Crystal Palace Canine Association 13th April 2025 Thank you so much to the committee for the invitation to judge at your show. Thank you to my steward, Richie, for his help. Finally a big thank you to the exhibitors for your entries and for being very cheerful and sporting. Bulldog Class 48 Puppy (1/2) 1st 87 Minto’s Onabazz Bling Bling for Tourmabull. Charming 10 month old bitch. Head is developing nicely, good breadth of skull. Short muzzle but enough there for good breathing, clean with no excessive wrinkling and open nostrils. Round, dark eye, excellent pigmentation and high set ears. Nice arch to neck into nicely sloping shoulders. Well off for bone, elbows sitting away from her ribs which have good spring. Nice round feet with good pasterns. Deep chest, short through her back with a strong loin developing well. Muscling up well on her hinds too with a slight bend to the stifle. Moved with the typical roll and keeping low to the ground. BPIB. Class 49 Junior (0/1) Class 50 Postgraduate (2/2) 1st 86 Minto’s Kenzduo American Pie for Tourmabull. Very pretty bitch with a nice head and dark eyes. Good balance of skull to muzzle length with open nostrils and not too much wrinkle. Good jaw and flews. Good neck into well constructed forehand, with sloping shoulders and well set elbows. Nicely boned fores, set wide with excellent pasterns and feet. Well rounded ribs and good arch over her loin which is well muscled and of correct length. Good rear assembly with nicely muscled thighs and hocks well let down. Won the class on her movement which was very tidy and active, particularly clean foot placement on her front. RBOB. 2nd 82 Anscombe’s Blenhiemstar’s Lancelot of Jraygon. Sweet natured boy with a nice, large head, good round eyes, good muzzle and jaw. Nice amount of wrinkling without excess and good open nostrils. Good length and arch to neck, sloping shoulders and elbows set away from ribs. Well boned fores, just a bit down on his pasterns. Excellent depth and width of chest, well sprung ribs and strong loin. Correct topline, well muscled rear with good strength in hocks. Good stride on the move just not quite as accurate on his footfall as the first. Class 51 Open (1/1) 1st 83 CH Blenhiemstar’s Taliesan of Jraygon JW ShCEx OSW. What an outstanding example of his breed this 3 year old male is. Compact, strong, fit and with a super temperament. Excellent head with large, square skull, fantastic short, broad muzzle. Well developed cheeks, good flews and jaw. Dark, clear, round eyes in line with his stop. Small ears, set on high. Strong neck with good arch into well sloped shoulders. Excellent bone, straight fores, excellent strength in pastern and good round feet. Excellent depth of chest, good forechest and elbows set well away from ribbing. Round ribbed, carried well back. Excellent topline, with rise over his strong, short loin and good tuck up. In great muscular condition all through, thighs are well developed with hocks well let down. Moved around the ring easily, with that bulldog roll and keeping his feet close to the ground. Very active and sound. BOB and delighted to hear he went on to win BIS. Standard Poodle Class 72 Puppy (No entries) Class 73 Junior (4/4) 1st 140 Woodward’s Kamarri Lookin Smart at Novatell. Stunning black bitch who has just turned a year old. Beautiful, elegant head with the darkest of eyes. Good length of muzzle, nicely chiselled with good cheek bones. Long neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Good chest, elbows set close to ribs. Nicely boned straight fores into good strength in pasterns and small, tight feet with well arched toes. Liked her topline and length of back and loin. Well developed thigh muscles, good bend of stifle and clean, well let down hocks. She has energetic, fluid movement and covered the ground with ease. BOB. 2nd 138 Fisher’s Prince of Bourbon de Alta Signa at Townedale. 14 month old male who has an impressive white coat. Dark almond shaped eyes and a clean, elegant head. Nice reach of neck into good shoulder placement. Good amount of forechest and depth of chest with close fitting elbows. Straight fores, strong through the pasterns and good, oval feet. Level topline of correct length into strong loin. Well angulated rear, well muscled thighs. Moved with enthusiasm just slightly overreaching on his hinds. RBOB. 3rd 136 Barker’s Kamarri Let’s Go Barbie to Crystalar. Class 73 Postgraduate (3/3) 1st 140 Woodward’s Kamarri Lookin Smart at Novatell (as above). 2nd 139 Parker-Stokes’ Aurora Moonlight for Ronarker. Sweet disposition on this cream 17 month old bitch. Pretty head, dark eyes, finely built muzzle with clean lines. Good length of neck, moderately angled at the front with bone in balance with her size. Straight fores and good feet. Carried her topline well, good length of loin into rear angulation that is balanced with her front. Nicely muscled thighs, strong hocks. Moved soundly around the ring. 3rd 137 Cole’s Pompom Blaine.
