I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for their kind invitation to judge the Toy and Utility Groups at their Open Show, I had an enjoyable day and had some lovely exhibits to judge. To also thank my two lovely stewards Carol Mulligan and Trina Edkins for keeping the ring going throughout the day.

Puppy (1)

1st: Mitchard’s: Wizabeanie Potted Shrimp

Most attractive 11month old bitch, typical feminine expression, lovely dark expressive eyes well set, short blunt muzzle, wide open nostrils to nose, good turnup to prominent chin. Used her small, neat ears at all times. Good shape to head, set on a short neck leading to a straight topline. Good development to body for age, well coated rough textured coat of good length. Moved lively and soundly with drive, on her toes always, using her well-set tail. Always stood and showed herself off, attentive to her handler.

1st Mitchard’s Wizabeanie Sea Urchin

Litter sister to the Puppy winner, a bit of a character, just full of herself, very similar remarks apply to this exhibit as that of her litter sister. Displayed a cheeky monkey expression, lovely bright dark eyes, carried her head well on the move and standing, Close decision between these two sisters for BP, but this young lady just stepped up to show off her showmanship for RBOB, BPIB and Reserve in Toy Puppy Group. Two lovely exhibits and I will guess exchange places in the future.

1st Mitchard’s: Wizabeanie One Banana

Handsome 3 yrs old male, very showy always on his toes, stood proudly, showing himself off. Lovely mature rough textured coat covering a shapely body. Masculine well shaped head, good open nostrils, good prominent chin and turnup, used his shapely bright dark eyes to display his typical monkey expression, carried his head well on a short neck, firm topline, well ribbed ribcage, always displayed a lovely square profile, nicely angulated overall. On the move showed of a smooth strutting movement going around the ring. Pleased to award him BOB. Toy Group 4th

1st Hollister: Hollichi Halo JW

Charming 3 yr old Cream and White male, shown in a lovely condition, well-presented silky coat of good length, full plumed tail carried well. Lovely apple domed skull, well set firmly erect ears, shapely round dark eyes, saucy expression, good length to muzzle, correct bite. Arched neck, firm topline, good depth to chest well sprung ribcage, well angulated front and hindquarters, good bone for frame. On the move displayed an easy steady sound action, good drive to rear covering the ground well. Pleased to award him BOB

1st Hollister’s: Hollichi Designer Baby

13-month-old fawn bitch, a total show off, just loved her time in the ring, tail never stopped wagging, very much on her toes always. Attractive facial expression, large bright dark round eyes well-spaced, good depth to stop and length to muzzle. Lovely apple domed head, correctly set erect ears, correct bite. Head carried proudly, good length to arched neck, moved briskly and soundly with drive holding her level topline, carried her sickle tail correctly. Stood naturally showing off her shapely body lines, which was covered in a well-presented coat. Pleased to award her BOB.

Nearly 4 yr old red coated male, upstanding exhibit with good personality. A good breed type, displaying a good make and shape to body profile, well developed body, nicely balanced. On the move showed a pleasing easy sound action in front and rear movement. Appealing masculine head good shape to apple dome, dark pigmentation to nose and large round eyes, good length to muzzle, correct dentition, good erect ears.

1st Hollister’s: Copymear Cleopatra at Hollichi

Confident 3 yr old fawn bitch, smart in appearance, small and dainty. Lovely feminine headpiece, good shapely apple dome head, good large erect ears well placed, bright dark round eyes, good stop, nice length to muzzle. Arched neck leading into well laid shoulders, well sprung ribcage. Straight front, well covered hindquarters good angulations overall. Very typical and positive on the move. Really loved showing herself off when standing. Pleased to award her RBOB.

2nd Hollister’s: Hollichi Ren’s Legacy

Charming 3 yr old blue fawn sable bitch, endearing head and saucy expression, lovely expressive dark round eyes, good apple dome shaped head, large, flared ears correctly set, well-shaped muzzle, black nose. Clean neckline, leading to a firm topline, well covered hindquarters, well placed sickle tail carriage. Nicely constructed shapely body, good spring to ribcage, looked good coming and going on the move, showing a lovely happy attitude when on the move and standing.

Pretty 17-month Sable & white bitch, a pleasing elegant headpiece, cheeky face and displayed a startled expression, large round dark eyes with white showing. Good cushioning to face, black nose, high set feathered leathers surrounding face frame. Head carried proudly on a good length of neck to balance with her body. Lovely size which showed off her pleasing outline. Well put together body, good angulations to front and rear. Soft silky coat of good length, well plumed tail carried correctly. Full of herself on the move, stepped out well, pleased to award her RBOB

2nd Cushing’s: Alstella Alexi of Spiritisle

Dainty 13 month Black& white bitch. A little sweetheart, classic head shape, pleasing properties, good, rounded skull, high set feathered leathers, good clear blaze between large round dark eyes, black open nostrils, short muzzle. Good neck flowing into well laid shoulders, level topline, leading to well set plumed tail carried correctly. Good development to body for age, cobby body plenty depth to chest. Well-formed hindquarters, good angulations to front and rear. On the move moved smartly always showing herself off.

