I would like to thank the committee for the kind invitation and opportunity to judge at this friendly show. It was an honour and privilege to judge at this well-run show. I would also like to thank my two stewards who worked so hard. I really enjoyed my assignment and had a wonderful day. And most especially huge thanks to all exhibitors who entered under me and allowed me to go over their quality dogs.  

West Highland White Terrier

Open 2 (1 ABS)

1st place. Maxmadadh Midsummer Mojito. (Miss J & Miss EF.Bell)

Lovely dog of 2 years, slightly bigger size. Correct shaped head, dark eyes with good pigmentation, small neat ears, good body proportions, lovely straight front, strong topline, correct tailset. Excellent coat texture. Moved well with good balance. BOB.

A handsome 11 month black and tan puppy. Nice head with dark expressive round eyes well set, good body proportion for age, well sprung ribs, straight forelegs, short loin, well angulated hindquarters, well cushioned pads, correct tailset. So well presented in silky shiny coat with lovely feathering coming up. Moved well all around. He has an excellent temperament, never stopped wagging his tail. BP.

2nd place. Thekop's You Little Charmen. (Miss L.Linton)

Another lovely 10 months blenheim youngster, a little shy in the ring. Good head proportions, dark eye, just slightly longer in muzzle, higher ears set and good feathering, good neck and nicely set to slopping shoulders, well sprung ribs. Good front angulation, longer in loin. Well finished coat with rich chestnut markings. Held a correct gently wagging tail. Moved ok and hope fills out with maturity.

1st Llapsttam Get Knotted JW. (Miss S.L Eccles)

Black and tan lovely boy with nice balanced head, dark eyes with good pigmentation, nice expression, ears correctly set, good body type and presents a lovely outline in profile, correct muzzle with good dentition, well sprung ribs,

good turn of stifle giving strong drive on the move. Long silky coat and feathering with tail held level of topline. Nice wagging tail. Moved well and steady in the ring. Very promising. BOB.

2nd place. Eildon Dream Elsa. (Miss Maxwell)

Another black and tan feminine bitch, elegant with soft expression, beautiful head with large, round dark eyes, black nose, ears set high giving soft expression. Arched neck with good shoulders. Front and rear legs parallel on the move, good body proportions. Silky coat, well cushioned pads. Moved out well.

3rd place. Frondil Martha Chance at Timbric. (Mrs K.J.Bacon)

1st place. Thekops Black'n Gold. (Miss L.Linton)

Another lovely, beautiful boy. Have soft expression of head, dark pigmented eyes, outstanding shoulders with arched neck, good well sprung ribs, excellent coat condition, rich colour. I just preferred his body type in this class. Very nice in body proportions. Moved nicely around the ring with good drive.

2nd place. Stavonga Sky Walker Kayceekay JW OSW ShCEex. (Miss A.B.Walker)

Good blenheim style dog with excellent condition, gorgeous head with lovely large round eyes, correct earset, moderate arched neck, well sprung ribs, coat with good condition - the owner should be proud. Nice steady movement with straight parallel legs with correct tailset. It was a hard choice to choose between them two - easily change places another day.

Junior 5 (3 ABS)

1st place. Sambeclo New Beginning. (Miss S.J.Mcauley)

Brindle white particolour beautiful feminine bitch with good head and lovely oval eyes. Black nose, good strong jaw with complete scissor bite. Rose shape ears. Long neck well set in to the shoulders. Deep chest, strong bone, well angulated both ends. Nice body curves in her topline and underline. Nice oval feet with strong nails. Fine and short coat carried in good condition. Nice steady movement and ground covering stride.

2nd place. Zenobia Just An Illusion With SweetAurora. (Ms M.Hutchinson)

Smart looking attractive brindle white trim boy, dark eyes, neat rose shape ears. Strong jaw. Long neck, good depth of chest. Slightly longer in loin but nicely curved underline. Well let down hocks. Excellent pasterns and feet. Correct tailset. Fine short coat. Moved out nicely in profile. Both strong winners in this class. Hope with age he fills out as I prefer for the male to have stronger second thighs.

1st place. Starceylon Dancing Master JW. (Mr C &Mrs L & Miss A.Tyson)

Black and white trim handsome boy who caught my eye straight away. Gorgeous head with elegant long strong neck, small rose shape ears, well sprung ribs, straight forearms, muscular firm back, showing good arch over loin, nice tuck up, strong second tights. Nice oval feet, thick pads and strong nails. My advice: he needs a little trim of the nails. Fine short coat, long tail. Nice & steady movement in all directions. Very promising.

2nd place. Longmire The Lark Ascending To Arjuna. (Miss H.V Russell)

Another lovely boy in this class, I loved his coat colour brindle white trim. Nice head with oval bright eyes, small rose shape ears. Long lean neck, nicely arched. Shoulders well laid back, straight forearms with strong pasterns, deep chest, muscular back. Nice oval feet, long well arched toes. Moved well. I preferred the topline and overall look of 1.

