Lancashire Heeler

Such a fab breed, and one that can have such quality.

Puppy (3,2)

1st: Musk & Bingham’s Kavalo Tougher Than The Rest. Has a nice flat skull and width between ears. Moderate stop. Parallel head plains. Almond shaped eyes. Ears are well set. Moderate length of neck. Moderate angulation. Firm topline. Well-turned stifles. Moved soundly when settled.

Special Yearling (4,1)

1st: Budd’s Kavalo Dancing In The Dark. Reasonably flat skull and equal length of skull to muzzle. Almond shaped eyes with typical expression. Moderate arch to neck. Moderate angulation fore and aft. Good bone and straight legs. Bit long in body. Well set tail which was carried very nicely. Moved very well. BP

2nd: Braybrook’s Tudorbrook Smartie Girl. Head in proportion to body. Skull wide set between ears, but a little more domed than 1st. Moderate stop. Eyes good colour but a little full for my preference. Preferred proportions of this one. Little bit tubby on the day. Tail tighter than 1st. Moves soundly.

3rd: Budd’s Kavalo Glory Days

Limit (4,2)

1st: Budd’s Tudorbrook Hocus Pocus. A lovely bitch. Very attractive. Lovely head with good parallel head plains. Skull could maybe be a tad flatter. Good width between ears. Well balanced in skull to muzzle. Beautiful almond shaped, dark eyes. Great expression. Well set ears. Strong legs and pasterns. Well angulated. Upper arm returns sufficiently. Firm topline. Correct tail set and carriage. Lovely tan markings. Excellent mover. In great condition. BOB

2nd: Musk & Bingham’s Lankeela Our Marnie. Such a lovely personality. Masculine. Eyes are well set and almond shaped. Quite nice expression, Neck a tad short. Ok for proportions. Moderate angles all through. Firm topline. Tail has quite a curl. Moved soundly.

Open (2,0)

1st: Budd’s Parabar Primosa. Brown of lovely make and shape. Eyes nice for shape and ok for colour. Ears are well set but she was not very alert on the day. Strong, slightly arched neck. Moderate angulation. Well proportioned body. Deep chest. Small feet. Tail set on high and carried over the back as required. Sound mover. RBOB

2nd: Musk & Bingham’s Parabar Puzzling Pilot. A big boy. A little coarse all through for me. Head is masculine and quite well proportioned. Eyes are ok for shape and colour. Ears are well set. Muscular neck. Moderate angulation. Deep chest. Tail set high and carried well in the move. Sound around the ring.

Samoyed

Well-proportioned body of excellent balance. Good bone. Coat coming along nicely. Excellent profile mover. Just needs a little more width in front which will improve her front action. BOB, BP.

Veteran D/B (1,0)

1st: Knights & Stokes’ Ch Toveri Tosca of Lelaps. Another with a super typical head and expression. Hard to believe 12 years old. Well put together and displays so many qualities of this super breed. Square in outline and moderate angles. Firm topline. High set tail. Showing age a little in body. Still moving well – when she wanted to! Such a character.
