South Of England Gundog Club
Thank you to the committee for the kind invitation to judge at this lovely show.
Some of the dogs struggled to move out as well as their construction would indicate on the shiny surface. I therefore had to make some allowances for this.
Bracco Italiano Some of the dogs struggled to move out on this floor. As this breed has a distinctive action, I had to make some allowances for this.

1st Sladden’s Canemamans Final Blow
This baby really enjoyed herself and gave her handler a hard time. Attractive head with good length of neck and deep rib. Well bent stifle and short rear pasterns. Quality oval bone and tight feet. BP

1st Gatefield’s Heinaaron L’Ultra Dimensione (AI) (Imp Fin)
Long head of good proportion and soft expression. His angulation is balanced both ends and he shows good depth and width of rib. Moderate rear and good tailset. Enough bone but would prefer more arch to his feet. He struggled to get going on the move.
Post Graduate (1)
1st Sladden’s Canemamans Two Timer JW
Nicely sculpted head with oval, well set eye. He has a moderately short neck leading to well placed shoulders. He is still a young dog and needs to mature through the body but he shows balance in his front and rear angulation with quality bone and short rear pasterns. He moved ok once he steadied himself. RBOB.

Puppy (4)
1st Welch, Drake & Upon’s Corotine Noir Blosson with Hookwood
My notes say stunning! Graceful curves from nose to tail. Beautiful head of good proportion. Long, clean neck into her well place shoulders. Her body is well developed for her age with well sprung ribs and slightly arched loin. Her elbows are well placed to give free flowing forward reach. Her rear is well turned with good width of thigh. She has quality bone and well knit feet. She did her best to throw it away on the move, being a little exuberant, but she got it together enough to award her this class, BP & BOB. Good luck with her!
2nd Cardiff’s Tenshilling Let’s Pretend with Prosperity
This girl is of a different type to 1 and has lots to like. Her head is a little wider in skull but not over done. Good length of neck and nice lay of shoulder. She shows depth of rib with gradual fall going into her short coupling. On the move she was more together in front than 1 but lost out on profile movement.
