Dachshund (Miniature Long-Haired) Puppy (3,1)
1. Tubb’s Westwillow Sweet Pea. Lovely head, eye and expression. Better in front than 2, even if she could have a touch more layback. Good for proportions, needs to settle into her hindquarters. Moved very well in all directions. BOB & BP.
2. Judge’s Erinshore Lady Grace. Would like a better temperament and front, stands quite narrow. Good length of head. In good body for age with a full rump and strong hindquarters. Moved freely.
Dachshund (Miniature Long-Haired) Junior (2,1)
1. Horbulewicz’s Czarujacy Lorcan Ufna Morda. Quite European in style, up to size and a little too much leg length. Good length of head with strong muzzle. Moved parallel coming and going and covered ground in profile. Temperament needs to improve. RBOB.
Dachshund (Miniature Long-Haired) Post Graduate (1)
1. Horbulewicz’s Czarujacy Lorcan Ufna Morda.
Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired) Puppy (3,2)
1. Mutton’s Grand Marnier I Bassi Della Del Montone. Up to size, especially for a puppy but he presents a very pleasing overall picture with excellent proportions and a typical outline. Scored in forechest, front and ribbing. Super mover in all directions. BP & PG2.
Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired) Junior (7,2)
1. Herald’s Winterfield Lady In Red. Best balance and overall construction in the class. Feminine head and correct eye. Fair front. Pleasing outline and ribbing. Easy mover. RBOB.
2. Reynolds’ Kleinstar Blue Moon. Has very good proportions with plenty ground clearance. Better head than 3, good neck. Plenty keel and ribbing with good topline. Would like some more strength and angulation to hindquarters. An active mover.
3. Johnson’s Ruletadax Destina.
Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired) Post Graduate (6,2)
1. Reynolds’ Kleinstar Moongazer. Has a very good outline and was best for proportions, masculine head with length and good eye, fair front and very good ribbing, hocks could be more let down, could be more true up and down but goes well in profile.
2. Herald’s Winterfield Lucky Star. Good size and proportions. Would prefer a touch less width of skull for ideal balance of head, still feminine enough in outlook and expression. Long neck and smooth outline. Although balanced, I’d like more angles fore and aft. Could give a little more on the move.
3. Beer’s Stargang Candy Stripes at Lowrider.
Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired) Open (6,1)
1. Beer, William & Moes’ Gellijams Fireworks at Cwmdarhian. Very appealing for outline, balance and proportions. Lovely head and expression. Well angulated both front and rear. Stands a touch narrow in the rear stacked but moves with good width and out-moved the rest of the entry in profile with super reach and drive. BOB & G2.
2. Mutton’s Montone Be Brave. Liked many things about this bitch, particularly her balance and proportions, but would like to see her with less weight. Moved well holding her outline.
3. Mutton’s Ivan Poddubny Iz Omskoi Kreposti for Montone (Imp).
Dachshund (Miniature Wire-Haired) Puppy (2,1)
1. Jaskolska’s Dachsington Cassiopeia. Too high on the leg and unbalanced. Has good length to head. Good feet. Moved with pleasing reach and drive.
Dachshund (Miniature Wire-Haired) Junior (1)
1. Jaskolska’s Dachsington Cassiopeia.
Dachshund (Miniature Wire-Haired) Post Graduate (3,1)
1. Covoney’s Ashdalewhorf Blossoming. Lovely head, eye and intelligent expression. Pleasing beck and front angulation. Short in rib and cuts up in underline. Moved ok. RBOB.
2. Jaskolska’s Dachsington Cassiopeia.
Dachshund (Miniature Wire-Haired) Open (3,1)
1. Gilkies & Storton’s Dereheath Shaken Not Stired at Birichino. Masculine male of pleasing proportions and outline, lovely head and expression, in super jacket, a touch bum high moving but otherwise a positive and active mover with good reach and drive. BOB & G3.
2. Coveney’s Emem Django. Masculine head of good length and balance. Balanced, if a little too moderate, angles fore and aft. Would prefer more spring and length of ribcage. Moved on a free stride.
Rhodesian Ridgeback Puppy (5,1)
1. Catharell’s Kinabula’s Making Magick for Faahac. At just 6 months old, he is very raw and immature but he has a well-proportioned and made frame to grow into. Really liked his head and expression. Sound and free on the move, even if still not fully together yet. BP & PG3.
2. Geeves’ Kiromol Knight Of The Realm. Stronger all through, masculine in head but could maybe have some more detail. Very masculine and well made all through. Thought he may be my winner initially but he was not settled today which affected his movement unfortunately, just needs time.
3. Collier & Cox’s Carlincox Knock Ya Socks Off.
Rhodesian Ridgeback Junior (3,2)
1. Larkin’s Asharaa’s Hey There Georgy Girl. Quite a refined bitch, well proportioned with good leg length. Liked her head and expression, lovely neck into shoulder and stands over herself well. Easy mover, just needs time to be more sure of herself.
