Thank you to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to Judge at their Show and to the Exhibitors for entering under me at this well run show and a fantastic venue.

WHIPPET

GRADUATE 9/4ab

1st Searle Miss N & Ms M Rawlinson, Reffton Tibalt at Whipsearle JW (IMP ESP). 2 year old dog, good head pleasing dark eye and good strong jaw. Nice long arch neck going into well laid shoulders, nice front with good bone and nice feet. Good deep chest and a nice spring of rib. Good topline with nice rise over the loin hindquarters well muscled with good bend of stifle and good second thigh, hocks well let down. Nice free movement. BOB

2nd Brooks Mrs Shonagh & Martin Brooks, Collooney For Your Eyes Only JW. 18month old dog nice head, good dark eye and a strong jaw.Good length of neck going into well laid shoulders, nice front and good feet, good deep chest and well ribbed with good tuck up. Nice topline with good muscled hindquarters and hocks well let down.

1st Leslie Mrs Pauline & Kenneth Leslie, Windwalker Afissa. Fawn bitch nice size, good head pleasing eye and nice strong jaw. Good length of neck and clean shoulders, good front with nice bone. Good deep chest and well sprung ribs, good topline with a nice rise over the loin. Hindquarters well muscled and a good developed second thigh moderate bend of stifle with hocks well let down moved well.

2nd Beattie-Nash, Mrs J & G Beattie-Nash, Railfield Rainstorm. Brindle and White dog of good size nice head and good dark eye, good length of neck and good shoulder. Nice straight front would like more fill in chest, good spring of rib. Good topline with good length of loin, hindquarters ok would like more a more developed second thigh, good bend of stifle and nice rear angulation. Hocks well let down sound mover.

BEAGLE

GRADUATE 2/1ab

1st Fallon, Ms Luisa, Molesend Jackpot. 9month old dog of good proportion, good head with well defined stop, a good dark eye, good low set ears and a strong jaw. Good dense coat, Nice slight arch neck going into well laid shoulders, nice straight front and well knuckled feet. Chest ok just needs to fill, nice level topline. Hindquarters ok just needs to tighten up in muscle well set tail and a well bent stifle. Movement a little loose but will come as he matures.

1st kilgour, Miss Wendy, Kelcardi Claudia. 2 year old bitch of nice size, good feminine head correct low ear set and a nice pleasing eye. Good strong jaw, nice slightly arched neck and well laid back shoulders. Good front with good rounded bone and well knuckled feet, chest well let down and well sprung ribs. Nice topline and hindquarters well muscled, good tail set good bend of stifle and firm hocks, just a little longer in frame than I’d like but moved well with good rear drive. BOB

AFGHAN HOUND

GRADUATE 2/0ab

1st French, Margaret & William French, Trust Queen Buddha at Zalmeerah (Rus Imp). 5 year old dog presented in beautiful coat and condition, good head correct shape eye and good low set ears, nice strong jaw. Good length of neck and nice sloping shoulders good length of upper arm, good front straight and good bone. Nice large feet, well ribbed with a good topline and a nice short loin hindquarters broad and good length between hip and the hocks, good turn of stifle moved well with a springy gait. BOB

2nd Mcintosh, Mrs Elaine, (unfortunately no name given in the catalogue) BB24394507. 11month old bitch, A little unsettled today, nice head good dark shaped eye giving that oriental look. Nice length of neck, shoulders ok .front straight, nice level topline. Unfortunately she wasn’t happy for me to go over her hindquarters. Movement was a little erratic.

1st Forrester, Arianna & Mrs F Nisbet, CH Pramya Hot But Not Blonde at Finix(Imp Fin) JW. 6 year old quality bitch excellent head correct ear set and a nice pleasing dark eye, good strong jaw. Good length of neck going into clean sloping shoulders, good straight front with large feet and good bone. Well ribbed and a good broad topline and hindquarters, good prominent hip bone nice length between hip and hocks. In excellent coat condition, beautifully handled by a 4 year old young lady.

2nd French, Margaret, Sitana Moon Knight at Zalmeerah JW. Another quality Dog in great condition, beautiful head with a pleasing eye. Correct ear set and a nice strong jaw. Good strong neck of good length. Lovely straight front with good large feet and plenty of bone, well ribbed and good topline, hindquarters good and broad with prominent hip bone nice. Good length between hip and hocks well bent stifle and a good tail set. Moved well with good front reach.

BORZOI

OPEN 2/0ab

1st Dollan, Mrs, Marilyn & J, Ralston, Scotach Just Chillin. Dog of excellent quality, lovely long head with a good dark almond eye. Nice small correct set ears, good strong jaw. Good slightly arched neck with enough muscle, good clean sloping shoulders and a good straight front with nice oval feet. Nice depth of brisket and well tucked up, had the typical Borzoi topline and nice fallaway. Good thighs and hocks well let down, nice low tail set. Moved free with great drive and effortless. BOB

2nd Dollan, Mrs, Marilyn & J, Ralston, Scotach Need For Speed. Litter Sister to 1st and another quality exhibit, much of the same attributes as her brother. Lovely head correct dark eye and nice ear set, good length of neck going into clean sloping shoulders and a good straight front. Correct topline and good tuck up, good hindquarters and low set tail. Hocks well let down and good angulation. Moved well. Splitting hair’s between the two for BOB.

