Japanese Shiba Inu

Puppy (2)

1.Bryans’ Marilouvale Can’t Jinx Me. 6month b/t bitch who presets a lovely outline in profile, small and feminine, slightly longer than tall with good topline, strong, arched neck and well set and carried tail. Pretty head with small dark eyes, neat ears and keen expression. Moved well especially in profile. Presented in good coat and condition, has plenty of maturing to do but should finish well. BP. Puppy Group 3

2,Bryans’ Black Moonwalker Di Poggio Petroio at Marilouvale (imp Ita) A little older than 1 but not quite as settled. A fraction taller with good neck, straight front, good chest and ribbing for age, high set tail, just needs to strengthen behind. Masculine head and alert expression. Moved freely once he settled.

Junior (2)

1.Bryans’ Marilouvale Blank Cheque. Just 13months and although obviously isn’t the finished article her quality was obvious. Lovely for size and balance with arched neck, good front assembly, nice chest and ribbing, short loin, curled tail set on well, strong rear with good bone and feet. Gorgeous head and expression with dark eyes, definite stop and furrow, flat skull with neat ears and well developed cheeks. Moved with a light, energetic action, good out and back and covering the ground well in profile. Came back in the challenge on her toes and really made the most of herself on the move which won her BOB.

2,May & Goodwin’s Doriken Royal Legacy. 13month dog who wasn’t the most cooperative but certainly enjoyed his time in the ring! Thick, arched neck, deep chest and good ribbing, level topline and high set tail. Broad skull with well tapered muzzle, tight lips and small dark eyes. Wasn’t settled enough to make the most of himself on the move but went soundly enough.

Post Grad (1)

1.Bryans’ Bambola la Leggenda Dei Samurai at Marilouvale. 14month white bitch who I rather liked and performed well in the class but just didn’t move as well in the challenge. Good for size and balance with firm topline, good chest and ribbing, strong loin with curled tail set on well. Lovely head and expression with well developed cheeks, good muzzle, definite stop and furrow with neat ears set and used well. Moved with accuracy covering the ground well, could just have moved with a little more energy and purpose in the challenge.

Open (3)

1.May’s Kantaro Go Sapporo Kagasou at Ayupduck. 2 year red male, mature and presented in good coat and condition. Well constructed with correct front and rear angulation, firm topline, deep chest, good ribbing and strong rear. Handsome, correctly shaped head with good ears, small eyes and lovely expression. Moved well but not quite the light, purposeful action of the younger bitch in the challenge so had to settle for RBOB.

2.Bryans’ Marilouvale Break The Bank. Only 13months old so gave away a lot in maturity here but certainly is a quality youngster. Well constructed and nicely balanced with beautiful head and expression, well developed cheeks and dark eyes. Moved with a lovely action in profile.

3.Bryans’ Toyokhara Shiba Like Diamond In the Sky at Marilouvale.

Shih Tzu

Puppy (1)

1.Skawska’s Norboo Bobby Dazzler of Mapimakastar. Very happy 11month dog who returned to the ring several times throughout the day and gave 110% every time! Nice size and shape with good chest and ribbing for age, sweet face with nice eyes, good mouth and short muzzle. He moved with so much confidence covering the ground with ease, showing pads and holding his outline well. In good coat and condition. BP.

Junior (3)

1.Crossland’s Debeaux Then There Was You. Gorgeous black bitch, small and sturdy with well balanced outline enhanced by beautiful coat. Ultra feminine, broad, round head with large dark eyes, short wide muzzle, good nostrils and lovely expression. Good neck and shoulders, lovely chest and ribbing, level topline and well set and carried tail. Impressive on the move, circling the ring with good reach and drive, head carried proudly and outline firm. I thought she was delightful. BOB, Group4.

2.Skawska’s N. Bobby Dazzler of M.

3.Skawska’s Mapimakastar Lady Sat Al

Post Grad (2)

1.Skawska’s Norboo Theodore. 16month dog who wasn’t as mature as 2 and didn’t have the coat but scored on the move in profile, covering the ground easily with good head and tail carriage. Pleasant head and expression with short, wide muzzle, dark eyes and good pigment.

2.Skawska’s M. Lady Sat Al. This one had the better coat and finish but was carrying a little extra weight and couldn’t match the free action of 1. Broad head with correctly set ears, defined stop, dense pigment and good furnishings. Beautifully presented.

