I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for their very kind invitation to judge at their Open Show. I had an enjoyable time judging and wish to thank the exhibitors for their entries.

Puppy (2)

1st: Butterstone: Mopszwawa’s Heartbreaker for Joshotto

Impressive 10-month fawn black masked male stood proudly showing off a lovely profile. Handsome headpiece, large expressive round dark eyes well placed. Well-proportioned head to body, good defined wrinkles to forehead, well set and small hung ears close to skull. Short blunt muzzle, black wide-open nostrils to nose, wide lower jaw. Firm neck, leading to a well- kept level topline good curl to tail. Good development to body, which was short and cobby, well-muscled throughout. Showed off his good angulation to his hindquarters both standing and on the move with a good drive. Lovely front movement, this young man just loved always showing himself off, very much on his toes. Please to award him BOB, BPIB, Toy Group 3 and Toy Puppy Winner.

2nd: Ede-Rolfe & Rolfe: Croftren All that Jazz

Attractive 8-month-old fawn black mask bitch. So full of fun, really enjoyed showing herself off, quite a character when going over her on the table, has a lovely happy temperament. Soft feminine head and expression, large liquid dark round expressive eyes, Good defined forehead wrinkles. Well-shaped head, ears well set to top of skull. Short blunt muzzle. Large black open nostril nose, good wide lower jaw. Lovely front, well placed shoulders, slight arched neck, leading to a straight topline, well placed curled tail. Plenty depth to a well-constructed body, good conformation overall. On the move moved freely covering the ground well with the typical slight roll to rear. Well-presented coat good texture. Two very nice puppies who should have a bright future.

1st Truelove: CH Nijacpugs Hot as Hell JW

Judged this young man and his litter brother last year, and both have come on a treat. A real showman projecting himself well, stood four square proudly displaying a lovely shapely body profile standing and on the move. Masculine well shaped head and expression, large dark round bright eyes, black mask, coal black open nostrils. Strong neck, firm topline, lovely curled tailset. Strong well-muscled body of good depth, lovely, angulated front and rear which was used to move with good drive and pace around the ring. Pleased to award him RBOB.

2nd Truelove: Nijacpugs Hot An Bothered

Similar remarks as to his litter brother, well-muscled fawn male, strong bone stood on good legs and feet. Good square cobby body, strong thick neck, flowing into a level topline, nicely placed curled tail. Handsome masculine head and expression, well placed ears, well defined wrinkles large dark round well-spaced eyes, short blunt muzzle, jet black open nostril nose, wide lower jaw. Moved smartly around the ring covering the ground well, lovely drive to the rear, steady front action.

1st Etherton: Flickan Fremlin

Endearing 10-month-old cream male, lovely and dainty well coated overall he always carried his well plumed feathered sickle tail correctly over his back. Lovely apple- domed head, good dark pigmentation to nose and well-shaped eyes, always used his fringed ears. Good length to muzzle, correct bite, alert expression. Clean neckline, leading to a straight topline, good shoulder placement, nicely bodied and boned for age. Well-presented coat of a lovely silky texture covering the body well. On the move moved in a brisk manner showing himself off well. Pleased to award him BOB and BPIB.

2nd Holland: Darnleys Barbie

Attractive 8-month-old cream bitch, sweetest of faces and expressions. Lovely shape to head good apple dome, erect flame fringed ears, good stop, good length to muzzle, correct bite. Nice length to neck, well placed shoulders, good front and rear angulations producing sound movement front and rear with lovely drive, using her tail well on the move. Well bodied throughout, good depth to chest. Soft silky coat of good length covering the body well. Again, two lovely puppies, pleased to award her RBOB.

1st Smith: Chibull Micky Mouse at Lozek

Another exhibit I judged last year and has really come on since then. Handsome 3-year-old fawn male has really matured, well- muscled throughout. On the move moved smartly and briskly around the ring, showing himself off with good drive. Handsome shapely head good apple dome flared erect ears set correctly, good length to muzzle, large round dark eyes, lovely saucy expression. Firm condition to compact body, good angulation to front and shapely hindquarters. Used his flat sickle tail all the time, displayed a happy temperament.