Attractive Sable and white 3 yrs old bitch, displayed an elegant, aristocratic air about herself when showing. Carried her head proudly, rounded skull, ears well placed framing face, lovely dark round eyes, showing small amount of white, to give the typical look of astonishment. Short muzzle, self-coloured open nostril. Good front assembly, well boned legs and neat hare feet. Graceful outline to cobby body, plenty depth to chest, good spring to ribs, level topline. Fully plumed tail carried correctly. Shapely hindquarters, good angulation, moved true showing off all her virtues. Pleased to award her BOB

2nd Cushing’s: Spiritisle Lil Miss Muffet

Litter sister to previous winner, another lovely Sable and white bitch. Cheeky young lady who was enjoying her showing, has a lovely desired typical breed expression, soft and feminine, good cushioning under large dark round eyes, self-coloured open nostril nose, good bite. Rounded head shape used her well placed feathered ears. Well put together cobby body showing good all round body proportions, covered is a soft silky textured coat. Good, plumed tail well set. Displayed flowing steady movement showing of her good angulation overall.

Litter sister to my BOB, pretty, red & white bitch, dainty size overall, shapely body covered in a wealth of soft silky coat and feathering, presented in a lovely condition as were all from this exhibitor. Soft feminine facial features, dewy large round dark eyes, self-coloured open nostrils, short muzzle good cushioning. Well-shaped head, ears set high framing face. Kept topline and carried her fully plumed tail correctly, covered the ground positively with style.

2nd Cushing’s: Ennistar’s Nigara at Spiritisle (imp Rus)

Gentle feminine Red and white 5 yr old bitch, who made the most of herself, displaying well portioned proud head, good ear carriage and large round dark eye placement. Level topline, well put together compact body, correct size and pleasing outline. Good angulation to front and rear, showing off nice action coming and going. Well-presented soft silky coat covering her shapely body, good, plumed tail.

Bright showy 7-month-old tri dog, large mobile ears showing off his head and typical alert expression. Good clear blaze forming symmetrical define facial markings, good tan markings. Well-shaped placed dark round eyes, skull slightly rounded between ears. Correct bite, good length to refined muzzle. Carried head proudly, clean lines to neck and topline, tail carried on a well-set placement. Stood four square showing a pleasing profile. Good overall body and substances for age covered in a soft silky coat. On his toes and stepped out in a happy manner. BPIB and Toy Puppy Group 4th.

Well-presented B/W 18-month-old dog, shown in a lovely clean silky coat of good length, fully fringed mobile ears, well placed plumed tail used well. Scored in head shape, masculine expression, dark eyes full of interest, good length to muzzle, coal black nose. Good front angulated assembly, well boned legs, hare feet, shapely made hindquarters. Displayed pleasing angles on the move, moved typically with drive, determined to always show himself off, BOB and Toy Group winner.

Charming nearly 6 yr old red & white, sound mature male. Delightful character and showman. Scored in his manly headpiece, alert expression, expressive dark round eyes, good head shape, well fringed mobile ears. Wearing a well-marked long silky coat, which was well presented shown in good condition. Nicely bodied throughout, finely boned, good hare feet. Displayed a positive movement in the front and rear, a lovely showman.

Most handsome 11-month-old male fawn with rich black mask, came into the ring with an aplomb air, very proud of himself. Beautifully presented coat in lovely condition and texture. Classic head shape full of quality with balanced head and dark appealing round eyes. Well hung feathered leathers framing his face, coal black large broad open nostril, good lip lines. Good shoulder placements, broad chest, true front, short neck and firm level topline. Well portioned

body, good spring of ribs, shapely hindquarters, showing off his well-placed fully plumed tail. Displayed a sound rolling gait on the move. Pleased to award him BPIB, Toy Puppy Winner and delighted to see him win BPIS just before dashing to get the Hovercraft.

A real sweetheart of an exhibit who was enjoying showing himself off with his most delightful temperament. Pleasing type with masculine head, showing a happy expression, bright dark round eyes, open black nostrils, moderately broad flat skull, lovely long feathered leathers pinned level with skull framing his face. Short neck, good body and waistline, maintaining topline, good spring to rib, well carried plumed tail. Well- presented gleaming jet-black coat, small white chest patch. Worked with his handler displaying his pleasing rolling gait. BOB and Toy Group 3rd

1st West & Rogers: Curonians Aramis Cong

2yr old black male who showed a smart outline when presented and made the most of showing himself off. Handsome headpiece, dark soulful round eyes, coal black open nostrils, soft cushioning and width to muzzle. Well hung fringed leathers placed level with his flat skull, framing the face well. Good strong bone throughout, level topline, firm ribcage, broad chest. Used his shapely hindquarters to move in a graceful rolling gait, showing off his well-conditioned and presented jet black coat and plumed tail.

