Huge congratulations to everyone involved in resurrecting the show, it was lovely to see how well appreciated it was to the Southern show circuit. Thank you to the very hard-working steward who ran the ring very smoothly.

Thank you to all the exhibitors who braved the cold to show their lovely dogs under me today, whilst the conditions were not ideal, in true Pointer fashion we all got on with it!

Puppy (5,1)

1st Fleurfield Henrietta Hayes at Ellapoint

10-month-old Black and White B. If I could’ve taken her home, I would’ve! Beautiful puppy. She is so well balanced for one so young, with just the right amount of curves. Such an honest, no frills bitch. Pretty head, long neck into well set shoulders. She moved steadily around the ring. BP, RBOB and Gundog Puppy Group 1!

2nd Tenshilling Let’s Pretend with Prosperity

9-month-old Black and White B. Unfortunately, today she tried her best to be as uncooperative as possible. Very typical puppy. Good head with a bright and kind expression. Good amount of neck into a decent set of shoulders. Not as forward as the winner in movement but the weather was not in her favour today.

3rd Lambleaze Sea Holly

4th Piasharn Mary Read

Junior (2,0)

1st Droveborough Witchy Woman JW

12-month-old Liver and White B. I believe I judged her at one of her first outings in puppy earlier in the year. I’m pleased to see how she has matured into a lovely young lady. She is eye catching on the stack and move. She has a pleasing well developed head with a lovely expression. Long neck going into well set shoulder. She has all the graceful curves the standard calls for. Nice short bee-sting tail.

2nd Tenshilling Let’s Pretend with Prosperity

See puppy.

Yearling (1,0)

1st Hookwood Hawker

19-month-old Black and White D. He wasn’t keen on the wet and cold ring today, who could blame him! Level topline and good rear angulation. Going through that awkward stage currently with his lanky-ness but once finished he should turn into a graceful swan, just needs time.

Post Graduate (5,1)

1st Alozia Zantini

2-year-old Liver and White B. I have watched this young bitch grow and mature in self since she was young and wanted to get my hands on her. I was so glad I was finally able to do it! She has an aristocratic, almost snobby expression when she looks straight through you. She is a series of graceful curves. A no-nonsense bitch who you could see doing a days work. BOB and Group 2!

2nd Freebreeze Pixar at Prosperity

3-year-old Orange and White B. I’ve judged her a couple of times now and she keeps getting better. Today, I just felt she was as positive moving as she has been in the past, however again this was probably down to the weather. She has a very pretty head. Graceful long neck. Well-muscled all through.

3rd Keepersfield Simone

4th Alozia Zephryne

Limit (3,0)

1st Nightgold Pipkin

6-year-old Liver and White B. Another I’ve judged before. She doesn’t always show herself off but today she stepped it up a little. Well defined head, good neck into well-muscled shoulder. She is symmetrical and well balanced.

2nd Droveborough’s Mocha Mayhem

5-year-old Liver and White B. An honest bitch, slightly taller than I would prefer but still balanced. Nice head and moved well.

3rd Tyremy Masekla at Lambleaze
