Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Firstly I’d like to extend my thanks for the secretary and committee for an invitation to judge at your lovely show, the day was very well organised and hospitality for judges was fantastic, the venue was very good with good sized rings. Many thanks to my steward on the day for ensuring the classes ran smoothly. Thank you to all exhibitors who entered their Stafford’s under me, I am pleased to say there no was visible health concerns to report.

1st Walsh & Lloyds Geordiestoon Defiant Boy (D)

A nice upcoming youngster with a nice clean head with alert expression, displays a good amount of under jaw with a good muzzle to head ratio, dark round eyes distinct stop with neat thin ears, dentition ok, well balanced in proportions when viewed from all angles, short broad neck leading into well placed muscular shoulders, ample fore chest and brisket with plenty of width propped up by well boned arms and strong pasterns, ample amount of rib for a developing puppy, level topline with a close coupled loin, rear angulation correct, good amount of muscle on first thigh, tail set correct, moved and handled well with a good gait and driving from the rear, pleased to award BP, good luck for the future.

2nd Hagans Kahamaia Auckland (B)

Nice feminine clean head shape with a lovely expression, distinct stop good muzzle length, good athletic profile and balanced throughout, shoulders placed nicely with sufficient width up front, strong pasterns and neat feet, nice tuck into a light close coupled loin, topline level, rear angulation correct, well defined 1st thigh, moved ok but made her handler work for it, preferred the movement of 1st on the day but good luck for the future with her. Presented in lovely condition.

3rd Phillips Geordiestoon Agamemnon (D)

Smart looking brindle boy with a keen alert expression, head deep through with well developed cheek muscles and good under jaw, dark round eye with thin neat ears, ample width to the front with a good fore chest and brisket, neat feet, good amount of rib tapering into a close coupled loin, level topline leading into a well set tail, moved well with drive, just preferred the overall balance and fitness of 2nd, best of luck with him.

1st Bennetts Sikaistaff Thug Rose (B)

A smart black brindle bitch with a feminine yet powerful looking head shape and captivating expression, dark round eye distinct stop, good under jaw with the correct dentition and large canines, ample width up front with a sufficient amount of substance to the fore arm, strong pasterns at the correct angulation and neat feet, sufficient amount of rib which tapers lovely into a light close coupled loin with a good tuck, topline level leading into a well set tail, rear angulation is correct, stifles well bent with good muscle definition to the1st and 2nd thigh, moved very well maintaining a her level topline with a parallel gait, well balanced and clean in profile throughout with good pigmentation, handled and presented very well, pleased to award BOB

2nd Halls Geordiestaff Local Hero (D)

Black Brindle and white dog, keen expression, dark eyes, open nostrils and sufficient muzzle length to head ratio, ears set well and dentition correct, ample width up front with no weakness at the pasterns, shoulders well placed, rib developing nicely with a good tuck into a light loin, rear angulation correct with parallel hocks when stood, moved well around the ring and presented in fit condition, just preferred the movement and balance of 1st today.

Smart red bitch I have had the pleasure to judge before and improving every time I see her, lovely clean head shape, dark eyes, good muzzle length with neat thin ears, dentition correct, good amount of width to the front and a nice fore chest leading into well boned forearms, no weakness at the pasterns and neat feet, shoulders well laid back with a good amount of muscle definition, sufficient amount of rib which tapers into a light loin, rear angulation correct and moves with drive with a good gait, presented in fit condition, preferred the expression of 1st today.

1st Jamieson Bramleys Tyneview Etna Nero (D)

Lovely looking brindle dog, athletic and clean in profile, good head shape and great expression, nice dark eye, good muzzle length and nice thin well set ears, dentition good with large canines, good fore-chest and neat feet, topline level and a nice tuck into a close coupled light loin, his tail is set perfectly and forms the classic pump handle appearance, nice amount of muscle to the thighs which are well defined, stifles well bent and parallel hocks when stood, moved freely around the ring maintaining a level topline, presented in excellent fit condition.

2nd Seatons Daisy Duke Mooncake Von Der Rennstadt (IMP DEU) (B)

Black brindle bitch, fantastic alert expression, good muzzle length with distinct stop, ears set well and are neat and thin, dentition correct, plenty of width up front, well boned fore arms, strong pasterns and neat feet, good amount of rib with a close coupled loin, stifles well bent and well-muscled thighs showing definition, moved ok, just preferred the movement and balance of 1st today.

Brindle and white bitch with keen cheeky expression, dark eyes with good muzzle to head ratio, dentition correct, clean outline with nice short neck onto well laid shoulders, sufficient amount of width up front and good depth of brisket, no weakness in the pasterns and neat feet, ample amount of rib which tapers nicely into a close coupled loin with a good tuck, well-muscled rear quarters showing plenty of definition at the correct angulation, tail set well, moved well with drive which looked effortless, presented in fit condition.

2nd Seatons Coolio In Gangsters Paradise Von Der Rennstadt (IMP DEU) (D)

Head shape deep through with well-muscled cheeks with good amount of under jaw, eyes dark, ears neat and thin and well set, good dentition, ample width up front, deep brisket with well boned fore arms with neat feet, topline level, good amount of rib and close coupled, correct angulation of rear quarters which are well muscled with definition, movement was good however preferred the movement of 1st today.
