I would like to thank the Society for the appointment and for their hospitality. It was a lovely show, although the venue was rather chilly. My sincere thanks go to my stewards, Maureen and Mandy, whose help was very much appreciated throughout the day.
Due to illness, I was initially unsure whether I would be able to fulfil this appointment, and I am extremely grateful to my fellow judge who kindly stepped in to judge some of the breeds. Fuelled by lemsip and various other over-the-counter remedies, I was pleased to be able to carry on and complete the judging of the Groups and AV classes. Thank you to the exhibitors for bringing your lovely dogs for me to judge.
