A warm and friendly welcome awaited me from the committee of this enjoyable agricultural whose hospitality was second to none and all our judges needs catered for. Sadly not the best entry on paper and there were a number of absentees on the day. My thanks to my steward for keeping the ring flowing smoothly.

1st Humphrey’s Lilnrose Butterfly Kisses for Gloynbyw – 6 year old female, liked her size with adequate bone and well balanced body, attractive expression with well set and carried ears, would prefer a slightly shorter muzzle, moderate neck, moved and showed well.

1st Rees’ Parcauwen Whateva Next – 15 month hairless female, eye catching, correct for size with a well balanced body and moderate bone, correct head, well set and carried ears which were well furnished, long neck slightly arched, level topline and well set tail, correct angles front and rear allowing for sound movement in all directions, BOB and Group 1.

2nd Hampson’s Zerachiel Air Of Beauty – 13 month powderpuff female, nice for size and bone although slightly longer in body, attractive head of good proportions, well feathered ears, level topline with well set tail, well angled front and rear, correct coat.

3rd Sheldon’s Oozzoo Concept Of Truth

1st Rees’ Parcauwen Secret Liaison – 7 year old powderpuff male, correct for size and bone, well constructed body with good lay of shoulder, well sprung ribs and good turn of stifle, all with a typy head and excellent coat completing the picture, moved with ease, RBOB.

2nd Hampson’s Cefndaidi Emelia – Nearly 2 year old powderpuff male in a larger frame than one but well balanced, typy head with correctly set ears well feathered, good neck with a level topline and correct tailset, moved out well.

1st Billington’s Aquepins Jessica Fletcher JW – 3 year old b/t female, correct size with fine bone, good body proportions, typy head with large well set and carried ears, small dark eyes, good length to muzzle and rich tan, long neck , high set tail, moved with excellent hackney action, BOB and Group 2.

1st Hughes’ Trefnanney Thomas Hardy – 19 month male, liked him for size and bone, attractive head with large round eyes, deep stop with well set on muzzle, good neck leading into a well proportioned body, untidy on the move today, RBOB.

1st Hughes’ Trefnanney Charles Dickens – 19 month male, litter brother to the PG winner and many of the same comments apply, typy head, correct skull with well set and carried ears, large dark round eyes with desirable expression, good neck leading into a well made body, good movement out and back, BOB.

1st Thompson’s Blue Lagoon of Bytheiad - 7 year old male – attractive head, long flat skull, large eyes, well placed rose ear, long neck with an arched topline, well angled rear, in good condition, movement a bit erratic in the class but moved out better in the group to secure BOB and G4.