1st Davidson-Poston: Rom CH/Rom GR CH Davixity Bruhn Spinillons ShCEx

Eye catching 7-year-old tri male who commanded attention at all times showed very well for a different handler, very much on his toes attentive always to his new handler. In lovely condition, glossy black coat, firm well shaped compact body and topline, Attractive mature well shaped apple dome head, dark soulful round eyes, well-shaped muzzle, used his large, flared ears well. Stood proudly showing off his well angulated body, on the move really stepped out covering the ring surface well, clean brisk movement with plenty of drive. Please to award him BOB.

2nd Davidson-Poston: Galin Hit Vegas at Chantaydan JW SLO Hope (imp UKR)

Kennel mate to winner, both males were a credit to their owner, shown in an immaculate condition both total showmen. Pushed the winner all the way, very much on his toes and was enjoying his showing, another I judged last year and has really come on. Lovely 2-year-old tri male, large masculine head, appealing saucy expression, large bright round dark eyes, well used large-flared ears carried correctly. Good use of neck carrying his head proudly, firm topline, well use of his sickle flat tail. Well-defined clean-cut profile standing and on the move. Looked proud when stepping out showing off his lovely brisk movement front and rear. Please to award him RBOB.

1st Holman: Divinity A Touch of Brooklyn at Altina

Impressive young 8-month-old orange sable male, a natural showman who always projected himself. Well-presented coat on this youngster, showing a lovely profile standing and on the move. All male foxy head and expression, lovely dark pigmentation to nose and expressive eyes. Good length to muzzle, correct bite. Small erect ears well set, short neck, good ruff surrounding head, sound front good construction and bone to body, well defined hindquarters, lovely-plumed tail carried over back. On the move moved with precise movement. Pleased to award him BPIB and Toy Puppy Winner.

2nd Hills: Sharhazlah’s Devil On Fire

Charming 8-month-old orange male, presented in a lovely coat of good length, full-plumed tail carried flat over back. Handsome well shaped well-proportioned foxy head, and expression, small- neat ears well placed. Coal black nose, nicely shaped dark eyes. Good short neck, leading into well laid shoulders, straight front, compact body, level topline, well boned throughout, good rear angulation. Moved freely around the ring showing a lovely brisk sound movement front and rear.

Stylish 14-month-old orange sable male. Lovely overall size shown in a super condition, immaculate presentation. Handsome masculine head of good shape, and lovely foxy expression, bright dark eyes, neat small ears used well. Good ruff surrounding head on a short neck, flat plumed tail covering a good level back. Good lay of shoulder and ribcage, compact body. Well defined hindquarters used to display a sound driving movement to the rear. Carried himself well always displaying his showmanship. Pleased to award him RBOB.

1st Holman: CH Altina’s Henry Higgins JW

Another orange male exhibit who filled the eye, displaying a lovely profile, total showman who just loved showing himself off. Stood proud, attentive to his handler, moved with purpose and drive with lovely brisk movement. Masculine foxy expression and head, well set dark eyes, neat small ears carried well. Large ruff surrounding head to complete the picture, short neck, firm topline, good front assembly, compact body of sound construction, lovely hindquarters, good cat shaped feet. Pleased to award him BOB and Toy Group winner.

2nd Ellen: Klassna Magic Touch

A lovely presented exhibit from this exhibitor, stylish orange sable 3-year-old male. Smart in appearance very much on his toes, lovely size and shape, good texture to coat, lovely ruff to neck, lovely plume to tail. Shapely compact body, good ribcage, level topline, well placed tailset laid flat over his back. Typical masculine foxy head and expression, good length to muzzle, well set dark eyes, nicely set neat ears. Moved very smartly around the ring with precise movement and drive.

1st Hunter & Sprague-White: Salatini Frank Sinatra

Handsome young 8-month-old white and fawn Italian Greyhound male. Elegant outline to head shape, good length to muzzle correct bite, coal black nose, large well-set eyes, masculine expression. Graceful arch to good length of neck, which he carried proudly. Good length to body, slight rise over the loin area, good depth to narrow chest, good straight front, legs and hare feet. Nicely bodied and boned throughout for age, good shaping to hindquarters and bend of stifles, well carried tail. Always stood well, on the move displayed a typical high-stepping front action and good drive from the rear. Pleased to award him Best AVNSC Puppy and Toy Puppy Group 3rd.