Litter sister to previous winner, a most endearing exhibit, has a pretty head, lovely soft feminine expression, shapely round dark eyes, broad nose, good soft cushioning, defined stop, jet black open nostrils. Good width to flat skull, well hung feathered leathers, contouring her face. Short neck, leading to a level topline, carried her plumed tail well. Pleasing size and overall body shape, well boned throughout, broad chest, shapely waistline. Moved with an elegant rolling gait, showing off her gleaming black coat. Pleased to award her RBOB.

Pretty steel blue and tan 4yr old bitch. Well-presented exhibit shown with a soft silky textured coat, of good length displaying clear tan to face, beard, feet. Feminine shapely head, bright dark eyes well-spaced, nice length to muzzle, coal black nose, ears well set and used at all times. Bright alert expression. Good use of neck carrying her head well, firm level topline, well set tail carriage. Lovely shape, size and balance overall, not exaggerated at all. Well ribbed body, good coverage to body. Displayed good sound movement front and rear which showed off her flowing coat.

Another well-presented exhibit, clean crisp textured coat showing of a shapely curved body. 5yr old bitch who enjoyed showing herself off, well handled. Well-proportioned head, showing her dark round eyes, and black rims. Moderate depth to stop and length to muzzle, coal black nose and lips, correct bite. Well hung leathers framing face, set correctly. Correct front assembly, neck of good length, held a level topline. Plenty depth to chest, well ribbed, shapely rear angulation, gracefully carried tail well coated. Black pigmentation to pads displayed when showing her sound movement. Best AVNSC Toy and Reserve in the Toy Group.

Lovely side profile on the move and standing, held a proud stance showing for her handler, totally belying her age. Feminine head, soft facial expression, large bright dark eyes, ears set correctly to top of skull, open black nostrils, not over wrinkle to face. Slightly arched strong neck. Plenty width to chest, well-muscled and toned body, good coverage to hindquarters, straight topline, good twist to tail.

2nd West & Rogers: Doobyave Tri your luck (L/C Chihuahua)

Charming 7yr old tri coloured dog, well presented, a lovely dense black and white silky body coat. Typical masculine breed head, good apple dome, ears used and set correctly. Large appealing dark eyes, good depth to stop, muzzle of good length. Good reach of neck stood proudly showing off his outline, eager to show off his good points. Moved smartly around the ring, moving with an easy flowing stride showing his good front and rear actions. Very perky on his toes always.

Very smart 9-month-old B/W spotted dog. Well spotted overall evenly broken up patten. Showed off a lovely profile on the move and standing, well-handled as were all from this handler to get the best out of all her exhibits. Masculine headpiece, clean profile, flat broad skull, well hung leathers, framing the face, slight slope to stop, muzzle of good length, jet black nose, correct bite. Clean neckline, well placed shoulder placements, straight front, plenty of depth and ribbing to ribcage, good tuck up. Nicely muscled throughout, good coverage to shapely hindquarters, plenty of bone to show off their good frame. Displayed a firm sound movement on the go, covering the ground well showing his lovely profile. Pleased to award him BPIB and Utility Puppy Winner

Litter brother to Puppy winner and not much to choose between them, this L/W brother is just a touch more mature overall. Upstanding young male well-muscled and toned throughout. Handsome head, and expression, broad skull, ears pinned to top of skull, contouring his face. Good stop between self-coloured eyes, and nose, clean lines to muzzle, correct bite. Strong firm neckline showing of his proud head carriage, leading to a good sound front assembly, broad muscled chest, straight front, plenty of heart room to chest. Good length to body, firm topline, shapely hindquarters, well set tail. On the move showed a firm sound striding gait. Even spotting over body.

2nd Tillson’s: Tamilanda Rose Gold at Elabri

Attractive 14-month L/W bitch, close decision between her and the winner. Most appealing head and expression, good placement of ears, broad skull, good slope and length to muzzle, correct bite, expressive eyes. Clean neck and throat lines, flowing into well laid shoulders, head carried aloof. True front, and correct topline, well-proportioned body, well-made and typical when moving, showed of her sound construction and movement, handler getting the best out of her. Good, coloured patches on clear white background.

Nearly 2yr old B/W feminine bitch, but with substance who displayed a lovely silhouette standing and on the move. Slightly heavier spotted overall, coat in a lovely condition. Pretty head and expression, good eye shape and colour, broad skull, good length to firm muzzle, coal black nose. Clean neck and shoulders, straight front good tight cat feet. Good all-round body proportions with plenty of heart room, good spring to ribs, well-muscled throughout, firm topline, shapely hindquarters. On the move covered the ground showing herself off well. Pleased to award her RBOB.

