JHA – 6-11yrs (4,1)
1st Jacob Perfitt-Jones
Presenting a 7year old male Malamute, handler was well dressed and both he and dog were well presented. Wonderfully polite, listened to my requests and did not once break the golden rule. Handling a charge almost as big as he, the mutual respect the partnership shared was a joy to see. In the challenge for overall JHA, I was genuinely hard pushed to spilt. I feel his skills will appear smoother and improve with time.
2nd Maddison Rein
Presenting a 4yr old bitch, handler again was well dressed and polite. Got her charge onto the table well and held her charge’s position and attention well despite outside distractions. Handler moved up and down well and with preciseness.
3rd Paige Hooley
JHA – 12-16yrs (2,0)
These two were hard to split and had to work for their placings.
1st Livia Boryc
Presented a Samoyed, handler was alert to my position at all times and did not obstruct my view of the dog from any angle, and still managed to ensure I could always see the dog at their best from wherever I was. Her charge was a little shy but handler kept the attention well. Crisp and clear leadwork. BJH.
2nd Gosia Buchwald
Presented a Leonberger of 2.5yrs. A well matched pairing. Dealt brilliantly with a large dog in a relatively small ring by comparison. Lead control was excellent. On this day, this handler had to give way due to foot placement of her charge on the stand not being as precise as winner on a couple of occasions. Not a big priority in the grand scheme of things, but I had to pick hairs to split the two handlers – and this was it. No doubt will, and already have, changed places between them.
AHA – 17-39yrs (5,0)
1st Lauren Perfitt
Tidy presented handler of a Malamute who was pleasant and amenable to requests. Crisp precise footwork and presented dog well, keeping their attention at all times. Was the only one in her class who did not obscure my view of the dog.
2nd Charley Lowe
Presenting a very attentive German Pinscher, ensured was well presented whenever i needed to view. Pleasant and accommodating of requests made.
3rd Hayley Tasker
AHA 40-59yrs (5,3)
1st Bev Manners
Presenting the happiest Lhasa I have ever had the good fortune to meet. Charge was cleanly presented and well groomed, handled with sympathetic yet clear instruction. Dog was very aware of me, but handler ensured to keep appropriate attention to her. BAH.
2nd Lauren Thomas
Handler placed her full attention to the dog, who was happy and content to follow her instruction. But didn’t follow my requests to complete a triangle movement which cost the class.

Australian Cattle Dog
Puppy (2,1)
1st Guardalavaca Daiquiri
An exbuberant happy 8 month old. Head of correct blunt proportion to age. Inquisitive well shaped eye and good dark brown colour. Well marked and already with good harsh coat. Body proportions currently belying that of a puppy but with plenty of time to come together. Exceptionally happy to be in the ring. BOB.

1st Arianrhod Havukruunu (AI)
13 month black tri male that made me look twice, for good reason. His head was good to go over, a correct eye of pleasing shape and harmonious colour, well defined stop. Ears were well set, small and particularly mobile, all combining to give him the wonderful open expression this breed should have. Correct fore angulation, I would like a little more in the rear, firm level topline, correct tail placement and carriage with good texture of coat. Moved easily and measured. I liked him. Would like to meet him in the future. One to watch.

2nd Bridus Ukkonen ShCM
10.5yr old male – a joy and surprise to find a dog of this age in the ring in such ‘young’ condition. Proving this breed are one that really do get better with age. He was all male, head was of correct planes, with a good stop. His ears were mobile and well set. If being picky, his eye was a little round for me. His angulation for and aft were correct and he moved round the ring with just as much ease and pleasure to watch as 1st. Just preferred overall expression of 1st.
3rd Arianrhod Amorphis
Open (2,1)
1st Oberitz Upponalle
9.5yr red male. My notes say coat A1. Absolutely the correct coarse profuse coat you want to see with this breed and was the first thing I noted. Even down to his hairy correctly shaped feet. His head was pleasing to go over and all in proportion. Oval eye shape and in harmonious colour with his coat. Ears were wide set and very mobile. Altogether giving that friendly open expression you want to see. Level topline and in balance all through, complemented with a correctly set tail and carriage. Movement away was the best of the day. BOB.
Hungarian Puli
Puppy (1,0)
1st Mournebrake Hidden Agenda with Kaynell
6month old bitch with the apparent squareness called for. Sweet open eye, and with correct pigmentation required. Her movement was a little stilted at first and was very aware of both her surroundings and me, but she settled well and demonstrated her shoulder angulations and complementary rear on the move.
Sp Yearling (2,0)
1st Mournebrake One Last Rodeo
6mth old bitch. Litter sister to winner of puppy class and with many of the same attributes but with added sass and personality. Beautifully square and with attitude to shine through even at this age. BOB.
2nd Mournebrake Hidden Agenda with Kaynell
Limit (1,0)
1st Chesmes Kutya Magyar Gryff at Mournebrake
2yr old male. Cords coming on well, appearing a little long, he was square once hands were on him. Slight dome to his skull with medium eye of good colour. Correctly required pigment. Holds a level topline on the move.

