My thanks to the society for their invitation to judge at this breed supported entry, and with the papillon club show running along side meant for a bumper entry full of quality.

Papillons

Puppy Bitch (5, 2A)

1st Stansbury’s Inixia Guy’s Girl – 7 month b/w, well balanced typy outline with enough bone, attractive head with narrow blaze, good head proportions with well set and carried ears, good reach to neck leading into a well constructed body, moved and showed well with correct coat coming, BP and BPIS4.

2nd Burke’s Graycaz Looby Loo – 10 month, slightly larger than one, typy head with correct head markings, nice eyes, well set and carried ears well fringed, well laid shoulder, correctly set tail, excellent showmanship and handled well.

3rd Slater’s Zizula Love Was Born To Shine

Junior Bitch (4, 0A)

1st Diprose’s Lastayla Perfect Purdy To Lilacrose – 15 month, appealed here for her overall size and balance, correct outline, attractive head, dark eyes, well set and carried ears, well fringed, well laid back shoulder mirrored with well bent stifle allowing for accurate movement to and fro.

2nd Milroy’s Straz S Vostoka Vienna With Farthinghill (imp Ukr) – 15 month, typy head of good proportions with correct shape eyes, good reach to neck, topline level with well set and carried tail, slightly long cast, good reach on the move.

3rd Headley’s Yeldaeh’s Miss Havisham

Post Graduate Bitch (7, 1A)

1st Stansbury’s Inixia Something Special – 20 month, loved her head, correct for proportions with dark eyes, dark pigment, well set and carried ears which were well fringed, good length to neck leading into well balanced body with level topline, correct angulation leading to sound movement.

2nd Walsh’s Keomandi Lady Of The Lake At Paradise – 2 year old, close up to one for size, shape and balance, good for bone, well proportioned head with correct expression, level topline and well angled in front and rear allowing for good movement coming and going.

3rd Nash’s Ookiimimi Truly Precious At Yeldaeh

Limit Bitch (5, 2A)

1st Neachell’s Gleniren I’adora At Suttonpark – appealed most in this class for her overall size and correct outline, attractive head, skull correct with large ears well set and furnished, correct eyes and appealing expression, good neck, moved well across and back, in excellent coat and condition.

2nd Griffiths & Griffiths’ Manawyddan Sweeter Music – 2 year old, larger than one but still presenting a well balanced outline, head ok with dark eyes and well set and carried ears, in good coat and condition and moved and showed well showing cheeky personality.

3rd Foynes’ Lilacrose Magic Crystal for Lafay

Open Bitch (5, 1A)

Excellent class where I was spoiled for choice.

1st Orchard’s Panspayon Natasha JW – 3 year old who for me is an excellent fit for the standard, the size I like, small and well balanced with good bone, excellent head of correct proportions, dark eyes, well set and carried ears with correct amount of furnishings, good reach to neck leading into a well constructed body, well angled front and rear with level topline and high set tail, moved soundly, in full coat and excellent condition, BB & BOB, made the shortlist for BIS.

2nd Morrell’s CH Athene Vom Schwabenhof For Temelora (imp Deu) – 4 year old, the best phalene I have had the pleasure of judging, very smart in outline, well balanced and correct for bone, correct head well proportioned, with correctly set and carried ears with plenty of fringing, good neck, correct construction throughout allowing for sound movement, hare feet, in lovely coat and condition. 3rd Morrell’s Aurora Vom Schwabenhof for Temelora (imp Deu)

Puppy Dog (5, 0A)

1st Stansbury’s Inixia Gorgeous George – 7 month, litter brother to BP winner and many of the same comments apply, well proportioned body with good bone attractive head well marked of good proportions with well fringed ears, ok for neck leading into well laid shoulders, moved and showed well, nice coat coming.

2nd Cartwright’s Necromancers Petit Cadeau – 9 month, similar to one for size and build, well balanced, head ok with dark eyes and well set ears, medium neck leading into level topline and well set tail, correct movement coming and going.

3rd Orchard’s Nightfire’s News On The Bet for Panspayon (imp Deu)

Junior Dog (6, 1A)

1st Mann, Mann & Morrell’s Braunswood Mask Of Zorro By Melangel – smart 17 month old, I liked his overall size and proportions, good bone, attractive head with dark eyes, well carried and fringed ears, good reach to neck leading into a well constructed body throughout allowing for steady movement in all directions, excellent coat coming.

2nd Milroy’s Metamorphic Expedition To Farthinghall – 10 month tricolour, excellent for type and size, typical head with nice markings, bright tan, ears well set and carried, level topline and high set tail, well bent stifle, BPD but spooked so not holding his tail at his best in the challenge.

3rd Headley’s Yeldaeh’s Mr Tumble

Post Graduate Dog (7, 2A)

1st Stansbury’s Inixia Glamorous Guy – 20 month who appealed for his overall outline, correct for size and balance, well laid shoulder with a level topline and well set and carried tail, angles mirrored in the rear with a well bent stifle allowing for sound movement in all directions, finished with a typy head, attractive expression with well set and carried ears showing plenty of fringing, BD close up for BOB but lacks the maturity of the female yet so had to settle for RBOB today.

2nd Thompson’s Inixia Glamour Boy at Jhankia – 20 months, many of the same comments apply and I later learned they are litter brothers, similar in size and balance creating an appealing outline, well made body allowing for steady sound movement, head and expression correct for breed with good pigmentation.

3rd Matthews’ Baillion Be Unique

Limit Dog (5, 0A)

1st Thompson’s Elendil San Miguel – 2 year old, head well proportioned with slightly rounded skull, dark eyes, large well set and carried ears, medium neck leading into a level topline with high set tail, showing correct movement in all directions.

2nd Morris & Stansbury’s Inixia Finest Hour – 2 year old, attractive in head which is well proportioned creating the desired expression, good pigment, deep chest, level topline, well turned stifle, free flowing movement.

3rd Morris’ Tarnock Tap Dance Teddy

Open Dog (7, 2A)

1st Davidson Poston’s Ch/Multi CH & Gr Ch Sky Butterfly Elven Cron Prince Spinillions Sk Winner 23 ShCeX (Imp Rus) – this dog creates an impressive outline when standing, and is groomed to perfection, well balanced and of correct size, attractive head of correct proportions and well marked, level topline and well angled front and rear, moved out well, preferred the expression of my BD today but close up, RBD.

2nd Carter’s Graycaz On A Mission JW – another attractive male presenting a well balanced outline although in a larger frame than number one, good for bone, typical head with large and well set and carried ears, medium neck and well laid shoulder with deep chest, in beautiful coat and condition, moved and showed well.

3rd Lees’ Lafford Black Onyx JW
