Crystal Palace canine Association, Sunday 13th of April 2025.

Cocker Spaniels.

Thank you to the committee and officers for their kind invitation to judge the cocker spaniels at Crystal Palace canine association open Show. I would like to thank the exhibitors for their entries and the privilege to assess your dogs. I am most grateful, I had a wonderful day with lovely dogs to go over. Also, thank you to my two stewards on the day for keeping a smooth running ring.

Puppy:

1st Hutton-Baber’s Babtonkelpie Galley Queen (B).

What a lovely blue roan puppy this is. Feminine head with good stop, nice square muzzle with good depth of chest for her age. Nicely balanced. Moved happily around the ring.

BP.

I really like this blue roan, nice and square. Cobby, good head with gentle expression. Nice square muzzle with distinct stop, low set ears. Neck moderate in length. Good top line with short loin, correct tail set, good bender of stifle short below hock allowing for plenty of drive,

strong and compact. RBOB.

Blue roan with strong masculine head. Good chest. Legs well boned, nice level top line, well rounded hindquarters. Moved well around the ring.

1st Griffin’s Griffial All my Loving (B).

This girl has a gentle expression. Cleanly chiselled. Neck moderate in length, set into fine sloping shoulders. Body compact. Ribs well sprung with level top line. Short below hock allowing for plenty of drive, moved well. Nicely turned out.
