I would like to thank the committee of the Wath, West Melton & DCS for inviting me to judge Hungarian Pulis at their 2025 Open Show.

P D/B (2,0) 1st Scrutton’s Tyngeli Make a Wish for Gemeau: confident 9 month bitch with black corded coat already developing well. Slightly domed skull, good dark eye and excellent dentition contribute to a breed typical head. Good topline, balanced angles and sufficient muscle for age. Hocks low and strong. Topline and tail held well through her brisk, lively movement. Needs to develop a little more chest, leg length and breadth through the pelvis, but she has time on her side for this. BP, RBoB. 2nd Hudson & Hudson’s Mournebrake Hi Ho Silver: 7-month boy with a lively, engaging expression, really well developed for age. Grey in various shades. Good head with correct dentition and pigmentation. Well angulated, well-developed chest and good breadth throughout. Needs to settle a little on the move. Lost out to 1 on maturity/performance today.

PG D/B (2,1) 1st Hudson & Hudson’s Mournebrake Also An Angel: 19 month fawn boy presenting a nice square silhouette and lovely breed typical head and expression. Good topline and spring of rib. Balanced angles. Cords are developing - could be a little more even. A promising boy, but sadly, did not wish to co-operate with his handler today on the stand or on the move.

O D/B (2,0) 1st Cowley & Cowley’s Kashbeluli There We Are Then (JW): mature and sturdy 3-year-old black male, presenting in superb order – beautifully made throughout. Excellent head proportions, dentition and pigmentation. Deep, well sprung ribcage. Strong topline and loin. Well laid shoulder and good bend of stifle and low, strong hocks. Fully developed, well corded coat. Showed great ring presence throughout his lively, short-stepping movement. BoB and Pastoral Group 1. 2nd Lilley’s Loncsosi Bator Nepper (IMP HUN): 2-year-old black boy. Good head proportions and teeth. Nicely held topline and good tail carriage. Good depth of chest and well ribbed up. Good breadth and well-muscled throughout. Well-corded coat. Would prefer just a little more length of leg. Steady on the move.
