I would like to thank the committee of the Wath, West Melton & DCS for inviting me to judge German Shepherd Dogs at their 2025 Open Show.

P D/B (2,0) 1st Fryer’s Kymrigkita Jaegerin: 6 month, strongly pigmented, black and gold bitch with a lovely feminine head. Excellent ear set, feminine head and good teeth. Good front assembly with decent angles, straight forelegs and strong front pasterns. Chest should develop with maturity. Needs to settle on the move for her handler BP. 2nd Kemble & Pascoe’s Shernaa Jemstone Vom Falkenholz: 9 month richly pigmented black and tan feminine bitch with good ear set and alert expression. More muscular than 1 with more developed chest. Long, well-furnished tail. Preferred hind movement of 1 whilst going away today.

PG D/B (2,1) 1st Nicholson & Kaczmarcyk’s Norwulf It Must Be Love: 2 year old black & gold bitch presenting balanced proportions of both head and body. Feminine head with muscular neck flowing into strong straight topline. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. Good angles and strong pasterns front and rear. Overall impression on the stand of workmanlike ability and good breed type. Smooth action on the move, covering the ground. Well deserved RBoB.

O D/B (3,1) 1st Nicholson’s Chapelforge Angus With Norwulf: a mature, masculine 4 year old black and gold boy. Strong head, alert expression, good dentition and pigmentation. Good bone and substance. Neck flows into firm, gently sloping topline and continues smoothly through croup and onset of tail. Well developed chest. Balanced angles front and rear. Sound construction delivered smooth gait on the move, with good reach and drive. BoB. 2nd Lemon & Lemon’s Solophina Floyd At Mitzahner: a black and gold 4 year old boy with a dark eye and good ear set on a powerful wedge shaped head. Good front angles and forechest. A little pinned at elbow. Powerful neck flowing into straight and sloping topline. Muscular hindquarters and good length of well-furnished tail. Less forward going on the move than 1.