Rhodesian Ridgeback Post Graduate (8,2)
1. Barnes’ Diamondridge Dreadnought JW. Stallion dog, handsome and upstanding with excellent proportions. Very masculine head, though wouldn’t like his stop any more defined. Well made all through, felt he needed a bigger ring to fully settle into his stride, but is obviously sound and has the construction to really move. Certainly full of himself, carrying tail a bit high for ideal. RBOB.
2. Storey & Piehl’s Kiromol Dare To Flair. Feminine bitch, lovely head and expression, clean outline and shoulders, stands on super feet, good front once relaxed into it. Sound and active mover.
3. Hicks’ Nuthouse Mastermind.
Rhodesian Ridgeback Open (8,2)
1. Storey & Piehl’s Ch Kiromol Heaven Can Wait (AI). A moderate, typy, handsome and fully mature dog. Very pleasing head and expression. Excellent construction throughout though a touch flat in croup to be critical. Sound mover in all directions with good drive, holding his outline. A comfortable group winner. BOB & G1.
2. Murphy & Cox’s Carlincox Mash It Up JW. Another pleasing male, pushed 1 hard and found out afterwards he was a son. Very masculine male, would like a touch less width to backskull to be picky, flowing outline, not quite the front construction of 1. Moved very well.
3. Storey & Piehl’s Kiromol Tip Toe And Go (AI).
AVNSC Hound Junior (4,3)
1. Sawer’s Boughton Back On Top – Greyhound. Masculine male, could be a touch longer in the body for ideal generous proportions, lovely head, would prefer a darker eye, long neck and super front construction, developing nice curves to top and underline, moved freely.
AVNSC Hound Post Graduate (4,3)
1. Sawer’s Boughton Back On Top.
AV Hound Puppy (9,7)
1. Murphy’s Bayard Seal Of Approval at Rhosyndu – Beagle. Doesn’t need to be any longer in proportions. Pleasing head. Fair front and a super rear. Fairly true up and down. Excellent outline which he holds on the move.
2. Collier & Cox’s Carlincox Knock Ya Socks Off – Rhodesian Ridgeback. A bit long and needs to settle a lot on the move. Very well angulated front with super lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Lovely head and a super temperament.
AV Hound Junior (10,6)
1. Herald’s Winterfield Lady In Red – Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired).
2. Skinner’s Whitesquall Mionetto – Whippet. A nice type of bitch, athletic, curvy and racey. A touch too wide in backskull for ideal balance of head. Lovely underline. Sound and free on the move.
3. Strong & Clinton’s Crosscop Kiss Me Here for Mackjama – Whippet.
AV Hound Post Graduate (10,9)
1. Falconer’s Kuriwao Serrafina Star – Whippet. Classy and typy bitch. Lovely head and neck. Stands true and has a nice flow of outline. Could be a touch more true coming towards but keeps her curvy outline in profile.
AV Hound Veteran (11,8)
1. Keepence & Keyte’s Redcap Northern Lights over Alandobel – Beagle. Smart and showy, with such an active and free profile action. Pleasing head and expression.
2. Murphy & Barnes’ Diamondridge De Niro JW ShCM – Rhodesian Ridgeback. Lovely neck into a well made front. Not quite the positive action or enthusiasm of 1.
3. Murphy’s Black Royal at Rhosyndu VW – Beagle.

Lovely head and expression, typical outline and proportions. Really impressed on the move with excellent activity and enthusiasm, displaying a typical extended trot. Best Veteran Overall.
2. Burrage’s Ch Komidion Prima Donna of Sametova ShCEx VW – Cesky Terrier. Another very impressive veteran. Very pleasing to go over, super ribbing and body, and has a typical outline. In excellent condition which showed on the move.
3. Rivers & Leighton’s Talraz Comedy Act for Kyleca – Bearded Collie.
AV Special Veteran 10 Years & Over (11,6)
1. Anstead’s Sh Ch/bel/lux/nl Ch/int Sh Ch/ir Sh Ch Riverwatcher Atka Cw'16 Bwnl'14/16 Bwbe'15 – Retriever (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling). At 12 years old, this dog most impressed with his balance and footfall on the move. Lovely to go over with nothing out of place, masculine head and lively expression.
2. Philpott’s Ch Aradet Expert Timing Aws VW – Schipperke. Remarkable 14 year old dog. Found him to be very typical with compact proportions and lively, brisk action on the move.
3. Guy’s Cirtaps Prinses Bynton Ida Rose Mk (Imp Swe) – Kooikerhondje.
AV Champion (16,12)
1. Gooch’s Ch Lireva’s Well Fancy That for Cassibawn JW – Pomeranian. Smart dog and dead sound on the move. Perhaps just short enough in proportions. Thought he had a lovely head with super dark eye and pigment. Correct ear set and carriage.
2. Williams & Drozdova’s Sh Ch Bonapartist Peaky Blinder avec Aukskara – Brittany. Compact and well balanced dog with correct substance giving a cobby appearance. Pleasing to go over and came alive on the move, the ultimate showman.
