Land O’Burns Canine Club Sunday 7th December 2025

I would like to thank the committee of Land O’Burns Canine Club for the invitation to judge Junior Handlers at their December 2025 show, I was very impressed with the handling skills of all the junior handlers on the day. Thank you to my stewards on the day for keeping me right and all the exhibitors for their entries. Lovely show and was made very welcome.

Junior Handling SKC Qualifier

Class 168. A Junior Handling 6-11 Years (6 Entries, 4 Absent)

1 – Evie Bryson – 9 year old, handling a Scottish Terrier, extremely impressed by this young handler. Handled her dog to perfection and done everything that was asked at the time, she paid attention to the judge and how she was handling her dog at all times. Pleased to award her Best Junior Handler

2 – Jackson Kirkwood-Emery – 9 year old, another confident young handler who handled his dog very well. He was very patient with his dog and done everything that was asked. Very promising young handler just unfortunate to meet 1st today

Class 169. B Junior Handling 12-16 Years (4 Entries, 2 Absent)

1 – Kira Dunbar – 13 year old who handled her dog very well and was very confident with what was being asked of her. Very impressed with her handling and attention to detail, carried out the pattern correctly. Very promising handler.

2 – Cambria Leitch – 12 year old, another confident junior handler who performed the pattern without obstructing the judges view of the dog. Demonstrated natural handling and showed the dog to the best of ability. Well done today.
