1ab)

1st Whitehill’s Northlyte Buffalo Bill 2 year old tri colour who had an abundance of coat. Large ears with good fringing. Medium sized eyes and finely pointed muzzle, well defined stop and good teeth. Neck of medium length, forelegs straight with elbows close to chest. Level topline, strong loins and well turned stifle. Hare like feet and tail well fringed, carried over the back. Moved round the ring with a free flowing action. 

2nd Watson’s Asan Mersana (IMP POL) was unlucky to meet one today. It was very close and I was splitting hairs between them. On the day it was the movement of one. Lovely shaped head with a clearly defined blaze, well fringed ears and nice dark eyes. Well defined stop and strong jaws. Level topline and well sprung ribs. Good hindquarters and lovely tail. Coat in abundance. Moved round the ring well. 

Papillon Veteran Dog/Bitch (1)

1st Best Bitch and BVIB 10 year old bitch in super condition for her age. Head of symmetrical proportions with a clearly defined blaze, large ears with not as much fringing but still looks good. Head slightly rounded and nice fine muzzle. Teeth lovely for an older dog. Neck of medium length and well laid shoulders. Forelegs straight and hare like feet. Fairly long body with level topline. Legs parallel at the back. NIce coat and moved round the ring with ease. 

Papillon Puppy Bitch (3)

1st & BPIB Davidson’s Afterglow Snug As A Bug At Elmaraine 9 month old tri colour who was very unsettled to begin with but once she settled on the move she really showed herself off. Head of good proportions and large well fringed ears. Clearly defined stop, dark eyes and well defined stop, Forelegs straight and elbows close to chest. Well sprung ribs and level topline. Well turned stifle and parallel legs. Tail of good length and arched over the back.

2nd Whitehill’s Feyeta Love In The Mist 6mth old who was unlucky to meet one today. Showing the typical papillon style of being lively and so friendly. She was full of fun. Head of nice proportions, clearly defined stop and lovely ears. Forelegs straight and level topline. Nice tail carried over the back. Moved round the ring clearly having fun but once settled moved well. 

Papillon Post Graduate Bitch (2, 1ab)

1st Taylor’s Pamhurst Pretty Petal 2 year old with nice head proportions, well defined stop and medium sized eyes. Ears large with nice fringing. Level topline and good spring of rib. Hare like feet and straight forelegs. Hindquarters well developed and tail well fringed carried over the back. Abundance of coat. Moved round the ring nicely. 

Papillon Open Bitch (2, 1ab)

1st Taylor’s Pamhurst Ae Fond Kiss clearly enjoying her day out and having some fun in the ring. Well fringed ears, medium sized eyes, fine muzzle and slightly rounded skull. Medium length neck and level topline. Forelegs straight and well-turned stifle. Moved with ease round the ring.