Open (3)

1.Crossland’s Chaela Ralphish. Beautiful 8yr old veteran of lovely balance and type. Low slung body with super chest and ribbing, good bone, arched neck into good shoulders, strong rear and well set and carried tail. Beautiful head and expression with well spaced dark eyes, dense pigment and short, wide muzzle with good width of underjaw. Sound on the move covering the ground well and showing full pad. In full, quality coat, just not quite the attitude of his younger kennel mate in the challenge. RBOB.

2.Skawska’s Mapimakastar Jasmin Jol Ja JW. Very happy 13month bitch who still has some maturing to do in body so was at a disadvantage here against a fully mature male. Presents a nice outline with good neck, firm topline and well set and carried tail. Very sweet, feminine head with dark round eyes and appealing expression. Well presented coat as were all from this exhibitor.

3.Skawska’s N. Theodore.

Tibetan Spaniel

Puppy (2)

1.Short’s Malia Zaya. Absolutely gorgeous 8month baby whose quality was immediately evident. Small and well balanced with plenty of substance, firm topline, good chest and ribbing and well set and carried tail. Such a pretty face with dark expressive eyes, well cushioned muzzle and defined chin. Moved with purpose holding her outline firm. Good coat and the most delightful attitude. Very close up in the challenge but just pipped to the post by her more mature kennelmate. RBOB, BP, Puppy Group 1.

2,Taylor’s Oldcharm Addicted to Love at Maursett. Also 8 months old with a big puppy coat that made him look much heavier than he actually is once you get your hands on him. Short, strong neck, good bone and feet, well balanced length of body and moderately angulated rear. Masculine head with cushioned muzzle and dense pigment. Lovely temperament, moved happily.

Junior ( 4,2)

1.Lowes’ Richearon That’s Easy. 15month bitch who was better on the move here. Pleasing balance to her shape with lovely front assembly, firm topline and well set and carried tail. Feminine head with dark eyes, blunt, cushioned muzzle and defined chin.

2.Taylor’s Parloueve My Love For Maursett. Nice size and shape with strong neck, good ribbing, well set and carried tail and good bone. Correctly shaped head with dark eyes and pleasing expression. Move freely but not as accurate as 1.

Post Grad (3,1)

1.Leak’s Malia Mistletoe Memories Mit Madire Beauifully presented bitch of correct proportions with short neck, good front assembly, good chest and ribbing, firm topline, good bone and feet. Pretty head with good ears, defined stop, well balanced length of muzzle and gorgeous dark eyes. Moved very well in all directions holding her outline firm.

2.Taylor’s Oldcharm Can You Love Me at Maursett. Masculine head with well cushioned muzzle, dark oval eyes, defined stop and alert expression. Soundly made and carrying a good coat. Moved ok.

Open (4,1) Lovely class.

1.Short’s Malia Mistletoe Kisses JW. Nearing 2 years old, I realised after judging that she was BP the last time I judged the breed and certainly seems to have fulfilled her early promise. Lovely for size and shape with good substance, bone and feet. Super front assembly, well ribbed back, strong rear, level topline and correctly set and carried tail. Gorgeous head and expression, beautiful eyes, a well cushioned, blunt muzzle, high set ears and defined chin. In lovely coat and super condition, moving with a free, positive action, accurate out and back and looking a picture in profile. It was close in the class between her and her kennel mate but her head properties just appealed that little bit more and in the challenge for BOB her maturity gave her the edge over the beautiful puppy. BOB, Group 3.

2.Short’s Ch.Malia Harvest Flower. Another beauty from this kennel and again presented in first class order. Lovely balance to her outline with super topline and tail carriage, good chest and ribbing, correct front and rear assembly, moderate bone and good feet. Feminine head of good proportions with bright expression, dense pigment and defined chin. Moved well looking particularly good in profile.

3.Leak’s Velrok Razina of Madire

Squarely built with good topline and underline, good bone and moderate rear angulation. Head of correct proportions and typical frowning expression, neat ears and good pigmentation. Moved soundly, covering the ground well, well presented and handled.

3.Scott’s Zheniya Gold Dust

Junior (2)

1.Masters’ Aprika Graceland. Well schooled 12month Boston Terrier who was always standing to an advantage, showing off her smart, well balanced outline, eyes firmly on her handler. Small and feminine but with good substance and bone for her size, firm topline, good chest and ribbing, short loin and strong rear with hocks well let down. Such a pretty face with short muzzle of good width and depth, defined stop, dark round eyes and neat, high set ears. Moved with grace and style holding her outline firm. Still young with some maturing to do but couldn’t be denied Best AVNSC & Group 2.

2.Thomas’s Kelmorespitz’s Love N’War. 9 month TT Puppy with lovely profile movement, good for size, squarely built with level topline and well set and carried tail.