2nd Bartlett: Exotic Spirt Amazing Artist In love Avec Michadine NAF

A lovely 6-month-old black and white powder puff Chinese Crested male attending his first show. Exhibit was taking it all in and was enjoying himself, showed well on the table and on the ground. Most handsome headpiece, well chiselled face, good length to tapered muzzle, black nose, correct bite. Good almond shaped dark eyes, well set erect ears, long mane hair framing side of face and down neck. Graceful neckline, good lay of shoulder placements, firm topline, well coated overall in lovely condition and presentation, good shape and coverage to hindquarters. On the move really flowed around the ring showing off his profile and drive. Two very nice puppies who should have a bright future.

1st Bartlett: Exotic Spirit VVildeers Dragon Avec Michadaine JW

Attractive 17-month-old black and white powder puff Chinese Crested male, very much on his toes really showing off, just full off himself. Stylish head, charming masculine expression, expressive dark eyes, good, chiselled features, good length to muzzle, tight lips, correct bite. Good length and reach to ached neck leading into a level topline, well high set tail good plume to it carried correctly. Plenty of fore chest, true front, well sprung ribs, well put together body and hindquarters. Well-presented coat in lovely condition of good length. Moved with drive and purpose, kept a lovely clean outline on the move.

2nd Edwards: Lastayla Playful Pongo

Outgoing 14-month-old tricolour Papillon male. Full of himself plenty of character very much on his toes. Dripping in coat, ear fringing and plumed tail, well-presented soft silky coat. Handsome well proposition head, dark well shaped eyes and appealing expression. Good length to muzzle, clear blaze between eyes, large well set mobile ears. Pleasing clean neckline set onto well laid shoulders, firm topline, nicely set and well carried tail. Well-proportioned body, good bone throughout well covered. Moved round the ring with confidence and presences.

23- month-old tricoloured Papillon bitch, beautiful presented, long silky textured coat, long ear fringes, lovely, plumed tail. Gentle feminine head, face and expression. Expressive dark eyes well set and shaped, good length to muzzle, large mobile ears used well. Good outline showing excellent neck and shoulders, steady topline, well-set tail and carriage. Stood four square with a lovely balance and angulation. On the move showed a sound movement going and coming with plenty of flare. A stylish exhibit, daughter of my Toy Veteran Winner. Pleased to award her Best AVNSC Toy and Reserve Toy Group Winner.

2nd Gill: Florindale Just Magic

A real sweetheart of an exhibit, smart 2-year-old Affenpinscher bitch, who had a delightful character, very much on her toes and the real look at me appearance. Cheeky monkey expression, lovely dark sparkling eyes, dark pigmentation to open nostril nose. Lovely shape and size to head, good blunt muzzle, prominent chin with good turn up. Small, neat ears, good dome to forehead. Lovely, type who scored best in overall construction, movement, and plenty of animation. Firm topline, body and legs, carried tail well, body covered in a lovely harsh textured coat. Moved true in both directions. Pleased to award her Reserve Best AVNSC Toy.

Beautiful 3-year-old fawn Italian Greyhound bitch displayed an elegant outline overall, giving a graceful appearance especially when on the move, displaying an effortless action when going around the ring. Lovely feminine head and expression, dark pigmentation to nose and well-shaped eyes, long skull, fine muzzle. Crested neck onto well laid shoulders, true front, good depth to narrow chest, nice tuck up. Well-muscled hindquarters, good placement to tail. Well handed to display a smooth easy flowing movement and drive.

2nd Davidson-Poston: Rom CH/Rom GCH Elena Kolekcja Szuwarka Spinillons JW JCH (IKC)

2-year-old tricolour Papillon bitch of some quality, shown in an immaculate condition, in lovely bloom. So full of herself, lovely, delightful temperament, who showed with great confidence and fun when on the move around the ring, kept her handler working when standing, well-proportioned head, mischievous expression, good shaped dark eyes, lovely well fringed mobile butterfly ears used all the time. Carried her head well standing and, on the move, good neckline, true front, steady topline, lovely-plumed tail set and carried well. Good frame with even proportions, shapely hindquarters.

