I would like to thank the committee for their kind invitation to judge their show! It was lovely to be able to assess some dogs I would never usually get the chance to as I am not a local lady. I would like to note that all my Dachshunds were outstanding representations of their breeds and I will be following all of them very closely from now on! All dogs on the day were total credits to their breeds and owners.
Golden Retriever Puppy (2:0)
1, Archibald’s ABINVALE AMORE VINCIT OMINA
This young girl really caught my eye, beautiful feminine head with strong muzzle, dark pigment, soft expression, correct ear set, good length of neck leading to a lovely lay of shoulder, straight front, ample bone, good depth of rib, level topline, well muscled with a lovely bend of stifle, shown in excellent coat, a beautiful mover who pushed very hard for BOB but she needs some more maturity to really finish the picture, I was delighted to see her go on to win the puppy group and then best puppy in show under two very respected breed specialists! I will continue to follow this girl closely, she was a wonderful start to my day. BPIB, PG1, BPIS.
2, Archibald’s ABINVALE CUM LAUDE
The litter brother of the winner and he shares the same wonderful qualities, it is going to take him more time than his sister to mature to his full potential.

2, Biggerstaff-Moore’s YELDAEH’S MR HEARWUUD TO BENZARA
A baby who has had a fright in the past, he has some lovely qualities akin to 1 but is needing more time to mature, overall he was a very good example of a youngster in the breed and I hope his little fright from a previous encounter doesn’t have too much of a negative impact.