1st Mournebrake One Last Rodeo
Hungarian Pumi
My first time judging this breed. Delightfully spirited breed and I learned a lot going over them putting the theory of standard and bringing to life. In all exhibits I was pleased to find the fine bone required, none were overdone.
Puppy (1,0)
1st Alizo Working Nine to Five
6mth grey bitch on her first time out and did exceptionally well. Excitable and interested in her surroundings. On the go over, she was square in profile, slight oblique eye and dark in colour. . Carried the necessary dark pigment required. Ears mobile Short backed and tail correctly set and carried.
Limit (3,1)
1st Schnaubern Fawaris
My notes say cream all male but should likely correct myself to fawn coloured male. Pleasing head proportions, correct eye with slight oblique set. A slight lighter in pigment than the darker coat colours. Square in profile and sound all through. Coat of correct texture. Liked his profile both on stand and on the move.
2nd Cseresznyeskerti Csalfa Hapsi with Alizo
18mth grey still with room to mature. Smaller all through than 1st. Expressive eye, ears set a little wider than first. Coat still to crisp.
Open (4,2)
1st Breezelyn Ears to the Future with Alizo
4yr old grey bitch. Head with the necessary elongated proportions, oblique eye shape and required pigment both evidently present. Her ears were high set and mobile. On going over, she had the necessary tight skin coverage over the neck and throat and her coat was correct in both appearance and texture. Complentary fore and aft angles.
2nd Cseresznyeskerti Csalfa Zajos (Imp Hun)
11yr male of a very sweet nature. Moved with purpose at all times and very much enjoyed the attention of the 1st place bitch!
Norwegian Buhund
Puppy (2,1)
1st Tapui Haldis
9mth lightly built wheaten bitch. Lean foxy face, with a dark eye and very sweet expression. Ears correctly placed, of large size and very mobile. At 9 months, her head has time to catch up! Level topline and moved so happily. Both owner and charge new to the ring and the bond between them was evident. They made me smile!
Pyrenean Mountain Dog
A breed very close to my heart.
Sp Yearling (1,0)
1st Oonelladream Born to Run
19 month powerful male of decent size, in proportion and balance all through. Head was pleasing to go over, smooth, with skull to muzzle joining harmoniously. Eye was set correctly oblique, woth correct amount of fill underneath. Would prefer a shade darker in colour. Correct bite, lip a little loose, but acceptable. His chest is still to drop fully but nicely broadening. Level topline. His rear is his current fortune and gave him the necessary drive to move around the ring. Unhurried but still the power there is evident. The added visual pleasure was his wheeling tail on the move. Well boned and present dewclaws. Beautifully groomed and presented. BOB.
Limit (2,0)
1st Oonelladream Born to Run
2nd Pafaxen Rewrite the Stars
22mth old male who again was well groomed and presented. Bigger built than 1st all through, his skull to muzzle proportion when viewed from above were correct. In profile, his muzzle was a little deeper than I would have liked and stop pronounced. Wonderfully kind eye of deep colour. Correct bite, would prefer a touch more pigment and tightness to lip. Good width of body, a lot of bone and power all through. Level topline and correctly shaped feet. Moved very steady and balanced.
Open (4,1)
1st Oonelladream Born to Run
2nd Pafaxen High in the Sky over Richearon NAF TAF
22 mth male and litter brother to winner of 1st and other class entrant who sadly withdrew. He had the best feet of the day! Much like his brother, he had the correct skulls to muzzle proportion when viewed from above. In profile, his muzzle is deeper than his litter brother and similar comments to head and body proportions apply. A1 presentation. On the move he again wheeled his tail, and moved so easy and measured. If judged on movement alone, my choice for BOB may have been different.
Welsh Corgi (Cardigan)
Open (1,0)
1st Twinan Shield of Steel
16 mth brindle bitch. Foxy head, widely set ears and large in size. Head and muzzle proportions were of the desired 3 / 5 seperated by a moderate stop. Her body was an enjoyable education for the hands and eye, shoulder well laid, prominent breast bone and forearms correctly framed around chest. Long in body and strong rear action. Tail carried high and brush like.
Welsh Corgi (Pembroke)
Puppy (4,1)
1st Twinan Swing on a Star
10 mth bitch. Won on her overall soundness and visual appeal. Clean dry tight head of foxy appearance. Round eye. Decent body length, with good depth of chest still with visible daylight underneath. Level topline, held on the move, really liked her movement that was straight and true on the out and back. Pleased to award BP, BOB and delighted to see her take the Puppy Group and adult group 4 later in the day.
2nd Twinan Rising Star at Highashes
10 month old, a little more reserved than 1st and more dainty in appearance. Round eye, very alert in appearance. Level topline held on the move.
3rd Cherastayne Smarty Jones at Chiliabomwe

1st Twinan Raise the Bar for Fablecroft
17mth male. He had the deepest of pigments which attracted me to him. Head of correct proportions with mobile ears used to his advantage. Really likes his width and depth of chest and overall body proportion. Level topline and his rear action propelled him round the ring. Liked a lot.
2nd Born to be Your Fkn Perfect for Twinan (Imp Hun)
The most happy chap you could ever expect to meet! Blunter proportions in head than 1st, he moved with a distinct purpose – his own! Loved his feet and would have happily taken him home.
Open (3,1)
1st Babaneira Kensington at Fablecroft
2.5 yrs, my notes say a ‘refined gentleman’. Soft in expression, his eye was round and set slightly oblique to others – a kind expression. Mobile ears, medium size and set wide on his head. He had good shoulder placement on the stand and further demonstrated on the move. Good length of back, level topline held on the stand and move.
2nd Born to be Your Hublot Big Bang at Twinan (Imp Hun)
More defined stop than 1st but otherwise of similar head proportion. Expressive round eye. Level topline, slightly shorter coupled than 1st.