1st Johnston, Mr T, Blevwil Ron Like The Wind(Ikc). 1 year old dog, nice proportion. Good domed head nice dark eye, nice low set ears, correct bite and strong jaw. Good length of neck, good chest with prominent breast bone, good large feet, ribs well sprung giving plenty of ground clearance. Topline broad slightly rising at the loin, hindquarters well muscled good bend of stifle and hocks well let down. Moved true with good rear drive. Still needs to fill his frame

1st Johnston, Mr T, Burnvale Queen of Diamonds. 3 year old bitch, good head correct dark eye good ear set reaching just past the tip of the nose. Strong jaw, good length of neck going into well laid shoulders, good front with plenty of bone nice large feet. Good deep chest and a nice prominent breast bone. Ribs well sprung would like a bit more ground clearance, good broad back and muscled hindquarters. Hocks well let down moved true and free. BOB

Good chest with a prominent breast bone, nice full deep feet, good ground clearance with a nice topline and short loin hindquarters broad and strong good rear angulation. Moved well with good rear drive. BOB

Nice level topline with a short loin, hindquarters full and well muscled. Good rear angulation. Moved free with drive coming from the rear. BOB

2nd O’hare Wilson, Mrs, Nakita, Atikan No Remorse. 16month old dog nice head with a good dark eye, good ear set. Neck of good length and nice sloping shoulder going into a good front would like a touch more fill in chest, good feet with well arched toes. Plenty of ground clearance well ribbed, good topline and nice hindquarters good rear angulation. Moved well.

1st Christie, Mr & Mrs Colin & Emma & Emma Christie, Cloudside Valentino At Decalleigh JW. 22month old dog of excellent quality, lovely head correct ear set and a pleasing dark eye giving a lovely expression. Nice strong jaw, good length of neck and well muscled, nice clean sloping shoulders and a good front with nice broad feet. Good deep chest giving plenty of heart room and ribs well back with plenty of ground clearance. Lovely topline and a nice short loin, hindquarters broad and well muscled with good rear angulation. Moved free with great drive coming from the rear. BOB

2nd Christie, Mr & Mrs Colin & Emma & Emma Christie, Tannahill Bergen At Decalleigh. 6 year old dog and another good example of the breed. Good head and correct ear set, nice dark eye and a strong jaw. Neck ok would like a touch more length, good clean shoulders and a nice front and good feet. Nice deep chest and well ribbed, good topline and a short loin, nice muscled hindquarters good rear angulation. Moved well and handled beautifully by a very polite young man.

1st Maxwell, Lyn & Lesley Chambers, Swanford Padamador. 10month old dog of good size nice head correct ear set and a pleasing eye, good length of neck going into well sloped shoulders. Good front with plenty of bone, good deep chest and a good prominent breast bone. Ribs well back and good ground clearance, nice topline with a short loin. Hindquarters well muscled and good straight hind legs with good rear angulation. Moved free and true BOB.

Nice strong jaw, good length of neck going into well sloped shoulders. Good front with good feet, a good deep chest and well ribbed. Plenty of ground clearance and a nice topline with a short loin, hindquarters broad and well muscled good rear angulation moved with good drive.

1st Jolly, Mrs Nicola, Priorpark William Wallace For Clanbruachan. 14month old dog, nice head flat skull, good eye and colour. Good ears set high, nice strong jaw with correct bite. Nice length of neck going clean muscled shoulders, good straight front with good arched feet. Good deep chest and well sprung ribs, good topline with strong loins. Good muscled hindquarters with well let down hocks. With good free movement.

2nd Kehoe, Miss A M & Mr C Phillips, Redcrown Celtic Queen. 16month old bitch of good size, nice head and correct ear set. Good eye and a strong jaw, lovely length of neck going into clean sloping shoulders. Good front with nice arched feet, good chest and well ribbed good topline with a strong loin. Hindquarters well developed and a good bend of stifle with hocks well let down. Moved true and free.

1st Mulholland, Mr Paul & Mr G A & Mrs J Cunningham, Walamadengie Heart Throb. A masculine dog who caught my eye, good head correct ear set and a good eye. Good powerful strong jaw, lovely length of neck going into clean well sloped shoulders with good muscle tone. Good straight front with good arched feet, good deep well developed chest and nice spring of rib. Good topline and a strong loin, hindquarters muscled with a good bend of stifle and hocks well let down. Good dense coat. Movement was effortless and free. BOB

Nice ear set and a strong jaw, good length of neck going into clean shoulders. Good front with nice feet, chest deep and well ribbed good topline with a strong loin hindquarters full with good muscle. Good bend of stifle and hocks well let down. Sound mover.

2nd Shaw, Mrs Margaret, Negasi Radagast JW. 3 year old dog, good masculine head with a good eye and nice ear set, good strong jaw and correct bite. Nice long muscled neck going into sloping shoulders. Good front with plenty of bone nice arched feet, deep chest and well sprung ribs. Good topline and a strong loin, hindquarters well muscled with well let down hocks. Moved free and true.

Basenji

GRADUATE 1/0ab

1st Donaldson, Charley & T Rabbitte & F Van-Dal, Woodella Caledonia. 14month old R/W bitch good size nice head and a good dark almond eye, nice strong jaw with correct bite. Good length of neck and well crested, good straight front with fine bone, nice small feet. Nice chest just needs to drop a little, nice topline level with a short loin. Hindquarters ok good high tail set with a good shelf, nice long second thigh with a moderate bend of stifle and hocks well let down. Moved well

1st Legget, Mrs Isobel, CH Swanwite Take A Chance On Me (SHCEX). 6 year old dog of good quality, nice size and proportions. Good well chiselled head good ear set and a nice almond shaped eye, good strong jaw and clean cheeks. Lovely crested neck of good length, shoulders well laid back and well muscled. Good straight front with nice feet, chest deep and ribs well sprung. Nice short topline and short loin, hindquarters well muscled and a high set tail with good curl and a good moderate bend of stifle and hocks well let down. Moved with great stride. BOB delighted to see him win the Hound Group.
