I would like to thank the officers and committee of Newark & District Canine Society for offering me the opportunity to judge at this well run and friendly show. A big thank you to my friendly stewards who were very efficient.

Bedlington Terriers

Puppy (4 entries/1 absent)

1st Offer Mrs A Woolytop The Phezantplukka. 11 months old male, presented in excellent condition and perfect presentation. Masculine and top size for breed, but all in proportion and nothing exaggerated. Correct profile on the move with correct classic Bedlington mincing movement in all directions. Correct stifle angulation and hocks well let down. Correct eye, ears, pads, dentition and coat.

2nd Ellis Mr P & Mrs L Fralex Culibre Jacquetta. 6.5 month old female at her first show. She was so well behaved and took everything in her stride. Well presented and handled well. Pleasing movement, showing lots of promise.

3rd Baldwin Ms SE & Mr MD. Woolytop Here I Am

Junior (1 entry)

1st Baldwin Ms SE & Mr MD Woolytop Here I Am. 11 month old female, litter sister to BOB & BP. Feminine with correct narrow shaped head and all in proportion. Forequarters clean with enough bone, lovely neck and clean correct shoulder placement. Correct bend of stifle. Correct tail carriage and length. Pads and feet correct, Correct eye. Well handled and presented to perfection.

Post Graduate (3 entries/2 absent)

1st Lowe Mrs J &Mr R Bisbee Bulldozer with Tessarion. 2 year old male. Well presented and lovely correct movement. Stood a little wide at rear on the table, but corrected on the floor. Correct ear set with correct presentation and texture. Hocks well let down and correct bend of stifle. Perhaps a little more muscle would complete the picture. Excelled in neck and his clean shoulders, presenting a correct front. Correct eye and no concerns with dentition. Reserve BOB.

Open – (4 entries/2 absent)

1st Baldwin Ms SE & Mr MD. Woolytop Leading Lady. A little unsettled for her handler today. 5 year old girl presented in good condition. Lovely soft linty coat of correct texture, correctly set ears that were well presented. Correct shape head, pleasing eye. Correct angulation to front and rear, reflecting correct movement once settled.

2nd Porter-Manning & Porter Mrs AR & Mr G Woolytop Secret Wispa Among Wallaroo JW 4 year old female, also unsettled at times. Balanced and all in proportion, missed out to 1st as I preferred her topline.
