Lancashire Heelers

Junior (4,0)

1st Grant-Parkes’ Parabar Posy’s Pawnee BOB

Quality 17 mths b/t male of correct size and nicely balanced length to height. He has a very pleasing head and expression with broad flat skull, erect ears, dark almond shaped eyes, moderate stop, skull and muzzle of equal length and parallel, good underjaw and dentition. Muscular neck into well laid shoulders with good length of upper arm and tight elbows, straight front, good depth of chest, ribcage well sprung, short loin, level topline held on the move, high set tail, good bend of stifle and well let down hocks, He moved freely with good reach and drive and stood foursquare at all times, very attentive to his handler.

2nd Davies’ Parabar Posy’s Pocahontas Piparlo

I was not surprised to find this girl was the litter sister to 1st as she shares many of his attributes but in a feminine frame. She too has an appealing expression with correct balance of skull to muzzle, well defined stop, dark almond shaped eyes set wide apart and well carried erect ears. Her conformation is good with balanced angles at both ends, enough depth of chest, ribcage extends well back, level topline, short loin, good tail set and carriage. She too moved soundly from all angles.

3rd Cutler’s Lankeela Jack Daniels

Postgraduate (3,1)

1st Parabar Posy’s Pawnee

2nd Grant-Parkes’ Parabar Posy’s Powwow

Yet another from the same litter, a shade smaller than his 1st placed brother. Attractive head of correct proportions, moderate stop, dark almond shaped eyes, and well placed ears carried semi-erect. Moderate length of neck, level topline and high set well carried tail, not quite the angulation of 1st which showed in his movement. Was more settled and cooperative with his handler in this class and showed himself to better advantage.

Limit (1,0)

1st Cutler’s Lankeela Frosty Knickers, RBOB

Feminine bitch, nice for size and substance with good body proportions. Her head handles well with flat skull of good width, moderate stop and parallel planes of skull to muzzle, dark almond shaped eyes and neatly tipped ears. Neck of good length , well laid shoulder and return of upper arm, good depth of chest, and spring of rib, short loin, level topline, well set and carried tail, good bend of stifle and well let down hocks enabled her to move with reach and drive.

Open (1,1)

1st Cutler’s Trogwood Rio Round Lankeela

Nearly 8 years old dam of the Limit winner and very similar in outlook. Flat skull with muzzle of equal length, enough stop, well placed and carried ears, and dark almond shaped eye, all combining to give a lively expression. Good depth of chest and ribcage, short loin, level topline and high tail set. She has well turned stifles but would prefer her to be a shade shorter in hocks for complete balance. Moved true with brisk action.
