This was a lovely class of promising young dogs.

1st Sonham Just Good Friends (ai) (Mrs A D Matthews), 8-month-old liver and white, who appeals greatly for her overall balance. She has the most exquisite head with a good amount of work to it, pronounced occiput, fine leathers, good length of neck set into well laid shoulders, ribbing carried well back, enough angulation behind, moved well fore and aft, showing her driving action, pleased to award her BPIB and see her take the gundog puppy group.

2nd Teisgol Rose Campion (Mr Pr & Mrs De & Mrs L Stilgoe & Stilgoe & Fox) Orange girl of good type, lovely head with a good amount of chiselling, good neck in to well laid shoulder, good amount of ribbing and stifles well bent, moved well but preferred the driving action of 1

3rd Teisgol Sweet William (Mr P & Mrs D, Mrs L Stilgoe & Fox)

1st Harvestslade Fire and Ice Through Merynjen JW (Mrs K D Wilcox), Well balanced Orange dog, good front and liked his amount of ribbing, strong through the loin, Moved well using his tail.

1st Sunhouse Black Is Back at Salmonmist JW (ai) (Ms S R Philo) Upstanding black and white, who appealed for his overall balance. Lovely head with correct amount of chiselling, fine leathers set high and pronounced occiput, good reach of neck slightly arched into a well laid shoulder, good depth to chest, ribbing carried well back, strong through the loin and stifles well bent. Moved well in all directions and pleased to award him BOB

2nd Sh Ch Teisgol Love Is in The Air (Miss M E, Mr P R & Mrs D E Oliver & Stilgoe) orange and white dog of lovely overall type. Correct head and work, correct front assembly, good amount of ribbing, strong loins with stifles well bent, moved well in all directions but felt the first had more drive. RBOB

1st Rocheby Alfie (Mrs C Richards) Black dog with good substance who appeared greatly, for his overall breed type. Broad skull with stop well defined, good ears which hung close to his head, wide nose with nostrils well developed. Strong neck into well-placed shoulder, good return of the upper arm. Enough body for age, well-developed hind quarters and a short, dense coat BPIB

2nd Meadowleigh Time to Dream (Mr M & Mrs A Hoban) A black bitch who is well made, broad skull, good eye, well defined stop. Good front with depth to fore chest, good body and well angulated behind. Moved ok but needs more ring craft to get the best out of this young dog.

1st Langanhoe Liberty Bell in Aquadell (Mrs R A & Mr G J Cary) Black Bitch who is well made throughout, broad head, strong neck and good lay of shoulder, for me she rather wide through the front which showed in her movement. Good body and coat, ok angulation behind. Moved ok in profile

2nd Carpenny Frieda (Miss D Goodwin), Yellow Bitch of good type,shorter in the couple to 1, broad head good reach of neck, barrelled ribs, well angulated behind, correct tail set but carried high on the move.

3rd Handialla Lady in Red at Ballaremuera (Mrs W A Jury)

1st Tamazan Five Star (Mrs A Packford-Garrett), Black bitch broad head, good eye colour, good coat and otter tail.

1st Mcfarwins Flashing Lights JW (Miss D Goodwin) Yellow bitch who is so correctly made and full of breed type. Broad head, slight stop, wide nose and well-developed nostrils. Clean through her neck but maintaining strength set in to well laid shoulders, with return of upper arm being of near to equal length placing her legs directly below her withers. Super fore chest, ribs barrelled and lovely body, loin wide, well angulated hindquarters. Moved round the ring showing her typical action, pleased to award her BOB

2nd Trendlewood Ebony and Ivory (Miss J Moody) Strong Black dog, Broad head, slight stop, strong neck and clean through the front. Good amount of body and barrelled ribs. Good angles behind, moved well in all directions and well handled.

3rd Meadowleigh Turn Back Time (Mr M & Mrs A Hoban)

1st Peiluv Chasing Rainbow for Nattah (Ms Severn), Brindle and white male who is up on his legs at the moment, and still very much a baby. Long lean and tapering to muzzle, oval eye and correct ears, Neck elegantly arched, front assembly is developed enough for age, with fore chest still to fill. Ribbing carried well back and good angles behind. Moved ok showing good length of stride. BPIB

2nd Pelyma Surely I’m Striking (Mrs N & Miss I Scullion) 6-month-old bridle, who, along with her handler, was having their first show. Nice for size, Good head and reach of neck, nice spring of pastern, ribbing is ok, hind angulation is developed well. Once this partnership has developed a bond in the show ring, they will have some fun. Very well handled by the handler, giving her puppy a lovely first show experience.

1st Whitesquall Superiore (Lord J & Mrs S L Titt) a dog I had judged earlier in the year, he is of good type, correct head, oval eye, fine ear, good length of neck into from assembly and good return of upper arm, good depth to fore chest and throughout and ribbing carried well back, strong through the loin and stifles well bent. Moved well

2nd Shelsue Jingling Jennie (S A Hoskins) Fawn Bitch who appealed greatly for breed type, correct head, rose ear and long neck elegant arched, shoulder well laid but I would like a touch more length to her return of upper arm. Ribbing carried well back and strong loin, good angulation behind. Moved ok in profile, but a little untidy in front today

3rd Blueflight Brewin Up A Storm (Miss M K Chappell)

1st Bodlon Kind of Magic at Shelsue (S A Hoskins) Bridle bitch who is nice for size and I particularly liked her shape when stood, correct head tapering to muzzle, correct oval eye and rose shaped ears, neck elegant into a well laid front, slight spring to pastern and good depth throughout. Ribbing cared well back and good angles behind. Moved well to win this class. Pushed hard for RBOB

2nd Boland Baloo for Nattah (Ms Severn) Fawn brindle, who is heavier the 1st, nice head with correct ears, good reach of neck, ribbing carried back, strong loin and well angulated behind, moved true fore and aft and in profile, but preferred the overall balance and shape on 1.

3rd Nattah Potters Magic with Moyles (Mrs S R & Mrs C A Steel & Baulch)

1st Kidaruka It's Showtime at Oxana JW ShCEx OSW (Miss S J Shepherd) upstanding male, correct head with oval eye, good length of neck elegantly arched in to a well-made front assembly, good depth to fore chest, and good length of ribbing carried well back slight spring to pasterns and neat feet, strong loin, stifles well bent, moved well in all directions showing good drive from behind. Pleased to award him BOB,

2nd Palmik Against All Odds for Coppershell (Mr P R, Mrs S & Ms S R Glithero & Philo) Another lovely brindle male, he has a correct head with tapering muzzle, correct eye, ear rose shaped, good length of neck in to a well laid shoulder and return of upper arm, good depth, ribbing carried well back and slight arch to loin, well angulated behind and moved well, preferred the fore and aft precision of 1
