1st:Reeves; GILLINGS CHIFFON BLACK — 18-month-old bitch of pleasing size and type. Feminine, balanced outline with an appealing, well-proportioned head, good length of muzzle and clean, elegant neck flowing into well-laid shoulders. Good rib and tuck-up, showing correct compact body and fine bone. Correct front and sound dentition. Moved freely and accurately, though not in her best mood today, a little hesitant in tail carriage which detracted slightly from overall animation. L

Limit Class:

1st: Green; THREE TIMES A LADY — 23-month-old bitch of quality and elegance. Presents a lovely feminine head with correct wedge shape, dark almond eyes and fine candle-flame ears giving true expression. Good dentition and strong underjaw. Well-developed ribcage with depth and tuck-up showing correct balance and compactness. Moved soundly on a straight front with reach and drive, maintaining her outline throughout. Shown in fine coat and condition. Reserve Best of Breed.

2nd:Reeve; GILLINGS FUTURE STAR; Feminine bitch of pleasing size and type, presenting a lovely head with correct proportions and good length of muzzle. Balanced outline with well-developed ribcage and clean front. Would prefer more consistent ear carriage to complete the typical alert expression. Good tail set and carriage. Moved soundly with accuracy and ease.

Open Class:

1st:GREEN & LEONARD; LADY IN BLACK AT WITCHSTONE — 23-month-old bitch of excellent type and balance. Appealing, feminine head with correct length of muzzle, dark almond eyes and lovely candle-flame ears, well used to enhance expression. Good dentition and clean outline with elegant neck flowing into well-laid shoulders. Correct front and angulation, nicely tucked up with good depth of rib. Shown in lustrous, close coat. Moved soundly and with ease, maintaining her shape at all times. Best of Breed.


2nd:REEVE; GALVIZACH ROYAL EMERALD — Male of pleasing size and type, presenting a balanced outline. Good head proportions with correct dentition and moderate neck flowing into well-laid shoulders. Straight front with sound angulation fore and aft. Moved freely and accurately, maintaining an even stride.

Slightly less solid topline on the move compared to 1st place.

Moderate neck flowing into straight front and good topline. Correct angulation fore and aft. Moved soundly and confidently, though slightly immature compared to 1st place. Best Puppy in Breed.

2nd:GULLON; BARNFALL UNFORGOTTEN — Boy of pleasing size and square outline, showing typical Griffon character. Round head with well-set dark eyes and correct turn-up to muzzle. Moderate neck flowing into level topline, good angulation fore and aft. Coat of correct harsh texture. Moved soundly, though slightly unsettled on the table.

Short, cobby body of correct proportions, with lovely head showing correct length of muzzle, slightly rounded skull, and dark expressive eyes with well-pigmented rims. Lively dentition, good reach of neck flowing into straight front and moderate angulation fore and aft. Tail carried correctly over back. Moved freely and confidently, maintaining balance and level topline. Overall excellent pigment and condition. Best of Breed.

1st:CORNER; DELABY MISS DAISY — 22-month-old bitch who immediately caught the eye. Of lovely size with very appealing head type, large dark expressive eyes, correct length of muzzle and black nose. Strong dentition, long well-set ears with abundant fringe. Straight front with moderate angulation and bone, flowing into well-balanced body. Tail set correctly. Moved confidently when settled, though slightly hesitant today, otherwise showing potential for Best of Breed. Reserve Best of Breed.


2nd – CALLAGHAN & TODD; CALLYSPRIDE CEDRIC — Well-balanced boy of pleasing size and shape. Lovely head with large dark expressive eyes, moderate-length neck flowing into a straight front with good bone and correct angulation. Coat of correct texture, level topline, and well-set tail. Moved freely and confidently, showing balanced outline. Just preferred the head of 1.

1st:COLAVECCHIA; CAROLUS CAMILLA — 2-year-old Blenheim girl of pleasing type and size. Lovely head with correct length of muzzle, large dark expressive eyes, strong dentition, and well-set long ears with abundant feather. Moderate-length neck flowing into well-balanced body, silky coat in excellent condition. Carried her tail correctly and maintained a level topline on the move. Moved freely and confidently, showing good reach and drive.


2nd – RICHARDSON; KRINGLEHOLME CAPRICE — 2-year-old girl of pleasing size and type. Beautiful head with correct muzzle-to-skull ratio, dark expressive eyes, strong dentition, and well-set long ears. Straight front with good bone, level topline and compact, balanced body. Moved well when settled, though slightly lacking confidence today, which affected overall performance.


Open Class:

1st:G. WALKER; CARSAN RITCHIE RICH JW — Tri-colour boy, beautifully presented, of lovely size and well-balanced outline. Head of correct proportions with flat skull, good length of muzzle, large dark expressive eyes, and well-set long ears with abundant fringe. Strong jaws with complete scissor bite. Straight front with good bone, level topline and well-angulated hindquarters. Carried tail correctly and moved freely, maintaining balance and outline. Slightly less strong in back movement during the group challenge, but otherwise showing excellent breed type and presentation. Best of Breed.