B/W 4 yr old bitch who showed with great confidence, looked a picture in profile, was always full of presence. Appealing moulded head, soft kind expression, lovely eye shape and placement, good use of ears framing her face. Good reach and length to neck, straight level topline, good coverage to hindquarters, tail well set and used. Soundly constructed body, in good condition showing good angulation and muscle tone when she was on the move, good front and rear actions displayed. Good clear even patches to a well-presented coat. Please to award her BOB and Utility Group Winner

2nd Saunders’s: Hafwenna House of Stark at Giffwinnoah

Handsome B/W 2 yr old male had the real, look at me, stance when standing. Masculine headpiece of good proportions. Good ear carriage and length of leathers. Flowing strong neck, into well laid shoulders, kept a good level topline, firm well covered hindquarters, good tail carriage. Good substance to body, good spring to ribcage, plenty of heart room, well boned throughout. Moved soundly with drive always holding his frame.

Pretty 8-month-old black bitch. So full of herself really enjoyed showing off. Pleasing feminine head, used her neat erect ears to advantage sitting on a broad and nearly flat skull. Dark well shaped eyes and appealing expression, moderate stop, good length to muzzle, correct bite. Good length of neck in balance with her body, displayed a lovely breed outline, keeping a level topline, good spitz like tail carriage. Good front assembly, well boned throughout, good legs and small catlike feet. Lovely well-presented coat and tail, good harsh like texture overall. Moved freely with good drive, really on her toes. Pleased to award her RBOB, BPIB and Utility Puppy 3rd.

Stylist 4 yr old black bitch who carried herself proudly, standing naturally, who on the move moved soundly with brisk drive and enthusiasm, always holding her frame. Feminine head of good proportions, neat fringed triangled ears well set, expressive dark eyes, muzzle of good length. Good substance to body in a lovely condition, well sprung ribcage, well angulated front, good coverage to hindquarters. Well-presented coat. good sheen and texture to touch lovely neck frill. A delightful character and showgirl. Please to award her BOB and Reserve in the Utility Group.

2nd Barnes & King’s: Izlou Gossip Girl JW

Another glamorous cream 4 yr old bitch from this kennel, not much between her and the winner another time could change places. Full of quality very typy, sound honest with no exaggerations anywhere. Attractive head and soft feminine expression, lovely dark pigmentation to nose and good shaped eyes. Well set neat erect fringed ears always used. Bodily fits the breed standard well, shapely body profile, constructed well overall, good, angulated front and lay of shoulders, plenty depth to chest, good bend to stifle, kept a firm topline, well-placed tail. On the move showed all her virtues.

Attractive 3 yr old gold and white bitch, presented in an immaculate condition, well-presented coat of good texture and length. Elegant feminine head, sweet expression, lovely head furnishings completing the picture, ears of good length, well covered framing her face. Oval shaped dark eyes, medium stop, muzzle of good length, coal black nose. Crested neck onto well laid shoulders, straight front well-furnished legs. Firm topline, well carried full plumed long tail. Compact sound body, good spring to ribcage, well angulated hindquarters used to drive and show her outline which she retained on the move.

Slight arch to a firm neck, leading into a straight level topline, correct tail set. Typical sound, well-formed youngster, delightful temperament, moved with style and drive. Litter brother of previous winner, all male puppy Black with white chest patch, showing off his well-presented jet-black silky coat, well covered leathers, full plumed tail. Scored well in head and neck, handsome expression, good cushioning to muzzle, dark bright oval eyes, correct bite, lovely ear placements. Well put together developed body, good angulation front and rear, spirit level topline, well-placed tail. Good bend to stifle, well-muscled quarters, displayed an easy and sound action with plenty of drive when on the move. Stood proudly. Two lovely litter puppies.

Charming gold sable with black mask nearly 3yr old bitch, lovely, shaped head, soft expression, bright dark oval eyes, black rimmed, well set. Slight dome to skull, well placed feathered leathers, good cushioning to muzzle, coal black nose. Moderately short neck, well angulated forequarters, plenty of substance to body, nice length to body all covered in a well-presented coat. Moved in a stylish manner, good drive, showed well for her young handler always responding to her.

Good balanced head qualities, soft dark oval eyes, black rimmed, medium length to muzzle, good width to chin, coal black nose, well feathered ears pinned to top of skull. Good neck and mane, flowing into a level topline, leading to a well-set tail. Well laid shoulders, good spring to ribcage, shapely hindquarters used well to move smartly around the ring.

Well sprung ribcage that was well covered and muscled. Angulation both fore and aft was correct, on the move displayed a free easy movement.