3rd place. Dalerafenn Follow A Dream JW. (Ms E & Mrs J.Salked & Graham)

1st place. BOB Citycroft Line of Duty. (Miss J.Barkas)

Very nice handsome male, stunning, fawn white trim colour of coat, nice head, bright oval eyes, correct small rose shape ears, lovely long muscular arched neck, strong shoulders, straight forearms with strong pasterns, deep chest, well sprung ribs, broad muscular back, strong and well developed second thighs with well let down hocks. Thick pads, strong nails, correct tailset. Beautiful short, fine coat and nice tight coat. The owner should be proud of his good condition. Moved very well, nicely holding topline. BOB

2nd place. Starceylon Regina Di Quadri JW. (Mr C & Mrs L & Miss A.Tyson)

Fawn brindle white trim coat, lovely pretty bitch with correct head, dark oval alert eye expression, small rose ears, long lean and arched neck, slightly wider in chest, straight forearms, correct arched topline with good underline, nicely angulated rear quarters with neatly arched well-padded toes. Moved ok just showing a little bit of shyness. It was difficult decision to choose between the two, as 1 stands much neater in the feet with stronger topline.

Very feminine sweet girl, lovely head, beautiful kind expressive eyes, good length of ears. Clean moderate neck, straight and strong forelegs with tidy compact feet. Lovely topline, good depth of chest. Short smooth coat in very Lovely free mover with ground covering stride. BOB.

Brownbank Willow With Raystans. (Mrs S & Mrs C. & Miss G.Maskell & Rayner & Maskell)

Another beautiful 10th months feminine bitch, nice head, moderately arched neck, slightly bigger chest depth, strong and straight forelegs with compact arched feet, well muscular, she looks slightly bigger at her age. Moved ok from the side and front when she settled.

Braccorions You Win Again From Brevathos. ( Ms Se.Atherton)

Strong feminine bitch, well muscled. Lovely white orange coat colour. Beautiful head with lean cheeks, chiselling above and below eye, good length and correct set of ears. Deep broad chest, straight strong forearms with strongly arched toes, loin wide, slightly arched with nicely topline. Nicely angulated square bitch. She’s powerful mover with extended fast trot. Well deserve BOB.

Callaiscroft Fait Accompli At Brevathos. (Miss E. Longman)

Lovely strong muscular 7month puppy. Stunning orange coat colour. He has such an amazing long lean head shape, very soft dark expressive eyes, correct earset, strong moderate short neck, deep chest, well sprung ribs, good long thighs with well bend stifles. I liked his body shape and overall body condition, lovely gentle temperament. Short and glossy coat. Moved well with plenty reach and drive covering the ground. BP

10 month puppy dog, well balanced and good shape for age, love his temperament. Lovely lean noble head with moderate stop, kind expression,

good body proportions, good angulation, correct tailset, lovely smooth silky coat, stood with confidence, moved and handled well. Have promising future. BP

Szelkiraly's Lovefool . (Miss C & Mr W.Murray &Parker)

10 month puppy, quite shy female, she's in good condition, nice feminine head, long arched neck. She needs more development in the chest but hope she fills out with maturity, lovely short smooth silky coat, moved ok - not that steady - giving her handler a hard time stacking.

Lovely bitch with correct head proportions, kind eye, expression and moderate low set ears, strong jaw with correct full dentition, long arched neck, well balanced body type, strong long forearm, muscular well laid back shoulders, thighs well developed, nice elegant movement, but needs more drive, stood well.

Another good looking male, with nice body proportions, nice lean head with moderate stop, lovely dark eyes, nice moderate angulation in rear, short smooth coat, high tailset on the move - becomes quite high and curly, excellent stacking, moved ok.

Nearly 3 years old, lovely handsome well balanced dog, loved this dog straight away since he entered into the ring, gives nice expression overall in picture. Nice head, moderate low set ears, strong jaws with correct dentition, strong arched neck, shoulders well laid back with long forearm, nice deep chest, well sprung ribs, strong loin, slightly arched round feet with short cut nails, short smooth silky coat, moved very well in all profiles. BOB.

2nd place

SH CH Rescuerdo Monika of Caorunn . (Miss G.Aynsley)

Nearly 8 years, nice looking bitch for age, lovely facial expression with moderate low set ears, moderate long neck, straight long forearms, slightly narrowing in chest depth, muscular croup, correct tailset, slightly longer nails, sound on the move, moved well - need little bit more drive.

4 years, medium size, pleasing bitch, clean-cut head with soft intelligent expression, high set ears nicely reaching corner of the lips, good length of neck, slightly arched, I loved her body shape. Forelegs straight and lean, good topline

with short strong back and nicely angulated quarters. Great stood on her feet and moved well in the ring. Well deserved BOB.

Nearly 6 years, mature good looking bitch. Nice head with dark almond eyes, ears nicely set high, strong jaws, neck muscular and thickening towards shoulders. Good chest depth, well sprung ribs. Slightly longer in loin. Nice round compact feet. Moved well.

Cushatlaw Athena JW. (Mrs P.Cox)

Another beautiful bitch. Nice head, long muscular arched neck, well laid back shoulders, good chest of depth and topline, correct tailset. Beautiful to watch her movement. She’s much heavier in body.

L compact bitch with pretty head, medium dark eyes, typical WSS. Strong jaws, long muscular neck. Forelegs straight, medium length with round thick pads, stifles moderately angled. Correct tailset. Straight silky coat presented in very good condition. I loved her smooth movement.

Another good looking bitch, she was quite a shy girl. Lovely mover when she's settled. Good head, hazel eyes, correct earset. Well boned forelegs, strong muscular second thighs, slightly heavier looking in profile. I loved her coat texture that gives a brilliant rich silky look.