Flat skull well hung feathered leathers framing the face, good length to cushioned muzzle, black nose, correct bite. Good crest to neck, straight topline, well-placed shoulders, plenty depth to well ribbed ribcage. Shapely hindquarters, good bend to stifle. Soft silky coat well broken up tan markings, good feathering to legs and tail. Displayed a nice free action coming and going, stood well showing off.

A real sweetie, still quite raw, but showing good breed type everything right for her age, a lovely 8-month-old Blenheim CKCS bitch, as she matures her head will fill out to complete the picture. Soft typical expression, gentle dark eyes, good blaze between them, flat skull, good length to leathers framing her face. Lovely clean neckline, set into good shoulders, with plenty depth to chest, straight topline, well carried tail always used. Good angulation to rear, on the move showed how light she was on her feet, really showing herself off moving soundly in all directions. Soft silky lightly marked coat covering her frame.

Lovely mature-20-month-old Blenheim CKCS male with all the essentials, pleasing outline combining substance and presentation. All male head, masculine expression, lovely dark liquid eyes, good clear blaze, soft cushioning to muzzle of good length. Well hung full feathered leathers of good length framing his face to complete the picture. Good reach and arch to neck, good front assembly, legs and feet. Always kept a good topline, plenty depth to chest, well-shaped hindquarters. Body frame covered in a well-presented silky coat of good length, plenty of feathering to legs and tail. On the move moved with drive and flair showing off a good profile, pleased to award him Best AV Toy and Toy Group 4th placing.

2nd Street & Page: Heathfriend Black Magic at Pipaddie

Pretty and attractive 2-year-old B/t CKCS bitch. Displayed a very sweet happy nature, tail always on the go. Lovely size, clean cut profile and conformation with a typical feminine head, and expression, large dark eyes, soft cushioning to muzzle, and well hung long covered leathers. Well-furnished silky glossy jet-black coat, rich tan markings and feathering. Plenty to like about this exhibit, worked with her handle to display a free easy action around the ring with good drive and front movement.

1st Danks: Turretbanks Fairytale

Attractive 8-year-old Ruby CKCS bitch who totally belied her age to look at, and on the move. Feminine, but with substance displaying a graceful outline, well covered frame with a soft textured silky coat of good length and colour, lovely feathering to legs and tail. Pretty appealing head, lovely dark pigmentation to nose and large eyes, soft cushioning to muzzle, well hung feathered leathers set high on flat skull, contouring her face. Good length to neck set into well angulated shoulders, firm topline, well covered hindquarters, good bend to stifle, correct set to tail. Really moved soundly around the ring so very light on her feet, showing her happy temperament.

2nd Dawson: Luphenex Highland Fling

4-year-old Blenheim male, has many desirable attributes, scored in steady showmanship, free from any exaggerations very typy and sound an honest exhibit. Soft masculine expression, clear blaze between large liquid dark round eyes, soft cushioning to muzzle, flat skull, well hung feathered leathers of good length. Good neck and front assembly. Kept a firm topline, well placed tailset, nicely shaped body, good ribcage and chest, shapely hindquarters used well to show a good driving action and reach in front.

What can I say about this young man one week short of his 15th birthday, and still showing like a trooper, a total showman, he so loves his time in the ring, making his owner proud. Never put a foot wrong, light on his feet, really on his toes and stepping out with aplomb. Shown in beautiful condition, and credit to his owner for his presentation. A handsome B/W papillon male, bright happy expression, lovely dark expressive eyes, using his butterfly ears all the time. Stood four square with perfect balance and angulation, showing off his great personality. Pleased to award him Reserve Best AV Toy and Best Toy Veteran.

2nd Bartlett: Michadaine Crazy for You ShCM VW ShCEx

Another well-known Veteran exhibit who has met the Winner many times in the past in the show ring. Two lovely gentlemen headed this class of lovely veterans. A proud exhibit, standing gave a lovely picture showing off his stylist profile. 11-year-old Chinese Crested Powder Puff, another credit to his owner. Shown in a beautiful condition, coat of good length lovely mane, and ear fringes. Handsome appealing head with an enquiring expression, bright dark eyes, Super reach of neck, leading to well laid-back shoulders, spirit level topline, well placed tail carriage. Soundly constructed throughout, on the move really drove and flowed around the ring showing off his profile, another enjoying his time in the ring.
