Many thanks to the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at this lovely show, a huge thank you also to those who entered their dogs under me today. I really enjoyed judging the breed that my life revolves around. ,

1ST 227 - Spuffing Bellini (Mrs J Weyman)

What a super specimen of the breed to start off with, Liver/white, she is very typey and pleasing to the eye, at just 11 months old I found her to have an exquisite head and perfect eye shape, super length of neck leading into well placed shoulders and super return of upper arm, enough forechest and depth for her age and just the right amount of bone for me, lovely firm topline leading into a well carried and set tail, her hindquarters are angulated how I’d expect, matching her front angles perfectly, well let down hocks and decent thickness to her second thigh, on the move she had very good footfall, tidy in all directions, unfortunately she seemed to flag a little towards the end in the challenge, beautifully presented, pleased to award her BP and RBOB, bright future I’m sure.

See puppy.

2ND 224 - Beresford Stand at Ease (Mrs T E Topliss)

13 month old, Liver/white male, lovely head and kind eye, nice length of neck into ok shoulders, lovely ribbing and enough depth and forechest for age, super feet, I liked his overall shape and style on the stack, short loin, lovely angles and thickness behind, decent tail set, he showed good drive on the move, but unfortunately he was quite unsettled today for me to be able to fully assess him on the move, id like to see him on top form.

1ST 225 - Beresford Stand n Stare (Mrs T E Topliss)

This Liver/white, 13 month old male has a lot to like, he has lovely work to his head, correct depth of flew, correct fluting under the eyes and correct chiselling, enough stop for age, eyes almond shaped and dark enough. Lovely length of neck leading into decently placed shoulders and necessary length of upper arm, lovely ribbing and ample depth and forechest,, very good bone, id prefer tighter feet, compact in body and short coupled, level topline, lovely rear with good width, well let down hocks, well carried tail on the move, out and back he was parallel, super in profile with lovely foot fall, very active, merry male showing a super temperament. Lovely coat quality, he did give his handler a bit of a hard time, id love to see him resisting a little less for the handler to be able to get the full potential out of him on the stack. In the challenge he put in a super performance, I was pleased to award him BOB, look forward to following his future.

2ND 216 - Chanangel When You Believe at Shersona (Mrs Sde & Miss Md Frusher & Slack)

Liver and White bitch of a lovely type and size, lovely outline and well handled, a lovely headed bitch, lovely eye shape, and good colour, correct fluting and dept of flew, good length of neck leading into shoulders which I’d prefer better laid back. Nice angle of upper arm, good depth and forechest, well ribbed, short loin, firm topline leading into a well set tail, hindquarters are well let down and angled, on the move she showed good springer attitude, on the out and back I found her to crab a little, in profile she showed a decent side gait, beautifully presented.

3RD 217 - Eastriding Love in Black with Cumani (Mrs L & Miss L Fugle & Cook)

RES 215 - Kingsheath Sun Dance (Mrs J Fitchett)

1ST 222 - Sh Ch Beresford Lockdown (Mrs T E Topliss)

This liver and white male makes a very pleasing shape, you couldn’t mistake him for another breed, he’s all springer, he has a good head piece, correct shape and colour of eye, correctly set on ears, he has a well arched neck leading into ok shoulders, I’d prefer tighter elbows, good, firm topline, short loin, well set and carried tail, his hindquarters were just what I was looking for, beautifully angled, short from hock to heel, thickness through the thigh and well muscled, on the move both coming towards and going away I found him erratic, he really pulls into his lead and is very exuberant, on profile he looked accurate, certainly shows good drive.

2ND 218 - Russell at Cumani (Imp Ita) (Mrs L & Miss L Fugle & Cook)

Liver and white male of good size, giving his handler a hard time today. Nice proportions in body, would prefer better angulation in front and behind, a bit more depth and forechest would also help to complete the overall picture. On the move he is active, in profile he is ok and sound, going away I found him to be a tad close behind. He is beautifully presented, correct coat quality.