2nd – A. WALKER; STAVONGA SKY WALKER KAYCEEKAY JW OSW ShCEx — Well-balanced tri-colour boy of pleasing size and type. Flat skull with large dark expressive eyes, correct length of muzzle and strong dentition. Moderate-length neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, straight front, level topline and correctly carried tail. Moved freely with good stride, showing balanced outline. Just preferred the overall shape and size of 1.

JAPANESE CHIN


Limit Class:

1st:LEACH; SHALARNA’S FANTASTIQUE — 11-month-old puppy of very elegant, aristocratic type with profuse silky coat. Head of correct proportions, moderately broad with short wide muzzle and large dark forward-facing eyes giving the typical astonished expression. Small high-set ears showing good feathering for age. Tail set high on level back, plumed over back. Coat of correct silky texture; body still developing. Slightly erratic on the move, but when settled showed stylish, free movement with good drive. Very promising puppy, awarded Best of Breed and Best Puppy. With more table training, could have placed strongly in the Puppy Group.


2nd: GULLON; ADREEAM ALICE JW — Very attractive girl of pleasing size and shape. Lovely head with short wide muzzle, small well-set ears, and large forward-facing eyes giving typical astonished expression. Moderate-length neck flowing into straight front with fine bone, level topline and well-carried tail. Moved well, showing balanced outline and good tail carriage. Just preferred the stylish movement of 1, but both are very promising and could switch places in the future.


Open Class:

1st:LEACH; SHALARNA’S NIPANTUCK — Well-balanced, appealing girl of correct size and shape. Lovely head with short wide muzzle, small well-set ears, and large dark forward-facing eyes showing a small amount of white in the inner corners, typical of the breed. Straight front with fine bone, level topline, and correct silky coat texture. Moved freely and confidently, maintaining balanced outline.


2nd:BAILEY; BENTWOOD WAGAMAPPA SUBI AT ALDORICA — Nicely balanced young boy with broad head and short wide muzzle. Moderate-length neck flowing into well-developed ribcage, level topline, and correctly carried tail. Straight front with good bone. Slightly sluggish on the move today, but otherwise showing balanced outline and correct breed type.

Limit Class:

1st:MILTON; MAJESTICOTON BEETHOVEN — 17-month-old boy, beautifully presented with distinctive white cotton-textured coat. Well-balanced, correctly proportioned with level topline and moderate-length slightly arched neck. Head of good proportions with straight muzzle, strong scissor bite, and large dark expressive eyes. Shoulders well laid back, straight front, small round feet with dark pads. Moved freely and correctly, showing balance and elegance. Very promising exhibit, awarded Best of Breed and was a contender for Toy Group placing.


Open Class:

1st:MILTON; COTONKISS FROZEN XPLOSION — Striking 10-year-old boy, still showing excellent breed type and qualities. Well presented and neat, with a lovely head, straight muzzle, strong jaws and correct scissor bite. Coat of distinctive cotton texture, full and supple. Topline rises slightly to well-muscled loin, good ribcage, and tail carried correctly. Pigmentation throughout excellent. Moved freely and smoothly, retaining balance and elegance. Awarded Reserve Best of Breed.

Special Yearling Class –1st: PATTERSON; LIMARTINE REDDY TO PLAY WITH BRATILDA — 11-month-old girl AST, very smart and well presented. Of correct size and proportion, slightly longer in body. Lovely head with almond-shaped dark eyes, well-proportioned muzzle, strong jaws with good dentition. Coat of correct silky texture and rich colour, falling naturally without impeding movement. Level topline, well-laid shoulders, straight forelegs and well-muscled hindquarters. Moved freely, straight and true, showing alert, keen terrier temperament. Best Puppy

2nd: CODLING: SHISHALEE'S SEX BOMB — This Russian Toy Terrier is of nice size, square in outline, and well-proportioned. Large, erect ears correctly set, giving a typical alert expression. Strong jaws with good dentition. Neck of moderate length, flowing smoothly into well-laid shoulders. Topline level, moderate angulation fore and aft, balanced body with tucked-up flanks. Feet small and compact. Moved satisfactorily, though I would prefer a slightly brisker, more positive action to fully display the breed’s lively character.


Open Class:

1st: CODLING: GRANDE MISTERIO I LOVE LOVE LINGKISS — This Black & Tan Russian Toy Terrier is of lovely shape and size, very smart in the ring. Head of correct proportion with dark, expressive eyes, and large, erect ears set high. Straight front with fine bone, well-developed ribcage, and moderate reach of neck flowing smoothly into shoulders. Topline level with well-balanced angulation fore and aft. Feet small, compact, and correctly placed. Moved briskly and positively, showing the breed’s lively, alert character. Awarded Best of Breed.

A 7-year-old bitch, beautifully presented and in excellent condition for her age. A pleasing size and shape with a well-balanced outline. Good pigmentation and a nicely proportioned head with dark expressive eyes. Level topline maintained both standing and on the move. Well-angulated fore and aft, moving freely and happily around the ring. Best Veteran

7½-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, in lovely condition and presented well. Attractive, lively head with good length of muzzle, dark nose, and correct bite. Moderate neck leading into a level topline, which she maintained on the move. Coat of correct silky texture, tail well carried, and moved soundly with ease and style
